As he spoke, he knelt down on the ground.
Gan Tang supported her, and she looked up at the sky, also on the verge of tears.
Mo Huaixing, where are you?
"Get out of here right now!"
As darkness approached, the disheveled woman grew anxious and began to lash Madam Chu with her whip, but Gan Tang shielded her from the blows.
The sound of flesh being torn open was horrifying. Madam Chu wanted to reach out and shield Gan Tang from behind, but when the whip fell, she recoiled in fear, crying and begging for mercy, "Please stop hitting me!"
The mountain area grew increasingly quiet and cold as evening fell.

Gan Tang gritted her teeth and said, "My aunt really can't walk, it's not like she doesn't want to. Let go of my hand, I'll carry her on my back."

"It's nothing!" Gan Tang's leg injury didn't damage any bones or tendons, so walking wasn't a problem, but it hurt, a piercing pain.
After walking for a while, Madam Chu leaned close to Gan Tang's ear and said in a pitiful voice, "Xin Tang, I'm hungry."
"Auntie, I have some steamed buns in my coat pocket. Please have a couple of bites."
Madam Chu took out the dusty steamed bun, looked at it for a long time, took a difficult bite, and put it back in her pocket. She really couldn't eat it.
