“Something happened at the school, and a lot of police came, so we’re temporarily closed.” Chen Wenhao’s eyes lit up when he heard this: “Brother-in-law, what happened at the school is no ordinary thing. I heard it’s a paranormal event, and the police have cordoned off the area and won’t let anyone in.”
"A paranormal event?" Ye Xingchen's heart skipped a beat. "How is it paranormal?"
"It happened in the girls' dormitory. Apparently, one of the girls is pregnant..." Chen Wenhao said mysteriously.
"The girl is pregnant. Is this a paranormal event?" Ye Xingchen asked.
"It's not just a simple pregnancy. The girl is very shy and almost never interacts with boys. She has always denied having had contact with men, but she is pregnant." Chen Wenhao started gossiping.
"Do you believe what she said?" Ye Xingchen suddenly had a thought.
“I believe her. She’s not that kind of person, and she wouldn’t lie,” Chen Wenhao said. “Most importantly, she was perfectly fine yesterday, just like a normal person, and then her belly suddenly grew big overnight.”
"Her parents arrived at the school, called the police, and emptied the dormitory. After the police arrived, they seemed unable to handle the situation, so they temporarily sealed off the dormitory. She is still at the school now," Chen Wenhao said mysteriously.
"Take me to the school to take a look." Ye Xingchen made a quick decision; he felt that what was happening here was not so simple.

"Aliens? That's fucking ridiculous." Ye Xingchen cursed, then went to Chen Wenhao's school with him.
The school was indeed under martial law. Chen Wenhao led Ye Xingchen in through a back door. The area around the girl's dormitory was fenced off, and some people in white coats were exploring something with some X-ray equipment.
"There are so many people, how are we going to get in?" Just as Chen Wenhao was worrying, Ye Xingchen walked out directly because he saw Zhang Qiao.
"Brother Zhang, it's your turn to be on duty today." Ye Xingchen walked up with a smile.
"Brother Ye, what brings you here?" Zhang Qiao was slightly taken aback. He had been notified to come and seal off this area and was carrying out his work in an orderly manner.
It's said that something unusual is happening here, possibly involving extraterrestrial beings. They've even sent protective suits over there, and you can see some police officers changing their uniforms right now.
"I heard some unusual things happened here, so I came to check it out. It might be related to something I'm currently dealing with," Ye Xingchen said.
"Oh, I see. It's good to have you here. Experts have been dispatched from above and are on their way. Let me take you in to have a look." Zhang Qiao looked around and, seeing that the experts hadn't arrived yet, brought Ye Xingchen over to have a look first.
"Brother-in-law, you're amazing! You know people everywhere." Chen Wenhao eagerly came over.
"Brother Ye got married?" Zhang Qiao was taken aback.
"No." Ye Xingchen was both amused and exasperated. He glared at Chen Wenhao and said, "Don't call me that again."
"I know, brother-in-law." Chen Wenhao chuckled, but didn't take Ye Xingchen's words to heart at all.
Zhang Qiao led the two to the dormitory, which was a double room with all the necessary living facilities.
"The girl involved in the incident is named Zhou Ying. She's a very good student and comes from a well-off family. Her parents have already gone to the police station for questioning," Zhang Qiao said. "If Brother Ye can find out the reason, that would be best; otherwise, this girl's life might be ruined."
"I'll try my best." Ye Xingchen nodded.
"Open the door," Zhang Qiao said to the two guards as he walked to the dormitory.
Two guards opened the door, and the group went inside.
Inside the dormitory, a girl sat on the edge of her bed, crying incessantly. Her belly was already quite swollen, and she looked to be at least six months pregnant.
Seeing Zhang Qiao come in, the girl looked at him like he was a savior: "Police officer, please help me! I must be sick. I've never done those things, and I don't know what's going on."
"Yingying, don't worry, this is Brother Ye. His medical skills are very advanced." Zhang Qiao quickly helped her up. "I believe he can find the cause. I believe you are sick."
Zhou Ying nodded through her tears; what had happened to her was simply unbelievable.
From yesterday to today, she has almost completely collapsed and even had suicidal thoughts.
Fortunately, she received guidance from a psychologist, which prevented her from doing anything foolish. Now she is trapped in this dormitory and cannot go anywhere. She can only leave after experts have assessed that there are no problems with the magnetic field and other aspects of the place.
"Zhou Ying, I'm Chen Wenhao from the next class. You know me, right?" Chen Wenhao felt sorry for her when he saw her expression.
"I know you." Zhou Ying nodded with tears in her eyes.
“This is my brother-in-law. He’s amazing. He can even revive people in a vegetative state. Don’t worry, he can definitely help you,” Chen Wenhao reassured him.
Upon hearing this, Zhou Ying felt a surge of hope. She nodded and followed Ye Xingchen to sit down by the bed.
"Your name is Zhou Ying? I'll call you Yingying then." Ye Xingchen smiled and sat down opposite her. "Don't worry, let me ask you a few questions first."
"Go ahead and ask," Zhou Ying nodded.
"When did you first notice that you weren't feeling well?" Ye Xingchen asked.
“I started feeling nauseous and vomiting yesterday. I thought I had food poisoning, so I went to the school doctor and got some medicine,” Zhou Ying replied. “I took the medicine and went to sleep after I got back, and I slept until this morning.”
"Did you notice anything unusual after you woke up?" Ye Xingchen asked.
"When I woke up, I found... I found my belly..." Zhou Ying cried as she spoke, "It had gotten bigger, and there were signs of fetal movement. The school immediately called the police, and the place was sealed off."
"Okay, okay, I understand. Don't cry." Ye Xingchen comforted her. "Think back, have you been anywhere in the past week, or encountered anything strange?"
“I’ve been at school all week and haven’t gone anywhere else.” Zhou Ying shook her head. “I haven’t encountered anything strange, but I’ve been feeling unwell all week, though I can’t quite put my finger on it.”
"You don't have a boyfriend, do you?" Ye Xingchen asked again.
“I don’t have a boyfriend. I’ve never had a boyfriend.” Hearing this, Zhou Ying started crying again: “I don’t know what happened. I’ve embarrassed my parents because of these things.”
"No, no, you don't need to worry about this. It's not your fault, and your parents will understand," Ye Xingchen comforted her. "Think about it carefully. Are you sure nothing happened? Even if you had a dream..."
