The foreman hesitated, finding the two of them rather odd, but one of his underlings encouraged him.
"Brother, why don't we keep them and give them a try? They might actually come in handy."
"Fine, I'll let you try. Don't try anything funny, or you'll regret it."
Ding Na and Lin Yang nodded in agreement and secretly gave each other a high five behind their backs.
Lin Yang was also surprised that Ding Na's exaggerated disguise was actually effective.
Lin Yang told the underling that he wanted to see the gang leader, and the underling scoffed.
"You two think you can see the boss? Don't you know your own limitations?"
"But since you're so interested, I'll take you to meet the second-in-command and see if you can catch his eye."
The two followed the gang leader through a narrow path, the walls on both sides covered with graffiti and some nonsensical markings.
The second-in-command was leisurely drinking tea; he was muscular and his arms were covered in tattoos.
Seeing that the leader had brought in two new recruits, he glanced at Lin Yang and Ding Na's exaggerated outfits as a flamboyant couple.
He spat out a mouthful of tea.
He coughed twice, paused for a moment, then turned to the henchman, unable to hide his anger.
"Where did you find these two oddballs? Are you trying to turn our territory into a circus?"
The foreman shrank back and smiled ingratiatingly.
"Second Brother, these two said they want to join our Rock Gang. I think they're quite interesting, so I brought them over for you to see."
The second-in-command frowned, looking at Lin Yang and Ding Na with disdain.
"If you want to join us, you need to have some real skills."
The second-in-command pointed to several of his men standing to the side.
"Let's spar a few moves with them. If they satisfy me, then I'll consider whether or not to have you join us."
"Okay, Second Brother."
Lin Yang responded, and several of his men rushed towards him one after another.
He deliberately concealed his strength, pretending to be rusty in combat, and skillfully dodged the opponent's attacks.
He would occasionally retaliate, but he didn't use much force when he hit his opponent.

When it was Ding Na's turn, she continued her unconventional persona, and her behavior became even more exaggerated.
She spun around, dodging the opponent's attacks, muttering words that no one could understand.

Ding Na dashed towards the henchmen on the left, her movements nimble, and she swept her long leg across them.
The henchmen were kicked and knocked off their feet in an instant.
Lin Yang clenched his fist and punched one of the men charging at him head-on. He then dodged another man's attack by turning to the side and delivered an elbow strike, knocking the man who had attacked him from behind to the ground.
Seeing that his men couldn't get close to the two men at all, and that several of them were knocked to the ground, groaning in pain.
The second-in-command took off his shirt, revealing a muscular physique covered in tattoos, and with a loud shout, lunged at Lin Yang.
Lin Yang looked at his strong physique and dared not let his guard down.
The second-in-command's attacks were fierce and powerful, but Lin Yang seemed to be very good at dodging, managing to dodge them every time.
Lin Yang punched him a few times, but it felt like hitting a metal plate.

"I've been in this underworld for so many years, and I've always been straightforward. Our Rock Gang really doesn't know anything about this Japanese group, and we've never had any dealings with them."
The second-in-command told the two that their gang's usual area of activity was only so big, and they were just doing small businesses, so there was no need for them to get involved with foreign forces.
