Chapter 32 Are you still seeing your ex-girlfriend?

Ren Jin was somewhat distracted during the rest of the meal, but everyone at the table had eaten and drunk their fill. In the end, as the banquet ended and the guests departed, Ren Jin and Gu Yueji presented the prepared gifts and saw them off one by one.

As soon as the person left, Ren Jin stretched out his long arm and pulled the person next to him into his arms, burying his face in her shoulder and neck, "Wife."

His breath was hot, and Gu Yueji trembled slightly as she wrapped her arms around his waist. "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell from drinking?"

Inhaling her fragrance, Ren Jin hugged her tighter, his forehead rubbing against her shoulder, and murmured, "Mmm."

Gu Yueji lightly brushed his back, "Then you stand here and wait for me, I'll go drive the car over to pick you up."

After a while, Ren Jin finally let go, supporting her waist as he stood up. "Okay, take it easy."

As Huang Li turned to walk inside after seeing off her guests, she was drawn to a tall figure by the gate.

Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be Ren Jin.

His tall, slender figure and long legs were accentuated by his trousers, which made them appear even straighter. His crisp leather jacket further highlighted his rugged demeanor. Standing at the entrance of this magnificent hotel, he exuded an air of nobility.

Huang Li's eyes lit up, and her heart skipped a beat.

She had always had feelings for Ren Jin, but he always readily agreed to her invitations, yet never actually kept them. Out of a woman's pride, she didn't take any further initiative.

Seeing his handsome and dashing appearance today, Huang Li decided to stop being reserved.

He strode towards Ren Jin, "Brother Jin, why didn't you call me today?"

As soon as Ren Jin raised his head, Huang Li's hand had already climbed onto his arm.

He frowned and took a step back.

Huang Li was stunned. In the past, when Ren Jin was drunk, she would never have reacted this strongly when she went to help him.

But she immediately asked in a gentle voice, "Brother Jin, are you drunk? Let me get you a room to rest here."

Ren Jin's eyes cleared again. "No need, I'm going back."

Huang Li made up her mind to take Ren Jin down today. "You've been drinking and can't drive. Give me your car keys and I'll drive you home." As she spoke, she reached into Ren Jin's pocket.

Ren gently blocked her hand, saying, "I won't trouble you. My wife went to get the car."

Huang Li's smile froze, and her voice involuntarily rose, "Your wife?"

Ren Jin raised an eyebrow and asked, "What? Why are you so surprised that your brother Jin, a normal man, is getting married?"

“No…” Huang Li’s eyes were still filled with shock, then a hint of resentment appeared, “You never mentioned having a girlfriend before.”

Every time she asked him out, he readily agreed, never mentioning that he had a girlfriend, so she always thought there was a chance for her to develop a relationship with Ren Jin.

Ren Jin had no idea where the resentment in Huang Li's eyes came from. He had never gone on a date with her, let alone flirted with her.

"We hadn't been together long when I felt my wife was right for me, so we got married right away."

When Gu Yueji drove over, she saw Ren Jin standing face to face with a woman.

The two stood at a distance, his tall, imposing figure slightly bowing down to look at the woman, his thin lips curved into a slight smile, as if he were saying something. The woman's gaze, however, was both infatuated and resentful, leaving a lingering, intriguing impression.

This scene seemed familiar. Gu Yueji recognized the woman next to her; she was the same one who had gone to the movies with Ren Jin last time and chatted and laughed with him so casually.

Gu Yueji felt a surge of suspicion and slowly drove the car to Ren Jin's side.

When Ren Jin saw Gu Yueji arrive, he calmly nodded goodbye to Huang Li, saying, "My wife is here to pick me up, I'm leaving now."

The journey was quiet. Ren Jin glanced at Gu Yueji several times during the trip. Her expression was normal, but she was unusually quiet.

Back home, Ren Jin carried her directly into the bathroom, and Gu Yueji did not object.

After the two had a very enjoyable time together, Gu Yueji washed up and went out.

When Ren Jin finished dressing and went out, Gu Yueji was sitting in the living room with a bottle of white wine and two small glasses on the coffee table.

Ren Jin sat down next to her, drying his hair. "What does this mean?"

"Let's play a game of truth or dare."

Ren Jin laughed as soon as he heard this, knowing that she wouldn't be able to hold it in for long.

He teased her on purpose, saying, "You can't play around with this, or you won't be able to live your life."

Gu Yueji's eyes darkened, and she glared at him, "What, do you have so many secrets you can't tell me?"

Ren Jin looked down at her and asked, "Don't you have any secrets you can't tell me?"

Gu Yueji thought for a moment, "No."

She had a father named Ye Zurong who abandoned her, parents who favored sons over daughters, and an unhappy childhood—things she once found difficult to talk about, but he knew them all.

Ren Jin lifted her face. "If I ask you how old you were and with whom you had your first time, will you tell me too?"

Gu Yueji nodded, "As long as it doesn't upset you, I can do it."

Ren Jin realized he was digging a hole for himself when he heard this, so he pinched her cheek and said, "Get lost."

Gu Yueji finally laughed, wrapping her arms around his waist and leaning against his chest. "Why are you jealous? You weren't a virgin when you were with me."

Ren Jin raised an eyebrow and snorted, "Of course, I wasn't a virgin when I was 18."

Gu Yueji pinched his waist. "Are you proud?"

Ren Jin flinched, then grabbed her hand. "I can't be proud of making you scream every night?"

Gu Yueji thought about the woman he met today. She had married Ren Jin without knowing anything about his romantic history. Did his extensive experience come from each of his girlfriends?

The more I think about it, the more I can't help but want to know, "How many ex-girlfriends have you had? When was your first love? Which one left the deepest impression on you?"

Ren Jin, with an arrogant air, said, "Why should I tell you? You don't have any secrets to exchange with me."

"What will it take for you to tell me?"

Ren Jin's gaze darkened as he stared at her. "You won't resist later, you'll just cooperate?"
