"Don't you want him to come looking for you?"
"Of course I don't want to!" Gan Tang was speechless at this question.
Mo Huaixing snatched the ice cream from her hand and added a bite to the panda ear that she had bitten off.
Why did you steal my ice cream?
"Here you go!" Mo Huaixing held the ice cream to her mouth, his eyebrows dancing with delight.
Is this a public display of affection? Gan Tang belatedly realized, pursed her lips, opened her mouth to bite, and bit the spot he had bitten.
Mo Huaixing pulled back and then took another big bite.
Gan Tang reached out and slapped him, her anger mixed with her undisguised shyness: "Give it to me."
"No way!"
The two playfully teased each other as they walked deeper into the amusement park. Turning back now seemed too deliberate. She was also worried that Chu Jiahe would stop them.
"Would you like to try something?" Gan Tang asked.
"How about the Ferris wheel?" Mo Huaixing suggested. A ride takes half an hour; he didn't believe he could wait down there forever. Even if he had the patience, he couldn't afford the embarrassment. After all, everyone up there could see everything clearly.
"Is all you're thinking about is the Ferris wheel?" Gan Tang couldn't help but complain as she followed Mo Huaixing inside.
The Ferris wheel slowly began to turn, and Chu Jiahe turned away dejectedly. He could no longer see it, nor could he bear to look any longer.
Meng Keqing had intended to cheer him up, but instead made him even more unhappy, and felt somewhat apologetic.
“I assure you, by my professional standards, we’ve been discovered.” She caught up with him and explained, “So, what you just saw was most likely an illusion.”
