Chapter 177: You want me to catch an adulterer even though I’m sick?
Lu Zhenzhu lay in bed, tossing and turning for half an hour and couldn't fall asleep.
She didn't know why, but she just couldn't calm down.
He found his phone on the bedside table and played with it for nearly twenty minutes. Then he got up, turned on the bedside lamp and went to the bathroom.

Special Assistant Li brought breakfast over and Lu Zhenzhu opened her eyes. When she stood up, her arms were numb and she hung in the air with her face wrinkled in pain.
She hissed.
Gu Huai held her arm and gently massaged it to relieve the numbness.
Lu Zhenzhu narrowed her eyes and looked at Assistant Li. "Why didn't you answer my call last night? How did you know Gu Huai and I were in the hospital?"
She wondered if Gu Huai was deliberately sick in order to act pitiful and gain sympathy?
Lu Zhenzhu turned her head and looked sharply at the man who was rubbing her arms.
Gu Huai remained expressionless, showing no emotion.
Special Assistant Li was a little embarrassed. "Madam, I was busy last night and didn't receive your call. I called you this morning and saw that your phone was turned off, so I called Aunt Zhang. From Aunt Zhang, I learned that you and Mr. Gu were in the hospital."
"Really?" Lu Zhenzhu scrutinized him. "Aren't you the special assistant on call 24 hours a day? You'll always answer Gu Huai's call."
Li Tezhu seemed to be hesitant to speak.

"You don't have to take care of me, but you have to stay with me."

"Madam, Mr. Gu got caught in the rain last night for you, so you should accompany him."

Gu Huai loosened his hand, peeled the still warm egg, broke it in the middle, took out the whole yolk, and gave her only the egg white.
