Chapter 581 You are Wang Jin?

"What...do you want to do?" Wang Jin was taken aback.

"If Jinluo City is truly as impregnable as you say, then I will risk all my good fortune and luck to slaughter this city." Ye Xingchen's tone was domineering yet resolute: "I do this not for anything else, but for my father, Ye Jinyu, who perished here twenty years ago."

Wang Jin stared at Ye Xingchen in surprise, dropping the cigarette in his hand to the ground.

He brushed the cigarette ash off his clothes and looked directly at Ye Xingchen: "Do you know the consequences of doing this?"

"I know, it's nothing more than going against the organization behind Jinluo City." Ye Xingchen smiled: "It doesn't matter. A real man stands between heaven and earth, and his purpose is to do something extraordinary."

"To destroy a city for one person, and incidentally remove this cancerous tumor, wouldn't that be better?"

"You're a real man, I admire you." Wang Jin gave Ye Xingchen a thumbs up: "Okay, since you've decided on this, I'll apply to my superior to fully cooperate with you."

“Huang Tai is currently in Yun City. He is Jin Xiang’s confidant. What do you plan to do?” Wang Jin asked.

"Let's meet him," Ye Xingchen said, uttering only a few words.

“He has many skilled fighters around him; in a way, he represents Jinluo City.” Wang Jin nodded: “I’m actually here today on orders to kill you.”

"So how are you going to go back and explain yourself now?" Ye Xingchen asked.

“Simple. Ten kilometers ahead, there are men I’ve arranged lying in ambush. Just kill them and severely injure me, isn’t that enough?” Wang Jin said calmly.

"You've been seriously injured? That wouldn't be good?" Ye Xingchen was taken aback.

"It's alright, I'm already used to it." Wang Jin smiled faintly, "It's settled then."

On one side of a quiet highway, a dump truck overturned in the middle of the road, completely blocking it.

Meanwhile, in a dense forest on one side of the road, a group of fully armed mercenaries were already hiding.

The leader, a burly man, was holding an AK47 and staring intently straight ahead.

The two people next to him were even holding 60mm rocket launchers, which also have another name: bazooka.

"Jim, I heard this time we're facing a master, a martial artist from China." A foreigner with a mustache stubbed out his cigarette. "Are you confident?"

"Heh, snipers, automatic rifles, bazookas—with such powerful firepower, even Western powerhouses would be wiped out by a single shot." The leading foreigner sneered. "Let alone Chinese martial artists? Can those Chinese who only know how to use their fists withstand our overwhelming firepower?"

Jim's understanding of Chinese martial arts was limited to Bruce Lee's movies, and he thought that the boss making them carry such powerful weapons was like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

The equipment these six men have is enough to raid an entire company, but now they're using it to deal with a Chinese man who only knows a little bit of hand-to-hand combat.

"Huang Tai is being so cautious this time; the opponent must be exceptional." The man with the mustache called the sniper over the walkie-talkie with some unease: "Hamke, are you ready?"

"Your eyes and ears are in position." From a high vantage point, a sniper, already camouflaged and chewing gum, said, "Guys, don't be nervous."

Just then, a car came speeding by.

"They're here." Everyone tensed up, staring intently ahead.

This was the same car Ye Xingchen had been driving. It was now moving forward at a constant speed of 70 km/h, and it didn't slow down even when it saw the overturned dump truck in front of it.

Everyone watched as the car crashed into the overturned dump truck with a loud bang.

"Get him..." Jim gave the order and fired the first shot.

The sounds of automatic weapons filled the air, and after a hail of bullets, a bazooka blasted the car to smithereens.

"Is it really that simple?" Jim stood up and laughed. "We went through all that trouble to transport these weapons, and all we got was some small fry."

"Is that so? In your eyes, I'm just a nobody?" A cold voice rang in the ears of the six people, and they were all taken aback.

Before they could react, suddenly, with a soft "plop," a Southeast Asian man had his throat slit.

"Fire!" someone shouted, and the remaining five men unleashed a torrent of bullets forward.

However, they couldn't see where the enemy was at all.

After firing a magazine, everyone quickly reloaded and then focused intently on the woods in the night.

"I'll give you a chance. You can escape. If anyone is still alive within five minutes, I'll let you go. How about it?" A figure suddenly appeared in front of them. It was Ye Xingchen, their target for the day.

"Kill him..." At her command, Ji's mother fired her gun again.

Another burst of firepower erupted, but Ye Xingchen's figure had already vanished.

"Retreat, retreat immediately, Hamk, cover us, cover our retreat." Jim turned and retreated, the group scattering into the woods, while he pressed his earpiece to call the snipers hidden in the shadows.

However, the sniper remained lying motionless on the spot, a sharp pebble already embedded in his forehead. The sniper was now completely lifeless.

These mercenaries came from war-torn regions; they were organized in both offense and defense, and even their retreat was methodical.

The group quickly broke up and disappeared into the woods, each fleeing in a different direction.

However, for Ye Xingchen, the hunt had only just begun.

*Thud*... A tree branch pierced through a mercenary's neck, and the guy fell straight down.

"Little Beckham, answer me, answer if you hear me?" Jim yelled into the earpiece, but there was no sound.

Then came another scream; his deputy had collapsed to the ground somewhere.

Meanwhile, a loud bang echoed from the other side, and a huge explosion, accompanied by a wave of warm heat, swept over. It was clear that the short-haired guy holding the bazooka had been attacked.

However, his rocket launcher did not cause much damage to the enemy. Instead, after a scream, he fell silent.

Jim dared not linger there any longer. He then realized that movies were truly harmful; the martial arts depicted in films and television dramas were not true martial arts at all. He gripped his Desert Eagle tightly and quickly fled into the depths of the forest.

This guy is a genuine Delta Force veteran who once ventured into the Amazon rainforest alone for a week to survive, fighting crocodiles in the water and pythons in the trees. He has an exceptionally strong survival ability and willpower.

But here today, he felt an unprecedented fear, because his enemies were hiding in some unknown corner, slaughtering his teammates.
