Bai Zilin frowned and got back to the point: "Over the years, the Holy Curtain has been illegally providing organ transplants to wealthy individuals from dozens of countries in international waters."
"Furthermore, we have evidence that you have obtained so-called human donors in more than ten countries, removed their organs, and extended the lives of those wealthy people. And you, Joss, are the person in charge of the Holy Curtain. Do you acknowledge these crimes or not?"
"Hehe, I only admit that I did these things, but I don't think it's a crime, because I was contributing to all of humanity," Joss said with a smile.
He spread his hands: "The universe is vast, and humanity is but a mere century old."
"In the vast universe, a hundred years is simply too insignificant. Human life is so short that we have no way of discovering extraterrestrial life."
"I have made outstanding and great contributions to the continuation of human life and civilization. I have promoted the advancement of human civilization. What have I done wrong?"
"Is your so-called development just about stepping on the lives of countless people to achieve it?" Bai Zilin's temper flared up immediately.
"Haha, this world is inherently unfair," Joss laughed heartily. "Nature itself is about survival of the fittest."
"Those who are utterly useless are a waste of resources in this world. Wouldn't it be better for them to contribute to the development of human civilization than to live meaningless lives?"
"What right do you have to take someone's life? All living beings are born equal." Bai Zilin said angrily.
"Hahaha, really? All beings are equal? Do you really think all beings in this world are equal?" Joss laughed even harder.
He straightened his clothes, appearing very gentlemanly: "Miss Bai, you know very well that this world is inherently unfair."
"Some people are destined to have an extraordinary life from birth, while others spend their entire lives only reaching the starting point of others."
"Those at the very bottom of society are like rats in the sewers, filthy and smelly. If they knew that their bodies could contribute to the continuation and development of human civilization, I think they would be willing."
“Mr. Joss,” Bai Zilin interrupted him, barely able to contain herself, “I have given you enough respect, so I expect you to cooperate as well.”
"Let's get back to the main point. Did you do all of these things?"
She reached out her hand, and a staff member took out a file and handed it to her.
She opened the file and took out a thick stack of photos.
The photos contain various human experimental data, as well as surgical procedures for organ removal; each photo depicts a vibrant life.
“Oh, I did all this, but I still maintain that I did it for humanity, for the development of all humankind.” Joss couldn’t help but laugh.
“It’s unfair to exchange one person’s life for another’s.” Bai Zilin sighed, put away the documents in her hand, and said seriously, “Mr. Joss, you have admitted to all your crimes.”
"Next, you will be sent to the International Criminal Court for trial, and the organization behind you will not be able to save you."
"And you will pay the price for your actions."
“Miss Bai.” Joss elegantly clasped his hands together, staring at Bai Zilin with a playful expression: “Don’t you really know that there’s a type of person in this world you can’t afford to offend?”
“I am a police officer. I don’t know what police officers are like in your Western world, but the police officers of China are born to never bow to any crime.” Bai Zilin’s tone was very serious.
Her profession is a very serious and solemn matter to her, so she will not allow anyone to insult her profession, nor will she allow any stain on her profession.
“You know what? Miss Bai, you’re quite an interesting person.” Joss couldn’t help but laugh. “There are so few people like you in this world these days.”
"Perhaps there are very few people like me in your circle, but there are many like me in my circle."
Bai Zilin looked up at Qiao Si: "Qiao Si, you are a person with dignity. I hope that even at the end, you will explain everything with dignity."
“Dignity?” Joss’s expression became complicated. He murmured, “Yes, in this world, who doesn’t have a little dignity?”
"Okay, Miss Bai, I admit that I did these things."
"What are the details?" Bai Zilin asked.
"I don't remember. There are no detailed details, not even experimental records. Our Mother's organ transplantation level is top-notch. Removing one person's organ and installing it in another person is as simple as castrating a pig."
"Given this level of medical care, what further details do we really need?"
"You..." Bai Zilin was speechless at this guy's words. She said coldly, "Joss, I expect you to tell the truth."
"Heh, tell the truth..." Joss laughed: "Are all Chinese police officers as bored as you?"
"I've already admitted to doing these things, what else do you want me to explain?"
"Behind the Holy Curtain lies the Temple."
Joss slowly stood up, placed his hands on the table, and looked coldly at Bai Zilin: "Do you know what kind of existence the Temple is?"
"Transcending everything in this world, I belong to the jurisdiction of the Sixth Holy Temple, and your actions have disturbed the temple's greatest treasure."
"Now the Sixth Holy Church has mobilized all its forces to rescue me. You have already caused yourself and this place a great deal of trouble. Don't you realize that at all?"
“We, the Chinese police, are not afraid of trouble,” Bai Zilin smiled.
“Heh…” Joss laughed again, nodding as he laughed: “Yes, you’re not troublesome, and you’re not afraid of death.”
"But you should know that not everyone is as fearless and unafraid of trouble as you, Miss Bai. You have successfully dragged your teammates and friends into the quagmire, where they are now trapped and can never get out."
"What do you mean?" Bai Zilin frowned.
"All the extraordinary individuals from the Sixth Holy Temple have come out in full force, what you Chinese call the Domain Forgers," Joss said leisurely. "Some of them attacked the Xuan Yu Pavilion, while others created chaos in the heart of your China."
"Their goal is simple: to get me out of here. Heh... Miss Bai, for your so-called justice, you have caused countless of your compatriots to suffer. You... are a sinner."
Bai Zilin looked horrified. She believed what Joss said wasn't a lie. She grabbed the walkie-talkie and shouted, "Alert! All units, be on alert..."
