Chapter 188 Flying Knife

Ye Panjiu said quickly, "Going to the East Gate and taking the main road is the fastest, but there is a sparsely populated area that is suitable for taking action."

The three of them had already turned into the alley. Su Yan squatted down in front of Ye Panjiu and said, "I'm faster than Heng Tong. Come on up."

Ye Panjiu didn't stand on ceremony and climbed onto his back. "I'll show you the way."

Su Yan reached back and supported Ye Panjiu's legs with both hands.

He was stunned for a moment; compared to his own legs, these were so much softer.

Su Yan lightly touched the ground with his toes and flew onto the roof.

"Go straight ahead, turn left after two streets," Ye Panjiu pointed with her finger.

Su Yan shot forward like an arrow released from a bow.

Heng Tong followed closely behind, somewhat with difficulty.

The adults are moving too fast.

Su Yan twitched his nostrils; the movement was so fast that Ye Panjiu's unique scent wafted over.

Although the situation was extremely urgent, he still felt a tightness in his throat as he felt the contact behind him.

The speeding carriage made a lot of noise.

"Get out of the way! Get out of the way if you don't want to die!" the driver shouted.

People walking on the street hurriedly gave way in fear.

Some of the slower-reacting individuals were knocked to the ground.

A fast horse leaped over his head again.

"Aaaaaaah!"

Screams were deafening.

That's why Su Yan and the other two never lost track of the carriage's movements.

"This is it!" Ye Panjiu exclaimed as soon as she saw it.

There is a charred house here, surrounded by empty houses. Looking out from the eaves, you can't see a single person.

Su Yan squatted down and put Ye Panjiu down. "Hengtong, you just need to protect Panjiu, I'll handle the rest."

As he spoke, six plum blossom throwing knives appeared in his hand.

Heng Tong replied, "Yes."

Ye Panjiu stood obediently; at this moment, not causing trouble meant not holding anyone back.

As the carriage drew closer, six throwing knives hurtled straight at his face.

The four people in front were unable to dodge in time and fell off their horses and died on the spot!

The two men then drew their swords to block the attack.

"Clang clang—"

Two metallic clangs rang out, piercingly loud.

The two throwing knives were returned to Su Yan's hands.

The two immediately leaped into the air, their toes barely touching the horse's back.

They all rushed towards this place in unison.

Ye Panjiu hid behind Heng Tong, looking at Su Yan with some worry.

With such skill in using throwing knives, wouldn't that leave you vulnerable in close combat...?

The driver pulled hard on the reins, and the two horses neighed and raised their front legs high.

Jiang Leyue, inside the carriage, crashed straight into the wooden plank.

The impact was extremely forceful, and a large bump immediately swelled up on his head.

"Can't you catch the train?! It hurts so much!" she yelled.

The driver, not paying her any attention, drew his large knife and honed it to a gleaming shine.

A flash of light passed through Ye Panjiu's eyes, and she raised her hand to shield them.

"Give me your life!"

Su Yan neither dodged nor evaded; he drew four throwing knives and thrust them toward the backs of the two men.

"Behind!" the driver roared.

The two quickly turned around, but it was too late.

Two throwing knives pierced through a man's chest.

The two looked down at their bodies, where blood splattered like flowers.

Ye Panjiu felt nauseous at the sight and looked at Heng Tong's back.

Heng Tong's back was tense, and he held a dagger in each hand, one higher than the other in front of him.

The driver stopped and refused to move forward. "Great skill, sir! Let's talk this out."

Life is precious. Although he is much more skilled than the other six, it is now three against one, and he will not underestimate his opponent.

Su Yan laughed and retrieved the six throwing knives. "Tell me about it."

The driver moved away, saying, "I don't know the girl in this carriage at all. You can do whatever you want with her, I'm leaving."

Su Yan looked at him and said calmly, "That's not a very good way to put it. Let's talk about Jiang Le'an."

The driver was taken aback; it turned out they were after Jiang Le'an.

“Great hero, this has nothing to do with me. I just got into trouble with the law. I heard that Jiang Le’an was kind and virtuous and was willing to take us in, so I came to seek refuge with him.”

Su Yan frowned, feeling that the driver wasn't very bright.

The driver felt a chill and shivered. He quickly continued, "Jiang Le'an asked me to take his sister to the north and send her a letter after she arrives."

Ye Panjiu asked, "Do you have a map of the Jiang residence? And where in the Jiang residence are you all assigned, and how is the shift work?"

The driver was sweating profusely; it seemed he wouldn't be able to return to the Jiang residence.

“I can draw it out. There are five positions: east, south, west, north, and center. There are five people in each team, making a total of ten teams. They take turns during the day and night.”

Ye Panjiu hadn't expected Jiang Le'an to be so cautious; supporting a hundred people would be extremely expensive.

This shows how many enemies he has made.

Su Yan said calmly, "Bury your brothers."

He walked to the carriage, which was already quiet inside.

Four throwing knives pierced through the four corners of the wooden board, moving at extremely high speed.

A short while later, the wooden plank collapsed, revealing Jiang Leyue inside the carriage.

Jiang Leyue looked at him in horror, "I..."

He was so scared that he couldn't even finish a sentence.

"Tell me what your older brother usually does, where he likes to go, and where he keeps his important things."

Four throwing knives spun and hovered in front of Jiang Leyue.

Ye Panjiu walked over curiously; she was quite intrigued by this sea beauty.

She does look incredibly pitiful when she cries, her delicate vulnerability drawing people in and making them want to protect her.

Jiang Leyue bit her lip hard, and large tears fell again. "I won't betray my older brother, just kill me!"

Su Yan and Ye Panjiu exchanged a glance.

What a loving brother and sister!

Su Yan said, "Heng Tong, knock her unconscious."
