Jiang Ying was furious: "How could such a thing happen!"
"It's all in the past."
"No wonder the Eighth Prince dotes on you so much; he must be blind." Jiang Ying was furious, wishing she could go and confront Zhao Zhiyan.
Song Yue smiled and said, "He already knew the truth a while ago."
"Then why indulge Xu Lingqing in every way?"

It was quiet outside.
The banquet was held as usual, but no more invitations were sent to her, and even the two princes did not come to the Eighth Prince's residence to see her.
The longer it went on, the more uneasy Xu Lingqing felt.
"Have the two princes sent anyone to inquire about this matter these past few days?" she asked.
The maid shook her head: "No."
"How could this be?" She didn't believe it, suspecting that they had been intercepted by Zhao Zhiyan's men. She summoned the steward for questioning: "Why did you drive away the people sent by the two princes and confiscate their belongings? How dare you!"
The steward looked bewildered: "Your Highness, this old servant did not see the two princes send anyone. Even if you gave me ten lives, I wouldn't dare."
Xu Lingqing slammed her hand on the table and stood up: "You still dare to lie!"
The steward knelt on the ground with a thud, crying out that he was innocent: "Your Highness, please forgive me, this old servant truly has never seen the two princes send anyone here."
Hearing the housekeeper say this, Xu Lingqing truly panicked.
Being stopped is one thing, but never actually being there is quite another.
She couldn't sit still any longer, and pursed her lips: "Prepare the carriage, I need to go out for a while."

Unexpectedly, she left the Eighth Prince's mansion without any trouble.
No one stopped them.

"Eighth Princess Consort, the two princes moved five days ago. It's not far, just one street in the backyard," the shopkeeper pointed in the direction.
Xu Lingqing didn't linger. She got into the carriage and headed to her destination. When she arrived, she discovered that the Linghu residence was right next door to this mansion.
Her eyelids twitched.
Just when you fear something, it happens. Miss Linghu walks towards you, chatting and laughing with her maid. Her smile is radiant, and she has the shyness of a young girl. Every now and then, she raises her hand to touch the hairpin in her hair.
A ruby hairpin accentuated her fair complexion, making her exceptionally beautiful.
“Miss, isn’t that the Eighth Prince’s Consort?” the maid pointed.
Miss Linghu raised her eyes, raised her long eyebrows, and looked Xu Lingqing up and down with disdain and contempt in her eyes.
Xu Lingqing was furious.
