The teacup was turned upside down, and the warm tea spilled all over the floor. Lu Zhengqian pressed the bottom of the cup and said calmly, "If he's a wolf, we can't let him roam in packs."
On the other side, Gan Tang walked slowly westward along the golden coastline. Mo Huaixing followed behind her, saying nothing. Once they were far from the house, Gan Tang turned to Mo Huaixing and asked, "Is Brother Fu Cheng sick?"
Gan Tang had almost figured out the whole story. Originally, she thought 'that person' wanted to use her, but she realized she was wrong when she saw Fu Cheng's episode.
Why would a cautious person use someone whose character and abilities they know nothing about as a pawn? 'He' just wanted to use himself to frame Fu Cheng.
If it weren't for Mo Huaixing's sudden intrusion, she would have found it difficult not to follow 'that person's' wishes and frame Fu Cheng in order to protect herself. She was very grateful to the man in front of her for not making her make a choice about her conscience.
To everyone's surprise, Mo Huaixing looked at Gan Tang coldly and replied with a remark that could choke someone to death, "You're the one who's sick."
Gan Tang said angrily, "Mo Huaixing, don't forget, you're standing here safe and sound because I saved you."
"Who needed you to save them?" Mo Huaixing showed no gratitude whatsoever.
Gan Tang fanned herself angrily, "Are you so sure Fu Cheng can save you?"
"Then you don't need to save me!"
I'm so angry. He's usually indifferent to me, but never this annoying.
"Whether you like it or not, you're mine now, so you have to listen to me."
Gan Tang pointed to the boundless sea and ordered, "I want to eat fish, freshly grilled live fish. Go down and catch some for me right now!"
With a splash, a figure plunged into the sea. Ripples spread across the azure surface before quickly returning to calm.
