Gu Yueji's face flushed. She hadn't forgotten. Although they had slept in the same bed countless times, she still felt shy thinking about tonight. That's why she kept herself busy.
Seeing that she still didn't move, Ren Jin slapped her on the bottom and said, "Go quickly."
Her face flushed, and she obediently went to get her clothes to take a shower.
When Gu Yueji came out of the bathroom, the living room lights were already off. She went into the bedroom and found Ren Jin leaning against the headboard playing on his phone. The sheets and duvet cover on the bed had been changed, and she didn't know where he had thrown the previous set.
Ren Jin looked up at her, saw her half-damp hair, thought for a moment, and then left the living room.
Gu Yueji heard the sound of rummaging through drawers and cabinets, and a moment later, Ren Jin returned to the room.
Gu Yueji watched him take a brand new hairdryer out of the box and asked in confusion, "Why is your hairdryer new?"
He untangled the neatly coiled plug cord, not looking at her, and asked, "Have I ever seen myself use a hairdryer in your house?"
Gu Yueji thought, he might not have a buzz cut, but someone else could, especially a woman with long hair. However, she had noticed while tidying up that it seemed no one else had ever stayed here before; everything in the house was unique. So, was it true that he had never brought other women home?
Ren Jin pulled her to sit on the bed and knelt behind her on one knee.
"I'll blow it myself." Gu Yueji tried to take the hairdryer, but Ren Jin raised it high and turned her head back. "Don't move."
He had seen her blow-dry her hair before. Even though the hairdryer had three settings, she would insist on using the lowest setting, and it would take her half an hour to dry one head. Several times, he was too lazy to wait for her, so he would just throw the hairdryer down, carry her to the bed, and then she would say that if her hair wasn't dried, she would have a headache the next day.
He turned the hairdryer on full blast and blew hot air into her head. She struggled, but he held her down with one hand, and soon her hair was dry.
He put down the hairdryer and smelled her hair with satisfaction. "It smells so good."
Gu Yueji's hair was blown into a mess. She brushed aside the few strands that were blocking her eyes and looked up to glare at him.
However, as soon as she raised her head, he pushed her down onto the bed.
His eyes were bright and clear. Unlike before, when he would either have a mischievous grin or eagerly hug and kiss her as soon as they got into bed, he leaned on her, looking at her with a silly grin, his gaze so sincere and earnest.
He stroked her face and softly called out, "Wife."
Gu Yueji's eyelashes trembled, and she stared at him blankly.
His voice was deep, husky, and alluring with the night, magnetic and sexy.
The moon tonight is so bright and gentle, and in the faint moonlight, his handsome brows shimmer with tender light.
He called out again, then lowered his head and began to kiss her, from her lips to her face, to her eyes, and finally to her ear.
He licked her earlobe as if tasting a candy, his tongue and lips swirling freely around it, unwilling to let go. Gu Yueji obediently opened her mouth and tilted her head back.
"Tonight is our wedding night," he said in a low, husky voice, his lips parted in hers.
Gu Yueji couldn't help but hug him even tighter.
Yes, even though they had done it many times, tonight was so unique, their one and only wedding night.
Gu Yueji felt that he was exceptionally tender and doting tonight. Sometimes he would glance at her and lightly peck her eye, and sometimes he would hold her tightly and kiss her passionately and persistently, making her heart soften and feel warm. She couldn't help but use her tongue to entwine with his.
"Call me 'husband' once," Ren Jin whispered breathlessly in her ear.
Gu Yueji trembled all over, a tingling sensation spreading from her earlobes to her fingertips. She ran her hands through his hair, but couldn't bring herself to call out.
His warm breath slid down her neck from her ear, and his hands began to unbutton her pajamas, kissing her as he unbuttoned each button.
He knew every single sensitive spot on her body.
When he took her softest spot into his mouth and kneaded her buttocks with his hand, she couldn't help but let out a soft gasp.
He chuckled softly, looked up at her, and she looked at him pitifully, but still didn't say a word.
"Aren't you going to call it?"
He gave it a suggestive squeeze, "It's okay, I'm not planning to sleep tonight anyway, let's take it slow."
They spent the entire night in passionate embrace. In the final moments, amidst her increasingly loud and clear calls for her husband, Ren Jin let out a roar, biting her ear and whispering in a tense voice, "Husband."
Happy wedding.
