Chapter 31: Compromise once is enough
He smoked on one hand and she inhaled the second-hand smoke.
Lu Zhenzhu pinched her nose and said, "Put out your cigarette, it smells bad."

"I'm not a masochist."
Anger flashed across the man's handsome face. "You were the one who hurt Sese first. You caused her to lose her child. It's your duty to pray for her."
"I didn't push her..." Lu Zhenzhu subconsciously wanted to explain again, but then she remembered that she had explained it before, but he just didn't believe it.

Her provocative look made Gu Huai angry. His face turned cold and he turned around to get the tablet.
After finding those photos of Luqin, he edited the Weibo post and glared at her gloomily.
"Is it clear or not?"
Lu Zhenzhu clenched her back teeth, stood up suddenly, and stretched out her finger to touch the screen.
"If you want to send it, send it. I can help you."
The slender hand failed to successfully click send.
Gu Huai held her hand and stared at her with a dark look in his eyes.
The woman in front of him felt familiar yet strange to him.
She actually didn't care about Luqin's reputation.
"Don't you want to post it? Why are you stopping me from doing anything?" Lu Zhenzhu struggled and tried to click.
Gu Huai's face was extremely cold. Seeing her like this, he felt inexplicably uneasy. He turned off the tablet, shook off her hand, and left without looking back.
