Chapter 177 Hot Air Balloons Reappear

Zhan Qin would never be in the mood to talk about anything else, but since they were talking about Chu Jinjin, he answered without hesitation, "Of course I've seen her."

Black Dragon was pleased to have found a topic that interested him: "Really? What does she look like?"

Everyone has someone they admire. In Heilong's heart, he wouldn't say he idolizes Chu Jinjin, but she is a woman he respects.

“Miss Chu is very beautiful, but she rarely shows her face in public. She is very gentle and kind.” Speaking of his beloved woman, Zhan Qin almost couldn’t stop talking. “Otherwise, how could so many outstanding men admire her, such as the current emperor and Prince Mu of the Northern Desert?”

Black Dragon was so shocked he almost forgot to row: "Your Majesty also likes Miss Jinjin?"

Zhan Qin nodded, unconvinced, and said, "Of course, it's no secret. You can find out by sending someone to inquire carefully."

Heilong, deeply in love, believed everything he was told. He sighed, "I really want to meet her if I have the chance. Such an extraordinary woman. It's a pity she was forced to go to the Northern Desert for a political marriage."

He could figure out the reasoning behind it himself.

Zhan Qin really wanted to tell him: You'll see him soon!

Moreover, I am Chu Jinjin's man!

Of course, you can only shout it in your heart.

Black Dragon then thought of something else: "Brother Zhan, I didn't realize you knew about national affairs. Have you ever heard of zombies?"

Zhan Qin's attitude turned cold: "I've never heard of it."

If we don't talk about his Jinjin, what else is there to talk about?

Chu Jinjin watched as Heilong led Zhan Qin towards the sea, then quietly slipped out of the crowd and sped towards the nearest mountain range.

Hot air balloons were already prepared there.

The view from above was unobstructed, and for this project, Chu Jinjin even temporarily created a simple telescope—based on a very simple principle, using crystal instead of glass.

"Chief, Miss Chu, I've been keeping an eye on it the whole time. This thing is amazing!" The fat and thin brothers were involved in the operation. The fat brother spoke, excitedly handing the binoculars to Chu Jinjin and pointing in a direction, "They went in that direction."

The brothers' admiration for Chu Jinjin was beyond words. The things they made were more and more astonishing. Take this telescope, for example; it could see so far. It would be much more convenient when they were gathering military intelligence in the future.

Chu Jinjin glanced at it quickly and urged, "Light the fire!"

She was very anxious, in case that black dragon did something.

Flames roared as the hot air balloon soared into the sky. Although it rose from the mountains, it was inevitable that it would go unnoticed once it reached a certain height.

It doesn't matter anymore. The Black Dragon is far from the coast and can't be notified. As long as he can't see it, that's fine.

The hot air balloon continued to rise until it reached a sufficient altitude, at which point it began to slowly move towards the direction of the black dragon.

Today's hot air balloons are blue, blending perfectly with the blue sky; unless you're really looking for them, they're hard to spot.

Zhan Qin, who had been secretly observing, breathed a sigh of relief and lazily asked, "Boss Black Dragon, how much further?"

Black Dragon chuckled and said, "Is Zhan Lang getting impatient? We'll be there soon, and I'll give you a big surprise."

It was indeed a pleasant surprise.

Even someone as knowledgeable as Zhan Qin was shocked when he saw the enormous warships anchored on the sea.

This was the largest ship he had ever seen, three stories high, as big as a small house or a tiny castle, with huge crossbows mounted at the bow and stern.

As the small boat carrying the black dragon approached, the crew slowly lowered the ladder.

Black Dragon climbed up first, completely relieved. Now that he was here, it didn't matter what purpose Zhan Qin had. He was the king here. No matter how powerful Zhan Qin was, could he defeat the hundreds of elite subordinates on the ship?

As for reinforcements, they were of no use.

This warship has been continuously improved over the years, and no other ship can rival it.

Someone can't just fall from the sky, can they?

Black Dragon stretched out his hand: "Zhan Lang, be careful."

Zhan Qin ignored him and calmly climbed onto the boat.

Black Dragon didn't mind his attitude at all; on the contrary, he felt even more aroused and loudly gave the order: "Brothers, prepare a table of the best food and wine to welcome my Zhan Lang back."

Zhan Qin looked up and saw a hot air balloon that looked like a small bird. He said calmly, "Boss Black Dragon, I'm a little seasick. Could you find me a room so I can rest for a while?"

His final task was to find a safe place to hide.

Black Dragon hesitated for a moment, but still agreed, and casually pointed to one of his men: "Take Zhan Lang to my room."

I have my doubts, but as I said before, this is a place I've lived in for many years, surrounded by the vast ocean. I really can't think of anything to worry about.

At that moment, Chu Jinjin was holding up binoculars under the sky.

It was manufactured in a rush, and the lenses weren't refined enough, so the vision is blurry.

On the deck, the henchmen watched Zhan Qin's figure disappear and congratulated their boss.

They realized that this man was no ordinary person; their boss liked him very much.

Amidst laughter and cheers, someone finally spotted the unidentified object in the sky.

At first I thought it was a bird, but then something was strange, as it seemed to be constantly landing.

Having locked onto the warship's location, there was no need to conceal anything anymore. Chu Jinjin was filled with murderous intent, holding two long steel blades in her hands. She was going to be the first to jump down and have a good time.

The henchmen were still unaware of the danger, but their attention was diverted, and they began to discuss what it was.

"It's flickering, it looks like a flame."

"Round, not like a bird."

"It's getting bigger and bigger. Strange, why is it moving so slowly?"

They didn't have telescopes, so all they could see at that moment was a rough outline.

As the hot air balloon descended lower and lower, the view became clearer, revealing bamboo baskets and faint human figures.

The henchmen looked at each other, unsure of how to respond.

people?

Is someone flying in the sky?

Black Dragon reacted the fastest, letting out a low growl: "Damn it, archers, aim for me now!"

Whatever it is, it's not a good thing. They're after him. Fortunately, it seems there aren't many people in the bamboo basket, maybe a dozen or so.

The archers immediately aimed at the sky, waiting for sufficient range.

Then, another accident occurred.

A small figure suddenly jumped down from the bamboo basket.

Black Dragon: "......."

The henchmen: "..."

At that height, even falling into the sea would be fatal, right? What is he doing? Suicide?

Hot air balloons have an aerial advantage and are equipped with bows and arrows, but the people on board can easily hide. However, as they approach landing altitude, if they are hit by arrows, the hot air balloon has little defensive capability.

Amidst the shocked and bewildered gazes of the crowd, a pure white flower suddenly bloomed above the small figure's head, and the figure seemed to be pulled back by something, slowing down its descent.

Black Dragon gasped, "What is this thing?"

He waved to the archers, signaling them not to fire their arrows immediately.

He's just one person, there's nothing to be afraid of.
