"It was this young man and the doctor who saved my mother." The little boy had delicate features, and he pointed to Jiang Shuyue and the old doctor.
"Thank you both for saving us." The woman stood up, took the little boy's hand, and bowed to the doctor and Jiang Shuyue.
“Madam, you’re too kind. It was nothing. You’re not seriously ill; you’re just hungry. It was this old gentleman who saved you.”
The doctor waved his hand: "It's just a bowl of brown sugar water, nothing to worry about."
The woman thanked the two men again.
Just as Jiang Shuyue was about to turn and leave.
The old doctor suddenly called out to her, "May I ask where you live, young master? I see you know medicine; would you be willing to practice medicine at Jimintang in the future?"
Jiang Shuyue cupped her hands in greeting: "Thank you for your appreciation, sir. I am merely passing through and have not yet found a place to stay."
Jiang Shuyue politely declined the old doctor's offer to stay and strode outside.
"Please wait, young lady."

Jiang Shuyue turned around and saw the woman leading the child following behind.
