Chapter 7 The Imposing Young Lady

"What?" Gan Tang thought she had misheard.

Ali explained, "Lu Qiang betrayed Mr. Fu, and according to the gang rules, he should be hacked to death. However, since he had previously offended Miss Fu, Young Master Fu personally spoke to Mr. Fu, asking Miss Fu to take revenge herself."

So this was the good thing the little boy was talking about. Gan Tang was somewhat confused and asked again, "You want me... to kill someone?"

Ali shook his head. "Dare to betray Mr. Fu? Killing him with one blow would be too lenient. You can chop this lump of meat however you like, just don't let him die too soon."

Lingchi (death by a thousand cuts)?

Gan Tang's mind conjured up images of punishments that seemed to exist only in history. She wanted to refuse, but she couldn't. Everyone was watching her, their emotions running high.

His face, covered in flabby flesh, stared at Gan Tang in terror. This time, it was he who looked at her with pleading eyes.

"Young Miss, please give me a quick death!"

Gan Tang raised his axe and swung it at Lu Pang's shoulder. The blow was powerful, but it only grazed him. Lu Pang was so frightened he wet himself again. Everyone burst into laughter.

Ali reminded her, "Miss, this won't do. Come on, make another cut."

The crowd jeered, "Cut off the noodles! Cut off those two ounces of meat!"

Here, anything can be used for amusement.

With a loud thud, Gan Tang slashed at his abdomen again, and blood immediately spurted out. She had never even killed a chicken in her entire life, how could she dare to kill someone?

Gan Tang was so frightened that she took a step back, and the axe fell to the ground.

Ali shouted, "Hack them all indiscriminately, let's begin!"

A long, orderly line of onlookers formed. People held all sorts of sharp weapons—long knives, daggers, kitchen knives, and even cutlery and iron pots. They chopped at the lump of flesh lying on the bed, regardless of what it was.

Every cut is not aimed at vital organs; the important thing is the torture and punishment.

Round and round it went, the screams and pleas for mercy echoed across the sea, carried by the sea breeze, like the sounds of hell, lasting for a full hour.

The people's faces gradually changed from excitement to fear, but their hands continued to slash, gouge, and stab at the lump of flesh on the bed without any mercy.

Because of this pile of meat, he betrayed Mr. Fu.

Although humanity has entered the civilized era, in such dark places, the most primitive cruelty and stimulation remain the most effective means to instill fear and submission in people's hearts.

In the very end, people picked up pieces of rotten flesh covered in blood and threw them into the sea, into the bellies of fish.

In no time, the blood on the deck was washed away by the sea. The last traitor was brought aboard and tightly bound to the railing of the cruise ship.

He Zhong, who had been sitting to the side, stood up, tears streaming down his face.

He deliberately touched the bruise on his forehead, then struggled to raise his injured arm and walked step by step to Ah San. He cupped Ah San's face in his hands and cried, "Brother, go in peace. I will definitely take good care of Xiao Ya for you."

Xiaoya is Ah San's woman.

"Thank you, Fourth Master. I'll be your servant in my next life to repay you."

"Good, good brother!"

He Zhong covered his face and walked back, crying, his legs trembling as if he couldn't stand. Immediately, two of his underlings came forward and helped him back.

Ali pulled out the pistol from his belt and searched for Gan Tang with his eyes.

Gan Tang hid at the hatch, but when she saw Ali's gaze, she ran inside in fright.

"Young Miss!"

Ali quickly took a few steps, stood in front of Gan Tang, and handed the gun to Gan Tang.

"Please, Miss, clean up Mr. Fu's mess."

"It's me again?" Gan Tang shook her head. "I can't shoot!"

“It’s very simple!” Ali released the safety, fired a shot into the sky, and handed it to Gan Tang again: “These are the rules for joining the gang, and you are no exception even though you are the young lady.”

Although Gan Tang is Lu Zhengqian's daughter, she wasn't raised by him. Biological kinship doesn't guarantee anything. If Gan Tang reports him to the police after returning to China, the repercussions could easily cause a huge uproar.

To demonstrate his loyalty, He Zhong personally suggested to Mr. Fu that Gan Tang commit murder, thus truly becoming one of them.

Lu Zhengqian felt a little reluctant to part with his newly found daughter, but he still agreed to his suggestion.

Gan Tang had no choice but to walk over with his gun in hand.

With a bang, the bullet disappeared without a trace. Then another bang, and Ah San was still firmly tied to the spot. The onlookers, terrified, hid behind Gan Tang.

With such poor marksmanship, what if you accidentally shoot yourself?

Seeing that he was about to run out of bullets, Ali reminded her, "Miss, please move forward a bit."

At this moment, she and the person who was beaten were separated by half a bow of the boat.

"...It's dirty, what if it splashes on me?"

Despite what Gan Tang said, she still obediently moved forward a few steps, but she still didn't hit a single bullet until the gun ran out.

What people fear most is not death itself, but the repeated torment of facing it. Several gunshots rang out in succession, and Ah San's feigned heroism completely crumbled. He broke free of the ropes and jumped into the sea.

Two quick-thinking henchmen dragged him down and held him tightly.

Ali was speechless: "Bring me another gun."

"I really don't know how. I've never won a prize in the balloon popping game." Gan Tang waved her hand, explaining that it wasn't that she was disobedient, but her hands just wouldn't obey her commands. What could she do?

"I'll help you, young lady!"

Mo Huaixing stood up, his pale face devoid of any color, looking as weak as if a gust of wind could carry him away. He released Fu Cheng's hand and walked towards Gan Tang.

Gan Tang realized what was happening and quickly shook her head: "I don't need your help!"

It's not that she can't aim; it's that she doesn't want to shoot.

"Young Miss, if you don't hit me soon, I'm going to die." Mo Huaixing weakly forced a pale smile.

He was so badly injured, and he hadn't even had any medicine applied yet; blood kept flowing from his back. If she didn't hit him soon, he really would die.
