At dinner time, Gan Lin still hadn't come out. Old Mrs. Gan called him through the door, but he angrily replied:
"I won't eat! You all disliked my mother and me anyway, so now that my mother is gone, you'll only be satisfied if you let me starve to death!"
When Gan Mingyi returned after seeing Sun off, he overheard his son's outrageous words, and his anger flared up immediately!

Unfortunately, she was now living under someone else's roof and dared not retaliate. She could only silently wipe away her tears, her resentment towards Gan Mingyi growing even stronger.
When Gan Lin arrived, it was already dark. Seeing that his mother had been wronged, he shouted that he would seek justice for her.
Upon hearing this, Sun's sister-in-law flew into a rage, pointing at Sun and cursing her, saying that it was bad enough that she had come back to sponge off her parents' family, but now she wanted to bring her son along too.
The argument raged until midnight, at which point the Sun family's elder brother and sister-in-law kicked the mother and son out of their home, and no one knows where they went.
