Why did you come here?
Xiao Yao was looking at the sales data for the month on her computer when she looked up and saw Zhong Xuyang walk into the office. She stood up in surprise.
November is drawing to a close, and December is just around the corner. A cold front swept south a couple of days ago, and now it's gotten really cold.
Zhong Xuyang wore a beige sweater over a denim shirt, light khaki straight-leg pants, and work boots. His tall and slender figure, clean and refreshing attire, and the sunny smile on his handsome face gave people a feeling of warmth and comfort.
Zhong Xuyang looked at her intently. "Didn't you say you weren't going back this week? I had no choice but to come see you."
During the three months he was recovering from his injury, Xiao Yao would come back to Yun City to see him every weekend. But this week she said she wouldn't be coming back, so he couldn't help but come over.

Gu Yueji gave birth to a baby boy on the last day of October. He named him Ren Tianle, nicknamed Shitou (Stone). Gu Yueji chose his formal name, hoping that her son would be happy every day. His nickname is Ren Jinqu (Ren Progressive), which means that a man should be as strong and hard as a stone.
Tomorrow is Ren Tianle's one-month celebration, and as his godmother, she definitely can't be absent, which is why she didn't go back to Yun City this week.

Xiao Yao ignored him.
Over the past few months, he had proposed to her more than once, but each time it was just something said in a moment of impulsiveness, and none of them were serious proposals. Xiao Yao just felt that he was teasing her.
The day she rushed back to see him after his car accident, the nurse asked her who Zhong Xuyang was to her and said that only family members could visit. Xiao Yao glared at him angrily, "Never? Have you ever proposed to me in a formal manner even once?"
Zhong Xuyang's initially surprised expression turned into a smile after hearing her words. "So you're waiting for me to formally propose to you?"
His smile made Xiao Yao even angrier. "How could that be!" she said defiantly. "I wouldn't marry you even if you begged me!"
Zhong Xuyang acted as if he hadn't heard her, one hand resting on the armrest of Xiao Yao's chair, staring at her with eyes sparkling like stars, "I'll try next time."
Xiao Yao deliberately ignored him, but his gaze was too much to ignore. She covered his eyes and pushed him away, saying, "Go away, don't disturb my work."
Zhong Xuyang chuckled softly and replied indulgently, "Alright, alright, I won't bother you."

Ren Tianle's full moon celebration was held at the best hotel in H City. When Xiao Yao and Zhong Xuyang arrived, there weren't many people in the banquet hall yet. Ren Jin and Gu Yueji sat around the front table with the baby.
Ren Jin was still the same tall, robust man with strong features. He rested one hand on the back of Gu Yueji's chair, leaning down to play with the baby alongside her. The birth of their son and their happiness filled him with joy, and a smile constantly graced his face, softening his demeanor. Gu Yueji had been sent to a postpartum care center by Ren Jin during her confinement period. She was well-rested, her complexion rosy, and her figure had almost fully recovered. The two of them nestled together, gazing at their son. The scene was so beautiful that Xiao Yao's eyes welled up with tears. Having witnessed Gu Yueji's hardships along the way, she understood even more how precious this moment was for her.
Gu Yueji turned to talk to Ren Jin and just then saw Xiao Yao and Zhong Xuyang walking hand in hand. She greeted them, "Yao Yao, Zhong Xuyang, you're here so early."
Xiao Yao blinked and walked up to Gu Yueji. "It's my godson's one-month celebration, of course I have to come early." She leaned closer to look at Ren Tianle lying in the stroller. With his big eyes, chubby face, and ability to smile at people, Xiao Yao's heart melted. "How can our little stone be so cute?"
Ren Tianle's appearance is a combination of the best features of his parents. He has the same deep eyes and high nose as Ren Jin, and he also inherited Gu Yueji's fair skin and small lips. Everyone who sees him praises how handsome he is.
