Just then, a surge of true energy entered her body through her back, and Ye Xingchen appeared.
Bai Zilin glanced back at Ye Xingchen, then her vision went black, and she plunged headfirst into the ground.
Ye Xingchen quickly supported her and swiftly reached out to tap her, channeling his true energy through her eight extraordinary meridians to stop the spread of the corpse poison.
"Ye Xingchen, this isn't over between us. Just you wait, one day I will kill you to avenge my aunt."
Xu Jie turned around and fled while Ye Xingchen was treating Bai Zilin.
Suddenly, a flash of cold light appeared, and two sharp blades, one long and one short, blocked her path. It was Si Qianyu who had appeared.
Although Xu Jie had never formally studied swordsmanship, she was with her wife, and even though her seductive arts were broken, she still had some tricks up her sleeve.
With a flick of her sleeve, several insects flew out from it. The strange insects flapped their wings and pounced on Si Qianyu.
With a flick of her right hand, Si Qianyu unleashed dozens of hidden weapons that whistled through the air, sending the insects flying. Then, she drew her Seven Tribulations-Avoiding Cave from her hand.
With a scream, Xu Jie's arm was crippled, and Si Qianyu held a long sword to her neck.
"Don't kill her, just hand her over to Li Tianqi," Ye Xingchen said.
"Understood." Si Qianyu glanced at Bai Zilin lying on the ground. "Do you need any help?"
"No need, you can just take Xu Jie with you." Ye Xingchen shook his head.
Si Qianyu grabbed Xu Jie and turned to leave.
"Ye Xingchen, my cousin... what happened to her?" Li Yijin rushed over under the protection of several bodyguards and was shocked to see Bai Zilin lying on the ground.
