Hongcheng is located in a remote area, surrounded by mountains, and some parts of the road are bumpy and uneven. The car swayed and lurched, making it very uncomfortable. Madam Chu had been traveling for two days straight for her son, and her back ached from the journey. She wanted to lie down and rest, but unfortunately, someone was sitting next to her, so she could only secretly rub her back.
"Auntie, are you feeling unwell?" Gan Tang offered solicitously. "Shall I rub it for you?"
"No need!" Madam Chu stubbornly sat up straight. She would not allow anyone to get close to her son by trying to please her.
"Oh well!"
Gan Tang politely turned her head to look at the road sign. According to Mo Huaixing's plan, they should be arriving soon.
5, 4, 3, 2, 1...
The car slowly came to a stop.
The driver turned his head and said, "Madam, the bridge ahead has collapsed; we have to go around it."
"Wasn't everything fine when we arrived?" Madam Chu frowned.
After driving for an hour on bumpy mountain roads, and with the highway almost at the door, she really didn't want to turn back.

Seeing his wife's distress, the driver mustered his courage: "Madam, I think I can go over there. Why don't you give it a try?"
Want to give it a try?
Gan Tang smiled wryly. At this point, according to the normal script, shouldn't they ask the villagers next to the road and then take a detour through the village paths?
But how could a rich young lady like herself know this method? Gan Tang remained silent in order to clear herself of suspicion.
She and Madam Chu got out of the car and waited by the roadside.
Madam Chu felt very bad that the driver had taken such a risk for her sake, and instructed him, "Be careful, if you can't make it, then forget it."
"Madam, don't worry." The driver slammed on the gas pedal with an air of confidence.
The drivers who could drive for Madam Chu were all highly skilled. The car approached the bridge, emitting a whooshing exhaust fumes, and half of it stood upright, steadily driving across the thirty-meter-long stone arch bridge.
The car reached the other side of the bridge and came to a smooth stop. The driver, head held high and chest puffed out, walked back to the other side of the bridge with a smug look on his face, intending to help Madam Chu cross.
But where are the people?
