Chapter 18 Finding Ways to Make Money

She hadn't felt it before, but now, looking at the bowl in front of her, she felt incredibly hungry. She couldn't say anything and immediately took a sip of soup.

The deliciousness of the fish soup combined with the refreshing taste of the pickled cabbage creates a refreshing and appetizing flavor. Although it's a bit hot after one bite, it warms you up from head to toe.

Take another bite of the fish; the delicate flesh melts in your mouth, with a slightly charred aroma, and you won't taste any fishiness at all.

The taste was surprisingly good!

Gan Tian buried her head in her sweet drink, and Gan Li also ate with great pleasure—although there were no seasonings, only oil and salt, the taste of this wild fish, which was unpolluted in ancient times, was simply amazing!

Gan Tian caught a lot of fish, and Gan Li was generous, cooking all of them and making a big pot of stew.

The two were starving, so they drank the soup in the pot clean, one bowl after another. They were so full that they left the porridge that Ganli had cooked earlier.

"Perfect, we can heat it up and drink it tomorrow morning."

Gantian nodded, and the two of them cleaned up the mess in the kitchen together. They boiled some water, washed up hastily, and then lay down on the kang (a heated brick bed).

After a long day of activity, both of them were exhausted and fell into a deep sleep as soon as they got into bed. They thought they were going to get a good night's rest, but to their surprise, it started raining in the middle of the night!

This thatched hut is very old. Although it was repaired today, there are still many leaks in the roof, and even the kang (a heated brick bed) is mostly wet.

The mother and daughter had no choice but to huddle together in a corner and manage to fall asleep.

Gan Tian is still young and was too tired today, so she fell asleep again in no time, but Gan Li couldn't fall asleep no matter what.

In her previous life, she was a big blogger who could afford to live in a large apartment. But after transmigrating, not only did she lose her apartment, she was also reduced to living in a thatched hut that leaks when it rains.

This is absolutely intolerable!

No, she has to think of a way to make money.
