And it's new tea.
The fact that Huo Yun used such precious tea to entertain his guests shows that the Huo family is not as impoverished as it appears.
Princess Jiahua took a couple of sips and put the bottle down. She picked up a handkerchief and gently wiped her lips, waiting silently. While the Seventh Prince and Huo Yun were chatting, she glanced around. There was still a faint scent of pear blossoms in the air.
When the old lady Huo did not arrive, Princess Jiahua turned to Huo Yun and said, "Could you have a servant take me to see the old lady? Perhaps I can help her look for her."
Before Huo Yun could refuse, the Seventh Prince nodded.
Huo Yun had no choice but to have his servant lead Princess Jia Hua away.
In fact, she was no stranger to the Huo family. In her previous life, everything she planned should have been foolproof, but she miscalculated the second prince and Huo Xi.
So she was not resigned to it and came to the Huo family to find out everything about them.

The servant nodded truthfully.
"May I go and take a look?" Princess Jiahua asked.
The servant immediately shook his head: "No, no one is allowed to enter that courtyard, Your Highness, please don't make things difficult for your servant."
Why?
"This servant...this servant doesn't know." The servant's face was full of fear.
Princess Jia Hua did not make things difficult for the servant and continued walking forward. Halfway there, Old Madam Huo came out and stopped her: "This must be the Seventh Prince's Consort. I have long admired your name."
"Madam Huo."
"Seventh Prince's Consort, this is the only copy of this classic text." Old Madam Huo presented it with both hands.
Princess Jiahua had no reason to linger any longer, so she had to take the scriptures back. When the Seventh Prince saw the scriptures, he asked Huo Yun to prepare his calligraphy so that he could copy them on the spot.
Huo Yun didn't dare to delay and quickly sent people to clean up the study next door before inviting the Seventh Prince over.
The seventh prince voluntarily copied scriptures.
This copying took two hours.
By the time he finished copying, it was already dark. He handed the scripture to Princess Jia Hua for a look, and she glanced at it quickly and nodded, "Excellent."
When the two were leaving, Huo Yun and Madam Huo personally escorted them to the door and did not return until they boarded their carriage.
"Your Highness, I overheard two maids talking about delivering food to the eldest son of the Huo family. Who is General Huo's eldest son?" Princess Jiahua asked curiously.
The Seventh Prince frowned: "Did you hear wrong? General Huo's eldest son is Huo Xi, and he is not in Jincheng."
“Is that so?” Princess Jiahua curled her lips and said, “I used to have a grove of pear trees in my courtyard, with a wonderful fragrance. I really liked those pear trees in the Huo family’s courtyard. It’s a pity that they weren’t in my own home.”
Princess Jia Hua then asked, "Would Your Highness be willing to buy the courtyard next to the Huo family's house?"
“That’s not difficult. I can send someone to inquire.”
"Thank you, Your Highness."
The two returned to their residence close to midnight, and after a quick wash, they went to bed.
That night, the Huo couple tossed and turned, unable to sleep. For several years, no one had paid attention to the Huo family. The Seventh Prince's sudden visit caught the Huo couple completely off guard.
"Could it be a coincidence?"
"How can there be so many coincidences in this world?" Huo Yun shook his head: "The Seventh Prince has just returned and holds great power. We cannot offend him for the time being."
Madam Huo pondered for a moment: "The Seventh Prince's wife is quite troublesome; we must be careful."

The next morning
Before entering the palace, the Seventh Prince encountered Princess Jia Hua in the garden. She looked even weaker, and he asked with concern, "It's still early, why don't you sleep a little longer?"

The Seventh Prince nodded: "You can make the decision yourself regarding such a trivial matter."
After seeing off the Seventh Prince, Princess Jia Hua took the Seventh Prince's token and went to the military camp. She wandered around for a while but did not see General Zuo.
Just as she was feeling disappointed, she heard a loud howl.
Princess Jia Hua turned her head with delight and, sure enough, saw a familiar face: General Zuo!
General Zuo patrolled the crowd with a long sword in his hand, his face stern, making everyone who saw him lower their heads. His gaze met Princess Jia Hua's eyes, and his brows furrowed.
"General Zuo."
General Zuo had met Princess Jiahua, but he never liked to interact with women, especially the seemingly delicate Princess Jiahua.
"Princess Consort." Out of respect for the Seventh Prince, he still bowed respectfully.
Princess Jia Hua raised her long eyebrows: "I'll select a few personal guards."
From here?
"yes."
General Zuo's brows were furrowed so deeply they were almost knotted together.
"I have heard that General Zuo is extremely loyal and is Your Highness's most capable right-hand man. Your Highness's achievements today are largely due to General Zuo's contributions."
Princess Jia Hua's words eased the general's brow. Then she added, "Your Highness is loyal and kind-hearted. I will definitely persuade Your Highness not to relinquish military power and to protect the soldiers."
It took a full hour of talking to change General Zuo's disdain for women.
Every word struck a chord with General Zuo.
"General Zuo, I have a list here. Take it and investigate it carefully, but don't alert the enemy. If you trust me, don't disturb His Highness for now."
