The new week is sunny and bright.
Gan Tang deliberately wore a short leather jacket and black sunglasses. Her hands looked a bit thin and pale, which made her look less imposing. So, she wore a black fingerless leather glove on her right hand.
Seeing the young lady descending the stairs, Xiao He couldn't help but exclaim, "Miss, you're so cool!"
"How handsome?" Gan Tang hooked Xiao He's chin with her finger, making a flirtatious gesture.
"He's really handsome. Like a powerful and influential older sister in a Hong Kong drama."
"That's right!" Gan Tang patted her shoulder lightly and said boldly, "If anything happens in the future, just tell me. I'll protect you."
On the bus, Mo Huaixing couldn't help but glance at it a few more times.
Gan Tang proudly shook his leather jacket: "How about that? Pretty badass, right? Can you intimidate those people?"
It was clearly a dangerous road, but the girl in front of me showed no fear whatsoever; in fact, she seemed quite excited. Did she think she was filming a movie?
Mo Huaixing brought up the old matter again: "Can't we not go?"
"No!" Gan Tang pushed her sunglasses up her head and glanced at him sideways. "My parents are still waiting for me at home. Besides, while Jia He still has feelings for me, if I end this sooner, maybe he'll still be willing to marry me!"
As she said this, a faint smile played at the corners of her eyes, as if she were filled with longing.
Mo Huaixing's eyes stung, and he couldn't help but scoff.
In Gan Tang's eyes, this was a complete disrespect. Gan Tang retorted, "What, do you think I should rely on you instead of myself? You've been here for over three years now, and I haven't seen you accomplish anything."
Mo Huaixing frowned. Was he being looked down upon?
Seeing his discomfiture, Gan Tang took out a makeup mirror from her bag and looked at herself with a cheerful expression. The girl in the mirror had fiery red lips, but, "It seems like something's missing?"
"Its weakness is its killing intent!"
Gan Tang turned to look at the man who had spoken and surprisingly found that what he said made a lot of sense.
Mo Huaixing touched his eyebrows and continued, "Your eyebrows are too thin. The physiognomy book says, 'An iron face and sword-like eyebrows indicate military power over vast distances.' That's the appearance of an emperor or general, radiating authority without anger. Draw sword-like eyebrows."
"Really? You can read faces?"
"If you don't believe me, then forget it!" Mo Huaixing continued driving, but his eyes kept glancing around.
With the principle of "give it a try, or I'll just wipe it off if I have to," Gan Tang took out her eyebrow pencil and began to change her eyebrow shape.
"Make it thicker,"
"Make it thicker,"
"Hmm, not bad, there's a murderous aura there."
"Deeper,"
“Draw it again,”
"..."
Under someone's persuasion, someone successfully drew two thick, black caterpillars. When the whole face appeared in the makeup mirror, it looked exactly like Zhang Fei, the mythical figure pasted on a door for Chinese New Year.
Gan Tang instantly exploded: "Mo Huaixing!"
"Look how murderous he is!" Mo Huaixing praised earnestly.
"I'll teach you to be murderous! I'll teach you to be murderous!" Gan Tang tapped his head with a foundation box.
"Don't move, I'm driving!" Mo Huaixing finally couldn't hold back and laughed. But he didn't think it was ugly at all; in fact, he thought it was kind of cute.
“You can’t move around while driving!” Gan Tang’s eyes were fixed on his face, a sly smile on her face.
A moment later, a small bottle of makeup remover was held up in front of Mo Huaixing. Gan Tang raised her eyebrows smugly: "Want it? Beg me!"
Mo Huaixing looked at himself in the rearview mirror with a gloomy expression, his beard a brown color.
"Hey... what are you grabbing?"
Seeing a hand floating towards her, Gan Tang quickly protected the makeup remover, pulled it back into her arms, and proudly boasted, "If you mess up the makeup, just wipe it off."
As she spoke, she poured makeup remover onto a cotton pad and leisurely wiped her eyebrows. The air was filled with her pleasant humming.
I never knew that little girl was so petty.
Mo Huaixing started showing off his driving skills, swaying from side to side. It was difficult for him to even sit still, let alone wipe his eyebrows.
“To play it safe,” Mo Huaixing glanced at the makeup remover on her body, raised an eyebrow, and said, “Speak!”
Wanting to make peace while being so hardcore? No way!
Holding the makeup remover, Gan Tang looked at Mo Huaixing in a friendly manner and blinked: "There are red lights ahead, and it seems like there's more than one!"
Hmph, you're still too green to mess with me.
When Mo Huaixing glanced at himself in the rearview mirror for the ninety-ninth time, he finally couldn't hold back anymore. If those brats were watching, they'd probably laugh their heads off.
"Please..."
The sound was buzzing, as if shrouded in a layer of fog.
Gan Tang complained, "Why are there still mosquitoes in the car? They're buzzing so annoyingly, can't you hear them?"
They arrived at the red light on time and were the first car in line at the intersection.
Gan Tang pulled down the sun visor, looked at the makeup mirror above, and leisurely wiped her eyebrows.
A dark shadow descended, and the man, utterly disregarding all martial ethics, reached out to snatch it. Seeing the makeup remover about to slip from her left hand, Gan Tang instinctively reached out with her right hand to tickle him.
A tingling, itchy sensation under the ribs flowed into my heart.
Mo Huaixing's upper body trembled, and he suddenly pressed the girl in front of him down onto the seat. Their noses touched, and he could clearly feel her disordered breathing and trembling downy hair.
Desire flickered in his eyes.
She could clearly feel his throbbing pulse and the breath that made her feel weak all over.
I really want to kiss her.
"Hey, hey, hey, what are you doing?" A traffic policeman knocked urgently on the car window and pointed to the side of the road: "Come here."
The car stopped on the stone steps at the corner, and the two men got out, looking disheveled.
One person had disproportionately thick eyebrows, and the other had a mouthful of wild, brown mustache.
The traffic policeman suppressed a laugh and gave a stern lecture: "If you want to flirt, go home. Do you know how dangerous it is to laugh and play around in a car?"
Gan Tang nodded awkwardly.
The traffic policeman reached out his hand: "Give me your driver's license!"
Mo Huaixing peered through the car window and took out his driver's license. It had been less than ten days since he got his license back after being penalized with twelve points.
"Okay!" After checking, the traffic police handed it back to him and pointed to the red banner hanging by the roadside. "See this? This month is Civilized Traffic Month. You two stand here and spread the word."
He then picked up two ribbons from the guardrail and handed them to them. The ribbons read: "Civilized traffic is everyone's responsibility."
Gan Tang had a bad feeling: "Advertisement?"
"Okay!" the traffic policeman continued, "Take a group photo, post it on WeChat Moments, and add a 100-word self-criticism. Once you get ten likes, you can go."
"No, officer, please deduct the points instead." Gan Tang was on the verge of tears.
This behavior, while inappropriate, hasn't yet warranted a penalty. The traffic police urged, "Hurry up."
The man, who had been standing silently, finally spoke: "I was driving, I set it off myself."
“Yes, yes, yes.” Gan Tang chimed in rather unkindly, “How could he drive like that? Let him send it himself. I wasn’t driving.”
"You weren't driving, but you did draw a mustache!" The traffic police officer looked at the "mustache" on Mo Huaixing's face and kindly reminded him, "Remember to write 'Don't interfere with your boyfriend's driving' in the book."
He is not my boyfriend.
"Then write about my husband!"
