Chapter 566 Don't Touch My Son

"Who dares to hit my son? Let go of my son!" the old woman screamed frantically. "If anyone dares to touch my son again, I'll fight you to the death!"

As soon as she finished speaking, a series of loud thumping sounds came from the other end of the phone, along with Yi Qiang's pig-like screams and howls.

"Tell her what to do, hurry up, or I'll break your legs right now." A threatening voice came through the microphone.

A moment later, Yi Qiang cried out, "Mom, please leave! If you don't leave, I'll be beaten to death! I don't want my brother's inheritance anymore! Please stop making things difficult for Qingmeng and her sister! I beg you..."

"Alright, alright, I won't make things difficult for them anymore. Just have someone release my son." The old woman finally gave in.

She usually dotes on her youngest son the most, but now that he has been arrested and is being beaten to death, it's like they're trying to kill her. Helpless, she has no choice but to settle for second best.

"This is the last warning, remember it well." Ye Xingchen looked at the old woman with a warning expression: "If you dare to do it again, you know the consequences."

"I know, I won't dare to do it again." The old woman nodded repeatedly: "I promise I won't bother them anymore, please let my son go."

"Okay." Ye Xingchen nodded and then made a phone call: "Release him, but don't let your guard down. Have someone keep an eye on him. If I find out that the Yi sisters are in any trouble again, break that kid's legs immediately."

"Understood, Mr. Ye."

After the other party hung up the phone, Yi Qiang huddled up in a bathhouse, looking at the uninvited guests in front of him with fear.

These people were naturally from the Zhou Clan Chamber of Commerce. The burly man at the head spat and then glared fiercely at Yi Qiang, saying, "Hey Yi, remember this: if you and your wife dare to cause trouble for the Yi sisters again, I'll put you in a sack and throw you into the river."

"Let me tell you, I know people in northern Myanmar too. I could throw you there like a pig. If you don't believe me, you can ask around and find out who I am. I always keep my word. Got it?"

"I understand, I understand, big brother. Don't worry, I will never bother those sisters again, and I won't let my mother bother them either." Yi Qiang knelt on the ground, almost begging for mercy.

He was now bruised and swollen, and the wounds on his body were excruciatingly painful. He was truly terrified this time, and he would never dare to cause trouble for the Yi sisters again, even if he had ten times the courage.

"What the hell? You want to fight over the inheritance of your older brother's two daughters?" The burly man glared at him fiercely, then called to his underlings, "A few of you stay here and keep an eye on him. Don't let him cause any trouble. If he dares to cause any more trouble, beat him up. Don't let Mr. Ye call again, understand?"

"Understood." The henchmen answered in unison, pointed at Yi Qiang, gave the guy a good scare, and then left.

When kindergarten let out, Yi Qingmeng was called to the teacher's office.

This kindergarten isn't exactly a high-end or elite kindergarten, but it's a place where children from middle-to-upper-class families gather.

A young teacher surnamed Yang was Zhenzhen's homeroom teacher.

"Teacher Yang, has something happened to Zhenzhen at school?" Yi Qingmeng clearly sensed something was wrong; Teacher Yang in front of her had been on the phone the whole time.

Hearing what Yi Qingmeng said, Teacher Yang put down the phone. She organized her thoughts and said, "Sister Zhenzhen, today Zhenzhen got into a conflict with another child at school. She scratched the other child's face. The other child's parents have arrived now. I hope you two can resolve the issue here."

"How could this happen? Where is Zhenzhen?" Yi Qingmeng was taken aback. "She has a very good personality and doesn't usually act rashly. I need to find out what happened."

As we were talking, Zhenzhen arrived. She had a cut on her lip and some bruises on her chin, probably from the fall.

"Sister..." Upon seeing Yi Qingmeng, Zhenzhen rushed over and threw herself into her arms.

"Zhenzhen, tell your sister what happened? What happened to your mouth? Does it hurt?" Yi Qingmeng cupped her face, looking at the injury on her mouth with heartache.

"Qiangqiang deliberately tripped me and tried to ride on me like a horse. I refused, so I fought back and grabbed him." Zhenzhen pointed to the injury on her mouth and said with some grievance, "This injury is from when he tripped me and I fell and bumped into something."

"Sister, Zhenzhen has really caused you trouble. I shouldn't have hit her."

“Zhenzhen, you did the right thing.” Ye Xingchen said, “When others bully you, you must fight back firmly. It’s okay, your older sister and brother are here for you if anything happens.”

"I'll take you to the infirmary to put some medicine on." Yi Qingmeng felt sorry for her and pulled her away.

“Sister Zhenzhen, the matter hasn’t been resolved yet, so you can’t leave just yet.” Teacher Yang said, “Zhenzhen scratched the other person’s face, and the other person’s parents are very angry. They want to take their child to the hospital for a check-up. If anything happens, you will be held fully responsible.”

"What responsibility do we bear?" Yi Qingmeng looked angrily at Teacher Yang: "According to Zhenzhen's account, the other party bullied first. What were you teachers doing at the time? Did you just stand by and watch other children bully others without doing anything?"

“Sister Zhenzhen, that’s not how it works,” Teacher Yang began to argue. “There are twenty children in a kindergarten class, and we teachers can’t possibly keep an eye on them all the time.”

"Besides, no matter what, it's wrong to actually resort to violence. Even if the other party is at fault first, you can't just lay a hand on them. Today's incident is directly related to your family's upbringing."

Although Teacher Yang's tone was the same as usual, her words were sarcastic and unintentionally shifted all the responsibility for the matter onto Zhenzhen.

"Family education? What are we paying so much money every month to send our children to kindergarten? Is it just so that when something happens, the teachers will blame the parents for not raising their children well?" Ye Xingchen spoke up: "When bullying occurs in kindergarten, you turn a blind eye and then blame the children and parents for their upbringing?"

"Sir, what's happened today has already occurred. Now is not the time to assign blame, but rather to figure out how to quell the anger of the other parents," Ms. Yang said, somewhat displeased.

"Why should I appease his anger? Who will appease our anger?" Ye Xingchen was furious; this was no way to take sides.

"Where is that little girl? Get out here right now!" Just then, a roar came from above.

A burly man with a gold chain around his neck and hideous tattoos on his exposed skin walked in with a very stylish woman.
