When Old Mrs. Huang came back from delivering goods again, she saw Aunt Xi and Aunt Eight standing at the door with a group of villagers.
"She's back. If you don't believe me, go ask her yourself."
Aunt Xi said happily with a proud smile on her face.
When Old Mrs. Huang saw this situation, she knew that Aunt Xi and her companions had no good intentions.
She asked coldly, "What do you want to do?"
Auntie Qi was very proud and crossed her arms over her chest, "Mrs. Huang, you are such a black-hearted person!"
"What's wrong?" Old Lady Huang's voice became even colder. "Oh my God, if you can't explain why, I'll tear your mouth apart!"
Auntie Qi then asked, "Then tell us how much is one pound of snails you give us?"
"What does it have to do with you?"
Old Mrs. Huang immediately knew what she was going to say, but she was not afraid.
Auntie Qian grinned from ear to ear, "You gave everyone two cents per pound, and later you and Qingyunlou charged three cents per pound! You didn't do anything, but you earned one cent per pound from everyone!"
As she spoke, she stretched out her hands and beckoned, "Everyone come and see, this old lady Huang is really evil-hearted."
As the commotion continued, more and more villagers gathered to watch.
Old Mrs. Huang smiled and said, "Yes, I did make a penny from every pound of meat, but the money should be mine!"
The eighth aunt replied, "Hey, what did you do? We all went down to the river with our families to fish for this fish. How can you be so shameless!"
Old Mrs. Huang slapped her twice, causing Eighth Aunt to cover her face and scream.
"Before I collected your snails, who among you had ever sold them for money? Those snails stayed in the river for hours and hours, and who among you had ever made money from them?"
No one said anything.
Auntie Qi looked at it and started to stir up trouble again: "That was before, but you are making money for everyone, that's not right!"
"What does the big guy think?"
Old Mrs. Huang asked the people around her.
No one said anything.
Old Mrs. Huang didn't want to let it go like this. Since no one said anything, they must have some objection.
Tian made everything clear all at once.
"Let me make it clear to you. If you feel that I am making a penny from you and you are losing money and are unhappy, it doesn't matter. From now on, you can do it and sell it yourself. Ten cents per pound is yours."
As she spoke, she took a few steps back and said, "Those who are willing to continue to follow me can stand behind me. Those who are not willing can leave."
Everyone stood behind Old Lady Huang.
Only Aunt Xi and a dozen other people stood still.
Auntie Xiao and Auntie Eight had never come here before, they just came here to cause trouble.
The other dozen or so people were bewitched by them and naively thought that they could make an extra penny per pound by selling them.
Third Aunt has a very good relationship with Old Lady Huang, and she firmly stands on Old Lady Huang's side.
"I say, Aunt Eight, Aunt Qi, and the rest of you, this is not the way to be a human being!"
The dozen or so people had originally kept silent, but now, hearing Third Auntie say this, the resentment in their hearts was completely aroused.
One of the middle-aged men said, "I don't believe it. Without Old Lady Huang, we won't be able to sell our snails!"
Auntie Xi immediately agreed, "That's right, the snails are in the river, they belong to everyone in the village, if you can catch them, we can too!"
Aunt Eight said, "You are a bunch of idiots. You are still following her around. You work hard to make money for other people!"
As she said this, a man left from behind Old Lady Huang and quickly joined Auntie Qian's team.
Old Lady Huang looked at him and sneered, "Huang Dabing, are you determined to follow them?"
Huang Dabing nodded immediately, "That's right, I want to join them, and then you won't be able to make a penny from me!"
Old Mrs. Huang nodded and was about to speak when she saw Muramasa coming over.
