Chapter 269 Welcome Back (1/2)

When Fu Jingchen saw her like this, he wanted to hold her hand.

But before he could move, Fu Haitang in the inner room heard the noise and ran out.

"Sister-in-law, are you awake?"

Jiang Yuman certainly couldn't flirt in front of her sister-in-law. She looked at her in surprise and said, "Haitang, how long have you been here?"

"I came when you were sleeping." Fu Haitang clapped his hands.

Looking at Xiaoyi sleeping in his sister-in-law's arms with a red mark on his face, she gently tapped him with her finger, "You are naughty and disobedient."

Fu Siyi opened his eyes and looked at his aunt, not understanding what she was saying.

"From now on, you must sleep well at night and don't make any noise. If you disturb my sister-in-law's sleep, I will beat you." Fu Haitang's threat was not very fierce.

After hearing this, the confused Jiang Yuman finally understood what was going on.

She turned her head and glanced at Fu Jingchen.

The other party obviously did not feel guilty about letting his own son take the blame, and even smiled at her.

Jiang Yuman retracted her gaze and glanced at Fu Jingchen. "Our Xiaoyi is the best behaved and never disturbs my sleep."

The person who had delayed her sleep and lied to her with such words was standing next to them.

Unfortunately, Fu Haitang was too naive and just thought that his sister-in-law loved her nephew and didn't think too much about it.

And just like that, the three of them went out together, chatting and laughing.

Fu Jingchen went to throw away the garbage, while Fu Haitang and Jiang Yuman sat in the yard to eat breakfast.

The garbage dump was not far away, and when Fu Jingchen arrived, the two had not finished eating.

"Brother, how long will it take us to get to the train station today?" Fu Haitang was so excited that he couldn't sleep the whole night. After he finally finished his work, he asked about the departure time again.

"I'll be there after dinner." Fu Jingchen washed his hands, sat down, picked up the eggs in the bowl and peeled them for Jiang Yuman.

After peeling it, he handed it over very naturally.

Seeing this scene, even though Fu Haitang was used to his brother and sister-in-law's clinginess, he secretly shook his neck.

Fortunately, she was calm and soon started chattering about other things.

While Fu Jingchen agreed with her, Jiang Yuman took a few bites of the eggs, staring at Xiaoyi in her arms, her saliva almost dripping.

This greedy little cat made the three adults laugh.

Jiang Yuman quickly broke off some and fed him. After he finished eating, she took the child in to change clothes.

Fu Jingchen also followed in, helped Xiaoyi put on his clothes, and tidied the bed sheets.

Jiang Yuman buttoned her clothes while looking at him in the mirror. "Fu Jingchen, rub your son's shoulders."

Fu Jingchen looked at Fu Siyi who was crawling on the bed, and didn't understand why she said that.

"Our Xiaoyi, who is only a kid, has taken the blame for you. As a father, why don't you give him some sympathy?"

Whenever Jiang Yuman thought of Fu Haitang's words, she felt angry and amused.

She clearly said it was just a joke last night, but later...the one who was in the wrong should clean up the house by himself, and she put the blame on her son.

She was really convinced.

Unfortunately, Fu Siyi didn't know what his mother said. When he heard her words, he looked up and called Fu Jingchen "Dad".

The sound is crisp and loud.

Fu Jingchen looked at his lovely son and reached out to touch his furry head.

"This kid," Jiang Yuman held his forehead, "just laughs foolishly."

As he spoke, Fu Jingchen had already walked to her side and put his hands on her shoulders.

"do what?"

"You worked hard last night. Let me rub it for you." Fu Jingchen's voice came from behind, deep and pleasant.

Jiang Yuman said with a hint of meaning, "It wasn't me who worked hard last night."

As soon as these words came out, a light laugh was heard behind him.

Hearing his laughter, Jiang Yuman realized something and felt a little embarrassed for a moment.

As the old saying goes, there are only cows that die of exhaustion, but no land that is damaged by plowing.
