Chapter 22 Seeing Through the Scheme



"Third, why did you want to harm me, Third Miss?"

Song Yue looked down at her, a mocking smile playing on her lips: "The Shen Family Garden isn't in this direction at all. You were asked to lure me away; there must be a trap waiting for me ahead."

Having her thoughts guessed, the maid's face turned pale, and she stammered, "Third Miss, you've misunderstood. I was just leading you on a shortcut."

"If you're unwilling to talk about it, then forget it." Song Yue turned around and walked back, not daring to take another step forward.

In this unfamiliar place, she hadn't yet grasped the situation, and had no chance of winning.
