Chapter 21 The Highest Bidder Wins

The other one is priced similarly.

Lu Peng laughed heartily, unfolded the slip of paper in his hand, and read: 180 million.

"Hahaha, this thing is mine now, you two, have nothing to say?" Lu Peng laughed heartily.

"Mr. Lü is generous." The two sighed helplessly, accepting their loss.

The antique was naturally handed over to Lü Peng. Zhou An's face turned ugly. He glanced at Ye Xingchen with a sinister look and turned to leave.

After deducting the 10 million yuan auction fee from Gu Yu Zhai, Ye Xingchen earned 170 million yuan from the credit card transaction.

Ye Xingchen glanced at his bank balance, his expression calm and composed. "Well, this is just the beginning. In the future, I will create a wealthy family that belongs to me, Ye Xingchen."

"Haha, brother, thank you so much. My name is Lü Peng, and this is my business card. Don't forget to contact me if you find anything good in the future." Lü Peng laughed heartily.

“Okay, but Mr. Lü, you don’t look too well. Have you been experiencing frequent heart cramps lately, and sometimes you feel nauseous and gag, and your face is yellowish?” Ye Xingchen asked.

"You know what, I've actually been experiencing some of those symptoms lately." Lu Peng frowned.

He usually has a lot of social engagements, with drinking parties almost every day, so he was feeling a bit unwell, but he didn't pay much attention to it.

Only after Ye Xingchen said that did he realize it.

"Your heart blood is blocked, and your vital energy is depleted. You need to be careful, as a sudden attack can be fatal." Ye Xingchen left these words calmly and turned to leave.

"What do you mean?" Lu Peng was taken aback, but Ye Xingchen had already walked away.

"Brother Ye, you're a god! You turned a few thousand yuan into 170 million yuan, holy crap!" Ning Xin was practically going crazy.

Although he is not short of money, he has never encountered a situation where he made a hundred or two hundred million in one go.

This person in front of me is absolutely amazing; every move he makes is bound to be extraordinary.

"There's only one bargain in the entire antique market," Ye Xingchen laughed. "The truly valuable items have already been bought and collected, so the antique business is getting harder and harder. I'm not always this lucky."

“Then you are my idol too, shall I become your disciple?” Ning Xin said earnestly.

"I'll pass on the apprenticeship, I want to start my own business, and I need your help with some things," Ye Xingchen said after thinking for a moment.

“No problem. What’s our relationship? By the way, what kind of business does Brother Ye want to get into?” Ning Xin asked.

"Traditional Chinese medicine," Ye Xingchen uttered.

Yes, his lineage contains hundreds of ancient prescriptions.

Records document everything from minor foot pains to cardiovascular diseases and even incurable ailments.

Since he has inherited the legacy, he should use it to benefit all people. This is the ancestral precept passed down through generations, which is why Ye Xingchen decided to do this.

"Traditional Chinese medicine? Brother Ye, are you sure? The market for traditional Chinese medicine has always been lukewarm, it's quite difficult." Ning Xin was taken aback.

"Moreover, Chinese people generally believe that traditional Chinese medicine is slow to take effect, so they generally do not choose prepared Chinese medicines."

"Then let's change the mindset of the Chinese people." Ye Xingchen smiled slightly.

“Okay, Brother Ye, if you need anything, just contact me and I'll help you with the paperwork.” Ning Xin nodded.

After parting ways with Ning Xin, Ye Xingchen wandered around the antique street again, but as expected, he didn't find anything. It seems that good luck doesn't come often.

Reaching a corner where there was no road ahead, Ye Xingchen turned to leave, but Zhou An and several others surrounded him.

“Ye Xingchen.” Zhou An’s face was filled with hostility.

"What are you doing? Is something wrong?" Ye Xingchen asked back.

"Heh, you just made 180 million at the antique shop. You're making money pretty fast, aren't you?" Zhou An sneered. "My buddies are short on cash lately. Let them have a good chat with you."

"Got it, robbery?" Ye Xingchen laughed: "Zhou An, you fake rich kid, you really are capable of anything."

"Enough talk, hand over the money. After we pull this off, we can make a living." A bald man grinned and pulled out a dagger.

"Brothers, don't hold back. Today, we'd better make sure this kid never has a word to say again," Zhou An said viciously.

Zhou An's uncle wasn't in legitimate business either. Two of the three burly men in front of him were wanted criminals who had committed all sorts of evil deeds, including child trafficking, kidnapping, and extortion.

"Don't worry, Boss Zhou, cut off his tongue, I guarantee he won't be able to speak." The bald man grinned and suddenly pounced on Ye Xingchen.

Ye Xingchen suddenly delivered a powerful slap, knocking the bald man to the ground.

Before he could get up, Ye Xingchen quickly stepped forward and stomped down hard.

The bald man let out a pig-like scream, the intense pain in his thigh making him see stars.

Ye Xingchen leaped up, his palm whistling out. Crack! Accompanied by a scream, one of the people had his two arms forcibly twisted behind his back.

They moved like the wind, and in no time at all, the bald man's men were forced into retreat, unable to fight back.

"That's it?" Ye Xingchen dusted himself off, sneered, and walked towards Zhou An.

"Ye Xingchen, what do you want to do? Stop right there, let's talk this out." Zhou An was so frightened that he kept backing away.

"Zhou An, shouldn't we settle our scores?" Ye Xingchen grabbed his collar and slammed him against the wall.

"Brother Ye, we...we don't really have much of a grudge, don't be like this." Zhou An's bones immediately softened.

“Yes, actually we don’t have much of a grudge. Li Li is a gold digger, so it’s fine if you slept with her.” Ye Xingchen said calmly, “I should thank you for letting me see her true colors.”

"Yes, yes, that kind of scumbag doesn't deserve it." Zhou An breathed a sigh of relief.

"But you've caused me trouble time and time again, and today you even hired someone to rob me because you saw the money. That's not a very ethical thing to do." Ye Xingchen sneered, "I'll give you a chance. Kneel down and walk out of the antique street, slapping yourself as you go, and I'll let you off the hook."

"Brother Ye, this..." Before Zhou An could finish speaking, Ye Xingchen slapped him so hard that blood gushed from his mouth and nose.

"Either do as I say, or I'll take off both your legs right now," Ye Xingchen said coldly.

"I'll do it, please stop hitting me, I'll go right now." Zhou An cried, kneeling on the ground, slapping himself as he crawled on his knees.

And so, a peculiar scene unfolded on the antique street: a well-dressed man knelt down, slapping himself repeatedly as he walked.

Ye Xingchen followed behind, and if this guy went a little too lightly or was a little too slow, he would kick him flying.

These few hundred meters of the antique street were the most humiliating road Zhou An had ever walked in his life.

Having finally climbed to the top, he cried out with a swollen face, "Brother Ye, is that enough?"

After calling out a few times with no response, he turned around and realized that Ye Xingchen was already gone.

"You bastard surnamed Ye, you just wait, I'll definitely get my revenge." Zhou An struggled to his feet, his eyes filled with venom. He took out his phone: "Uncle, help me find a few tough guys, I want to stab someone."
