Jiang Nan shook his head: "I've been away from the organization for a while now."
Lin Yang nodded thoughtfully, and was about to leave when he suddenly saw a familiar black skull in a corner.

Lin Yang's previous guesses came true, but he wasn't surprised.
"Is the skull door you mentioned called Black Skull?"
They are all illegal assassin organizations, and some are even connected to Japanese people.
The Skull Gate that the woman mentioned was the Black Skull organization he had been investigating.
But if it's Black Skull, how could it be as simple as human experimentation and training killers?
The venomous insects alone were enough to give this woman a hard time, yet she managed to escape.
"I don't know, all I know is that they call themselves the Skull Gate."
The woman was startled by Lin Yang's agitated expression and stammered.
Lin Yang realized that he had overreacted and nodded after calming down.
If it's Black Skull, then this woman's identity becomes even more suspicious.
Now I've brought him here again.
"I understand. It's getting late, why don't we go get some food first?"
Lin Yang remained calm, but became even more wary of women.
Jiangnan nodded obediently.
"Is there anything you'd like to eat?" Lin Yang asked Jiang Nan.
Jiang Nan shook his head: "I'm fine with whatever."
"Actually, it's fine to eat at your organization's place, I don't have much money on me."
Jiangnan felt a little embarrassed. When she was on the run, she had thrown away all her extra belongings and naturally didn't have much money on her.
"It's okay, it's on me."
Lin Yang waved his hand dismissively.
He's a grown man; he can't be so stingy as to not be able to afford a meal.
Seeing that Jiangnan couldn't say what he wanted to eat, Lin Yang simply led Jiangnan into a nearby noodle shop.
"One bowl of fried noodles, boss." Lin Yang said, turning to look at Jiang Nan beside him. "What would you like to eat?"
"Just like you is fine." Jiangnan wasn't picky about food.
After a quick dinner, the two left the shop. As soon as they stepped outside, Lin Yang realized he was being followed.
There was more than one aura.
Lin Yang glanced at it, seemingly oblivious, while Jiang Nan, who was watching the kittens playing in the grass by the roadside with great interest, frowned.
"We're being followed."
"Oh no, how could this be!"
Jiangnan was startled; the kitten that was originally near Jiangnan had vanished without a trace.
"Since we've been discovered, we might as well stay here!"
A group of men in black suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
The leader of the men in black spoke coldly, his inorganic gaze sweeping over Lin Yang and Jiang Nan.
Without hesitation, he thrust his weapon toward Lin Yang's heart!
The people around, including the passersby who were chatting and laughing, were all startled by the sudden commotion.
Passersby ran around in panic.
The once bustling food street suddenly became deserted.
Lin Yang's face darkened. "These damned Japanese dare to make a move here!"
He had assumed that in the bustling city center, the other party would at least show some consideration.
These Japanese are far too arrogant.
Lin Yang dodged the attack by sidestepping, but fortunately he was prepared to unleash his silver needles.
Jiang Nan dodged a black-clad man's attack and said to Lin Yang, "It's all my fault for dragging you into this. These people are after me."
"Don't worry about me, you go first!"
"What a joke! Do you really think I, Lin Yang, am? A coward who clings to life and fears death?"
"A few mere Japanese traitors think they can kill me?"
While dodging the attacks from the attackers, Lin Yang retreated to a more distant location.
At the same time, he didn't forget to call Ding Na.
"Those Japanese are at the snack street in Dongguan District now, come quick."
As soon as Lin Yang finished speaking, the man in black who was coming towards him knocked his phone out of his hand.
"Holy crap! My phone!"
Lin Yang was unable to dodge in time and was cut on his shoulder. Fortunately, he dodged quickly and only the surface of his skin was scratched.
It's a pity, though, that outfit was bought for him personally by Lin Yuwei.
The man in black, having succeeded, wanted to continue his attack.
Lin Yang knocked the man in black down with an elbow, and the man didn't even have time to breathe a sigh of relief.
A cold, long blade pierced the air, heading straight for Lin Yang's heart.
"careful!"
Jiangnan's terrified pupils suddenly contracted as he rushed toward Lin Yang.
"Sizzle!"
The sword pierced the skin, and blood gushed out.
Holding the swaying Jiangnan, Lin Yang took the opportunity to pull out the fog bomb hidden in the first-aid kit.
The bomb cracked open, and the aerosol gushed out.
Lin Yang casually scattered a handful of silver needles, blocking the path of the men in black robes, and then fled into a distant alley with Jiang Nan on his back.
"We absolutely cannot let them get away!"
The man in black spoke in a cold, furious voice.
"Lin Yang, what do we do! There's a dead end ahead!"
Jiangnan's voice was already tinged with sobs.
"It's okay, don't say anything, I'll stop the bleeding for you."
Lin Yang spoke calmly, and with a silver needle in his hand, he pierced Jiang Nan's blood-clotting acupoint.
The bleeding stopped instantly.
Lin Yang glanced at it and saw that the other person's wound wasn't deep; it had just broken a vein, which was why there was so much blood.
"Keep running! Keep running!"
The men in black caught up from behind, sneered, and approached the two who had nowhere to retreat.
The gun was pointed at Lin Yang's temple.
"three."
"two."
"one!"
"Bang bang bang!"
After a loud thud, those who had been clamoring to kill Lin Yang fell to the ground, unable to get up.
Lin Yang curled his lips into a cold laugh, dusted off his hands, and said, "You really think all I can do is run away?"
