What do you want?
"Let me think about it." Mo Huaixing's eyes were earnest, but after thinking for a long time, he still couldn't come up with a satisfactory one. He smiled and asked, "Can I keep it?"
"Sure, but there's no interest!"
"There's interest on it?"
Gan Tang propped her chin up and turned to look at him, just as Mo Huaixing turned to look at her as well. By sheer coincidence, their lips touched. Like a spark, the touch sent a shiver down their spines.
The tingling sensation flowed into my heart, its power increasing rather than decreasing, making my heart tremble.
Startled, Gan Tang kicked her leg and landed hard on her bottom.
Mo Huaixing hurriedly got up, but the pain in his body made him fall back onto the pillow. He suddenly realized a serious problem: he seemed to be naked.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Gan Tang quickly grabbed Mo Huaixing's hand as he reached for the blanket, but there was still an IV drip in the back of his hand.
She looked down at him.
"Turn around!" Mo Huaixing frowned in shame and anger, shook off her hand, and continued to grab the blanket in the distance.
"Hey, you can't move."
At this moment, Gan Tang finally realized that he was shy, so she pressed his hand down again and warned, "The doctor said you can't cover yourself with a blanket."
"Let go!" Mo Huaixing's voice was tinged with sobs.
"It's so dark, I can't see anything!" Gan Tang covered her eyes with one hand and draped a sterilized white sheet over him with the other, asking, "Is this okay?"
Looking at the man who had calmed down, Gan Tang thought he was adorably silly and couldn't help but chuckle to herself.
Is it too late for them to get angry now?
"What are you laughing at?" Mo Huaixing realized what was happening and glared angrily. "The clothes you took off for me?"
"No, no!" Gan Tang hurriedly waved her hand. Seeing him looking up in discomfort, she sat down again and comforted him, "You're so heavy, I can't lift you. Your older brother took it off for you."
She wasn't lying; it was just that she was the one who applied the medicine to Mo Huaixing's body bit by bit.
Fu Cheng applied the medicine too heavily, and he frowned as soon as he applied it, but when Gan Tang applied it, his eyebrows and eyes were very relaxed, and he even had a hint of leisurely laziness.
"What about the medicine I have?" the stubborn man continued.
Gan Tang teased him, "Mo Huaixing, do you think you're a beauty like Lin Shuang? Who would want to look at you?"
Mo Huaixing simply said "Oh," and then fell silent. He just felt he had never been so humiliated, especially in front of her. He didn't want to be embarrassed in front of her.
Gan Tang quickly changed the subject: "Where are my parents?"
Mo Huaixing countered, "Do you think your parents can escape back from abroad?"
"You mean, someone deliberately let them come back?" Gan Tang belatedly realized, "He Zhong?"
Of the entire Lu Group, only he did not want to marry Chu Jiahe.
Gan Tang asked anxiously, "Will my friend be in danger?"
"Nothing will happen. He's just bad, not stupid. If he were to harm your friend, wouldn't he be giving himself away?" Mo Huaixing reassured Gan Tang and continued, "Mr. Fu is definitely suspicious too, so we need to prove his guilt in order to clear ourselves of suspicion."
As he spoke, he began to cough violently.
Gan Tang picked up where he left off, asking, "Should I follow Yu Dayong or ask Dad for him?"
"Act according to the situation."
"Can't I see them now?" Lu Zhengqian was definitely monitoring him as well as He Zhong.
Mo Huaixing nodded, "Don't worry, they'll be fine."
"Yes!" Gan Tang nodded. "If you say it's okay, then it must be okay."
That trusting gaze pierced my heart, causing a raw, bleeding pain. Mo Huaixing felt a pang of guilt: "I can only hide them; I can't guarantee they'll leave safely."
Once someone appears in the public eye, he dares not gamble on Lu Zhengqian's abilities.
"You don't need to worry about that. Just focus on recovering." Gan Tang raised an eyebrow smugly. "I have a plan."
"I forgot!" Mo Huaixing said sourly, "You are now the young mistress of the Chu Group, and you are very capable."
"Oh, look how jealous you are," Gan Tang teased him with a laugh. "If you're so capable, why don't you find a rich woman to date?"
"Aren't I relying on you now?"
A joke, even if it's just a joke, is enough to sway someone's heart.

Early morning, at an open-air restaurant.
For the first time ever, Lu Zhengqian served food to a woman. Those serving him exchanged bewildered glances, as if it were a cosmic discovery. The news spread throughout the entire Green Dragon Gang in less than a day.
When Fu Cheng went in, Lu Zhengqian was feeding the woman next to him a bowl of millet porridge.
Even though Fu Cheng knew that He Zhong had given his godfather a woman who looked exactly like his godmother, he was still shocked when he saw her. Her face was exactly the same as in the photograph.
"Godfather!" Fu Cheng stopped and bowed.
Lu Zhengqian introduced the woman beside him: "This is my adopted son, Fu Cheng, the general manager of Lu's Group."
"Young Master!" The woman stood up and bowed.
"You're too kind!" Fu Cheng nodded in return.
Lu Zhengqian gestured for Fu Cheng to sit down and asked curiously, "What brings you here?"
These days, he's so busy you can hardly see him; he's busier than I am, the gang leader.
As Fu Cheng watched the two being so intimate, a face flashed through his mind, and he felt a pang of sadness: "Since Godfather is busy, I'll come back later."
"Wait a minute!" Lu Zhengqian called out to Fu Cheng, placed the bowl of porridge in the woman's hands, and said affectionately, "Come over after you finish eating, I'll show you around."
Having said that, he got up and left.
Fu Cheng followed behind him until they reached the riverbank.
Lu Zhengqian gazed at the vast lake and asked, "What do you want with me?"
Fu Cheng said, "It's nothing serious! I just saw my sister this morning and she subtly inquired whether you were happy or not. So I came over on her behalf to see you."
