Chapter 475: Conclusion: Read them all!

Chapter 475: Conclusion: Read them all!

December 31, 2024, it’s finally over!

Thank you all for sticking to the end. Of course, I also want to thank those who didn’t finish reading. Regardless of whether you have accompanied the author to this point or not, you are all good people.

Now that I have finished writing, I would like to talk to you about this book.

This book has a lot of flaws, but sometimes I have to write it.

The first complaint is that the author lacks common sense.

Well...it's indeed a fact. The author is just an ordinary person. There are many things he doesn’t understand and he has his own blind spots in common sense.

As it is set in the south, why is there ginseng in the mountains?

Well...is there no one in the South who is interested in ginseng?

Hahaha, I later saw a reader talking about this and learned that ginseng is a specialty of the North and is not found in the South.

I'm really, really sorry for making such a stupid mistake.

But it was a long time later that I saw Baozi comment on this matter. By then, it had already reached hundreds of thousands of words and was impossible to change. That's all there is to it.

There is also Hu La Tang, and the author did not have any personal agenda when writing this.

The main thing is that there are thousands of farming products on the market, and things like offal and ice jelly... have been used too much.

I really can't bear to write this anymore.

After much thought, I thought I could write about Hu La Tang, so I wrote about Hu La Tang.

To be honest, I have never eaten Hu La Tang. If I have the chance in the future, I will definitely try it.

In addition, there are various price issues, such as how much does it cost to buy bricks and tiles, how much does it cost to buy meat...

Well... because prices often changed in ancient times, just like our pork now, it may be 28 yuan per pound today, but it may become 20 yuan per pound after a while. It will change.

Therefore, we could only choose a price that we thought was in line with the society at that time.

I hope you will understand.

The second complaint is that the heroine discovered cassava and wanted the whole family to believe that she would handle the cassava issue.

Many people said that the heroine deliberately framed Jinhua.

But when the heroine first traveled through time, her interpersonal environment was too bad. She was anxious to change this, and if she wanted to do it quickly, she had to use some tricks.

The heroine wrongly accused others. There is no way to wash it off, and there is no need to wash it off.

But my real intention in writing this paragraph is to use this incident to smooth out the conflicts between Mrs. Du, Jinhua and the heroine, and then highlight Jinhua's hot temper.

When I was writing it, I hesitated because I knew that if I did, the heroine would definitely be scolded.

But if I don’t write about it, Jinhua’s personality won’t come out, which is a pity.

Finally, I think it is still worth writing it. Letting the heroine endure some criticism can improve the character's personality. It also makes the heroine more realistic.

The third point of criticism is the scene where the heroine fights with Li Jiaojiao for ginseng.

Many people asked, why didn’t the heroine dig the ginseng in advance? This will leave Li Jiaojiao empty-handed.

I originally planned to write it this way, but I prefer the plot where the heroine uses jade to cheat Li Jiaojiao out of the money she earned from selling ginseng.

So it was not written that the heroine dug ginseng in advance, and a reasonable explanation was also given.

The fourth complaint is the names of the heroine’s two daughters.

Many people say that their names sound like maids' names, are not serious, and have the same meaning as Zhaodi.

But...well...the author thinks it's okay. When I named them, I thought they were cute.

People like Zhao Linger and Huo Linger are obviously very cute and they look like heroines.

At that time, I thought that since I was a girl from a farm family, I didn’t want to come up with a name that was too fancy and literary, so I just wanted a simple and catchy name.

At that time, I also planned to call them Jinjin and Huanhuan, and also planned to call them Qingqing and Huanhuan, but later for some reason, I didn't use them.

As for Ye Jin and Ye Huan, they were also considered at that time. But when I think of the three boys, Ye Yong, Ye Xuan and Ye Peng, they all have single words.

Ye Jin and Ye Huan seem like brothers with Ye Yong and the others, so it is useless.

Also, I particularly like the word “欢”.

This is a matter of personal preference, I just think it's cute. Thinking that she is not the heroine, but the heroine's daughter, I want to follow my own preferences.

I didn’t expect everyone’s reaction to be so strong, hahaha.

The fifth point of criticism is about Ye Peng and Wei.

Many people have asked why the story of Wei and her son was written in a bad way, since the previous part was so good.

But when I started writing, I had already set the personalities and endings of all the characters.

Wei's character setting is that the barking dog never bites. The reason why he seemed not a bad guy before was because he was poor and his only worry was having enough food. And it was always Mrs. Du who took the lead, while she hid behind and reaped the benefits.

And I've been explaining their personalities very early on.

For example, in Chapter 30, the heroine bought cloth for her family, but Mrs. Du thought it was too much and quickly refused.

Wei wrote, "Seeing this, Wei was too embarrassed to ask for it." Naturally, her real thought was to spend more of her sister-in-law's money and buy more cloth.

She just didn't dare to say anything because she saw Mrs. Du had spoken.

Most of the time, she kept silent, and when Mrs. Du spoke, she could only obey Mrs. Du's decision, otherwise her bad intentions would be exposed.

There are really a lot of details like this, both explicit and implicit.

That was all in the early days. A book had over a million words, and people would start writing about character traits in the first hundred thousand words. There was no such thing as a sudden change. There is no intentional writing of her in a bad light.

The same goes for Ye Peng.

His selfishness was evident from the moment he made his official appearance.

For example, when Jin'er and Huan'er shared candy, Jinhua was unwilling to eat it. Ye Peng took some candy to Jinhua's room and asked Jinhua to calm down.

Everyone praises him as a good boy, but that's only because everyone sees him from the heroine's perspective.

But from Jinhua's perspective, Ye Peng didn't have any back pain just by standing and talking.

One is my cousin whom I have lived with for more than ten years, and the other is my cousin whom I only see a few times a year.

In order to help the cousin he liked, he hurt his cousin's heart, which was a very selfish behavior.

In this situation, he should actually remain silent.

Instead of hurting your cousin just to please your sweetheart.

If he wants to please his sweetheart, he can just do it himself. Why should you take the golden flower as a favor?

Besides this, there are many more things to come.

Reading and stuff like that.

Of course, he also has good sides, such as being a sunny, cheerful and funny big boy.

As long as his interests are not affected, he will always be sunny and cheerful.

But once it is touched, all its true colors will be revealed.

In addition, there are Erquan, Wei Xiaojuan and others.

Anyway, the character's personality is consistent with my initial setting.

There are also Shen Zhiyan, Manman... Every character in this book, when it comes to the ending, I feel that they are written as they were originally designed, and their personalities have not deviated from the original.

This is what I am most satisfied with. Every character is exactly as I imagined, without any distortion.

Thank yourself!

Thank you to my darlings who have always been with me!

I am also grateful to every character I created, who worked so hard to bring them to life on paper!

Finally, I wish you all a happy New Year. In 2025, all the babies will become rich! Very beautiful! Very handsome! healthy! May all go well with you!

Best regards, love you! See you again if we are lucky!
