But under the candlelight, Gu Yueji's face was bathed in a soft light. Gone was the fierceness she had displayed during the argument. Her whole face became gentle, with smooth cheek lines shimmering with a faint glow. Her lips, when closed, resembled a cherry, smooth and full without a single lip line, and her long, thick eyelashes drooped down and trembled gently.
Ren Jin couldn't help but wonder if her lips would break if she bit them, and if at some point she was also like this with her eyes closed, her eyelashes trembling incessantly.
The more he thought about it, the more agitated he became. Ren Jin tugged at his pants, picked up the bottle, tilted his head back, and took a few more gulps.
After making her wish, Gu Yueji opened her eyes and immediately met Ren Jin's gaze as he looked up at her.
His eyes were jet black, the candlelight flickering within them, and something suddenly surged within them, making Gu Yueji's heart tremble.
She quickly looked away, blew out the candles, and bent down to cut the cake, handing a piece to Ren Jin, saying, "Have a piece too."
He lowered his gaze, took the cake with one hand, and said with disdain that he didn't want to eat it, "What's so good about this cake? It's all cheap cream."
Gu Yueji paused in her hand as she cut the cake, and asked in confusion, "Is it not good? This shop has the highest online sales."
Ren Jin took a symbolic bite and then put down his fork. "It sells well because it's cheap, not because it tastes good."
Gu Yueji was stunned for a moment. Ye Zurong used to order cakes from this shop for her birthday. He also said that this shop was very popular and had the most customers.
She ate it bit by bit, only to find the cake cream becoming increasingly greasy, sticking to her mouth and swallowing it several times before finally managing to swallow it down.
She picked up her fork, ready to take a second bite, when Ren Jin grabbed her wrist. "If you don't like it, don't eat it."
Gu Yueji shivered from the heat on his wrist. She didn't know if his temperature had always been this high, or if it was due to something else. Looking up into his eyes, she saw that he was still holding her hand, and the turmoil in his eyes was brewing again.
"What are you going to do if you don't eat?" Her eyes had a natural, subtle shadow at the corners, and she had a naturally alluring gaze, asking a question she already knew the answer to.
Ren Jin put his arm around her waist, his smile spreading across his face, looking easygoing. "Isn't it your birthday? You decide."
Gu Yueji felt the large hand slowly moving across her waist.
Ren Jin was no naive or innocent boy; she knew what he was thinking the moment he nodded and came in.
Under his gentle caresses, she gradually began to tremble and feel hot uncontrollably.
Ren Jin sensed it too, and the smile in his eyes deepened.
Gu Yueji suddenly felt there was nothing to hesitate or struggle about. She smeared some cream on her lips with her finger, tilted her head back, and pressed her lips to his, asking, "Shall we do it?"
Ren Jin smiled with satisfaction, licked the cream off with his tongue, and squinted his eyes with a wanton and wicked air. "What am I doing here if I'm not going to do anything?" After saying that, he pinched her chin and probed inside with his tongue.
What happened next was only natural. The two of them stripped almost naked in the living room. When Ren Jin tried to go further, Gu Yueji stopped him, saying, "Not here, go to the room."
Without saying a word, Ren Jin picked up Gu Yueji.
Their naked skin was pressed together. Gu Yueji could feel the heat of his skin, his strong and thick arms holding her, and the firm, taut muscles of his back under her fingers, as well as his muscular abs.
He seemed even more attractive with his clothes off.
Ren Jin pushed open the door and turned on the light, discovering a completely different world inside—neat, clean, and fragrant. Especially her soft bed; when he put Gu Yueji down, she almost sank into it.
Gu Yueji felt a little dizzy, and an instinctive desire welled up from her body again.
After Ren Jin put her down, he didn't come closer, but she still reached out to pull him.
Ren Jin leaned against her and asked, "So rushed?"
"Yes." Gu Yueji nodded without trying to hide her feelings.
Gu Yueji felt that she had completely let loose tonight. She was always shy and waited for Ye Zurong to take the initiative, but she wanted to be like this with this stranger. Whether it was a rebellious mentality or a decadent mentality, she just wanted to be happy and carefree.
Ren Jin was very satisfied. This kind of thing is about both parties being able to let loose and have fun to the fullest.
"No rush, we still have one more night."
...
Gu Yueji didn't know how many times, but the last time, her mind was like an electrified light bulb, momentarily bright and then blank, with only her body convulsing.
Ren Jin lay sprawled on the bed, feeling completely relaxed. He had forgotten how long it had been since he had enjoyed himself so much, and it seemed like he had never felt so happy before. He turned to look at the person beside him.
She lay there, panting, lost in thought, but as she continued to gasp for breath, she began to whine and cry.
Ren Jin was taken aback, and pulled her over to look at her. "What's wrong? Did I hurt you?"
He certainly didn't show her any pity during the process, doing whatever he wanted to have his way, but surely he didn't make her cry?
Gu Yueji subconsciously shook her head. Her whole body was still in a tingling sensation. She would tremble if Ren Jin touched her. It wasn't pain, but a comfortable yet empty feeling that made her want to cry.
Ren Jin felt the person in his arms was still trembling; she was crying, and her eyes were filled with coquettishness and confusion.
He suddenly smiled, realizing what she meant, and lowered his head to kiss her lips. "You've never experienced this feeling before?"
Gu Yueji nodded honestly.
Ren Jin's smile widened. "Do you know what this feels like?"
Gu Yueji looked at his mouth and shook her head.
Ren Jin's lips curled into a smug and roguish smile, and he silently uttered two words in her gaze.
**
When Gu Yueji woke up in the morning, she first felt sore all over that she couldn't move, as if she had been beaten. She turned her head to look at the person who had "beat" her by the bedside, but he was nowhere to be seen.
After a while, she got up and went out to the living room to take a look. Ren Jin had indeed left.
I had a dazed feeling, as if I had just had a dream last night.
But the aches and pains in her body, the mottled stains on the sheets, and the countless contraceptives in the trash can made her know all too well that this was not a dream.
She rubbed her flushed face, then tore off the sheets and duvet cover and threw them into the washing machine.
