Chapter 13 She thought that things between them should be over.

She thought it was over between them.

Gu Yueji guessed that Ren Jin was unhappy because she said he was her cousin, but she didn't know why he minded.

She wouldn't ask any further questions.

But she suddenly realized that if they didn't contact each other like this, they might become two strangers who would never cross paths again in just three months.

He was as if he had never appeared in her life, and he would soon forget her.

It's a strange feeling, a transition from intimacy to estrangement, a separation where you turn around and never see each other again. It turns out that relationships between people can be so sudden and fragile.

Upon hearing this, Ren Jin frowned and swept his gaze fiercely over.

He was driving normally on the road when this Mercedes turned and didn't yield to oncoming traffic, knocking him down. His electric scooter was even lying in front of the Mercedes, and yet the Mercedes still dared to act this way.

The other party was intimidated by Ren Jin's glare, but still stubbornly said, "Alright, tell me how much you want, name your price."

Ren Jin originally wanted to downplay the matter and just ask the other party to pay for his medical expenses, but now he has changed his mind.
