Chapter 94 I haven't married you yet

Gan Tang asked, "Comrade, may I call my boyfriend?"

"Young Miss!" Ali's eyes widened in anger.

"What are you doing?" The policeman who had been sitting in the passenger seat was still hesitating, but seeing Ali's obstructive manner, he pointed boldly and said, "Go ahead and hit him!"

Gan Tang reached into Ali's pocket and took out his cell phone.

When Ali saw that the young lady wanted Chu Jiahe to pick him up, he also asked to make a phone call.

This night was destined to be a sleepless one.

In the police station corridor, Mo Huaixing, Gan Tang, Ali, and his driver lined up one by one to enter the interrogation room to give their statements. Gan's parents, still unconscious, were sleeping in another small, dark room.

As Gan Tang came out and Ali went in, Chu Jiahe rushed over with hurried steps, grabbed the sitting Mo Huaixing, and punched him.

"You dare to speed with Xintang in your car!"

This was probably the first time Gan Tang had seen Chu Jiahe lose his temper, and she was so frightened that she quickly grabbed his hand to comfort him, "I'm fine, I'm fine. Why are you arguing with a drunkard? He's still drunk."

Mo Huaixing let out a burp, fitting the occasion.

Chu Jiahe glanced at Mo Huaixing with disdain, pulled Gan Tang away, and said angrily, "Didn't I tell you not to let him pick you up anymore? Why don't you listen?"

With teary eyes, Gan Tang looked at the angry man before her and accused him with a wronged expression: "Chu Jiahe, I haven't even married you yet, and you're already being so mean to me?"

Chu Jiahe's momentum immediately weakened.

Gan Tang leaned against him and explained softly, "I asked Yuan Biao to pick me up. If you don't believe me, ask Master Chen. Who knew he was in the car? It was just a trip home. Who knew he had been drinking?"

At this point, Gan Tang complained again: "I was so scared just now, and instead of comforting me, you yelled at me?"

"Xintang, it's my fault." Chu Jiahe quickly helped Gantang sit down.

As she sat down, Gan Tang glanced quickly at Mo Huaixing out of the corner of her eye, then took Chu Jiahe's hand and gently blew on it, asking, "Does it hurt?"

But the person who was clearly injured was the man sitting on the other side of the corridor.

Mo Huaixing awkwardly looked away. The pain, which had been only on his cheek, now burned deep inside him, causing him to wince involuntarily.

The sound was very soft, but it was quite jarring in the enclosed corridor.

Chu Jiahe retorted, "What are you spitting at?"

"My face hurts!"

"Bear with it!" Gan Tang, worried that the two would start fighting again, scolded Mo Huaixing, "How dare you complain of pain when you drive like that?"

“Miss is right, I have no face!” Mo Huaixing pulled his suit jacket over his head and fell asleep with his arms crossed.

Ignoring the awkward feeling in her heart, Gan Tang leaned against Chu Jiahe's chest and murmured, "Jiahe, it's Dad's birthday today. I didn't want to call him, so I called you instead. This is the first time I've ever been to the police station. Did I embarrass you?"

"No way! It's not your fault."

"What if it's my fault? Would you still save me?"

"Of course I'll save her, since you're my wife, you silly girl." Chu Jiahe hugged the woman in his arms tightly and looked at Mo Huaixing, who was sleeping with his head covered.

Even though Xintang was in his arms, he sometimes had the illusion that the person she truly cared about was the man in front of him.

A man rushed in and handed a stack of documents to the driver sitting next to Mo Huaixing. He was probably also a member of the Green Dragon Gang, but Gan Tang didn't recognize him. She quickly asked, "What is this?"

"My aunt and uncle's ID cards and mental illness certificates."

Unexpectedly, Lu Zhengqian forged his parents' identity documents so quickly that even the police couldn't tell the difference.

The driver nodded to the two men and knocked on the door of the interrogation room.

The police officer took the documents and asked Ali, who was sitting inside, "Didn't you say they were your aunt and uncle? How did they become his?"

Ali chuckled and replied, "It's because I was chatting with that guy on the way, and I just kept calling him 'Auntie' until it got into my head."

"Alright, you can come in too!" the policeman said, beckoning the driver to come in.

Ali came out.

Chu Jiahe asked curiously, "What are you doing here?" Xintang hadn't said he was there on the phone.

Ali took out the information he had already reported to the police and explained again with a heavy heart: "The chairman was in a good mood today and allowed me to go home early. When I came out of the hotel, I saw that the couple had a seizure. I saw that the guy inside couldn't subdue them, so I went up to help and took them to the hospital. Who knew I would run into Mo Huaixing, that drunkard, and something like that happened."

As she spoke, she kicked Mo Huaixing, who was fast asleep, and continued, "I'm sorry to trouble you, Young Master Chu. It's getting late. You and Miss should go back now. I'll stay here and keep watch."

How could Gan Tang possibly leave? Looking at the man beside her, she finally understood what Mo Huaixing meant: Here, only Chu Jiahe could take her parents away.

“Okay!” Gan Tang looked at Chu Jiahe: “Jiahe, let’s go first, and take that couple to see a doctor while we’re at it.”

Ali said urgently, "Miss, their nephew will see them off when he comes out in a while."

Gan Tang retorted, "Wasn't your car impounded?"

Ali said, "Take a taxi. I'll go with him when he comes out in a bit."

"Alright then!" Gan Tang said coldly, "Then I'll wait for the couple to wake up, apologize, and then leave."

"Young Miss!" Ali was truly unable to resist and compromised, saying, "I'll go with you."

"There's no room!" Gan Tang glared at him, then pulled Chu Jiahe away.

What can Ali say?

He couldn't say anything.

They could only watch helplessly as the young lady took Chu Jiahe's arm and walked towards another room.

Although the guard at the gate didn't recognize Chu Jiahe, his aura commanded respect. Chu Jiahe explained his purpose, and the guard opened the gate to let them in.

Ali and Mo Huaixing stepped forward, each carrying one person on their back and placing them into Chu Jiahe's car.

The car was parked on the side of the road, the light from the streetlights blocked by the shade of the trees.

As Gan Tang got into the car, she looked back at Mo Huaixing. She could let Chu Jiahe take her parents away, but she didn't know how to ensure their safety.

Mo Huaixing stood under the shade of a tree and nodded slightly to her before she dared to get into the car.

Because there were two more people in the car, Chu Jiahe drove himself, with Gan Tang sitting next to him, while the driver and her parents sat in the back.

Ali watched the car drive away and hurriedly called Lu Zhengqian.

"Chairman, should we send someone to follow them?"

"No need!" The Chu family's drivers are all extremely vigilant, and he dared not take the risk.

The car drove smoothly through the bustling streets.

With a ding, Gan Tang's phone rang. It was the phone that wasn't being monitored, and it contained a message from Mo Huaixing.

Mo: Hospital?

Tang: How dare you ask me?

Her phone wasn't monitored, but his was.

Mo: I'm using your mom's phone.

It turns out that he had stolen the phone while carrying Gan's mother onto the bus.

Tang: I don't know yet, I'll send it to you in a bit.

Mo: Don't worry about the rest.

Mo: Remember to throw away your phone, not delete it, just throw it away.

With the phone in his hand, Lu Zhengqian could easily recover the data.

Tang: I know.

Tang: Will you be alright?

Mo: No!
