Ren Jin was amused and exasperated by her quirky and mischievous behavior. She was becoming more and more like a child in front of him, daring to say anything and displaying more and more childlike mannerisms.
He knew Gu Yueji was comforting him. Others might not understand, but she certainly did. His lack of closeness with family and relatives stemmed from a childhood of neglect and lack of care. Ren Jin gently pinched Gu Yueji's cheek, "Tell me, when are you going to take me home? We've been married for almost a year, and I still haven't met your parents. Is that reasonable?"
