Chapter 179 Embarrassing Fallen Blood

Even a high fever shouldn't be this bad. Mo Huaixing was stunned. "Don't you feel anything?"

"How does it feel?"

Her direct question made Mo Huaixing awkward; his face flushed red, and he couldn't say anything.

Gan Tang started to shoo people away, "I had a fever last night, my whole body aches and hurts, and I'm a little tired. I want to sleep a little longer. Get out of here right now."

Suddenly, Mo Huaixing took two steps forward, yanked the blood-stained blanket to the ground, and roared, "I was a beast last night, do whatever you want with me, just tell me what to do!"

Gan Tang's expression changed, and she warned, "Mo Huaixing, this joke isn't funny. If you keep playing tricks on me like this, I'll get angry."

"Then what is this?" Mo Huaixing pointed to the bloodstains on the blanket and reminded him, "Your wound wasn't bleeding at all, how could it have gotten on you?"

"Mo Huaixing, are you out of your mind? You're not saying that was my virginity, are you?" Gan Tang picked up the quilt and said speechlessly, "Don't you have any common sense? Virginity only happens the first time. It's not like I haven't done 'that' with Jiahe before, how could I still have it? Mo Huaixing, if you have some kind of delusional disorder, go see a doctor, no one will laugh at you."

"Am I sick?" Mo Huaixing began to waver after hearing what she said.

“Yes!” Gan Tang put the blanket on the bed and pushed him out: “Mo Huaixing, can’t you respect me? Hurry up and leave, I haven’t changed my clothes yet.”

The door slammed shut.

Mo Huaixing snapped out of his daze, looked at the tightly closed door, and felt a tightness in his chest: Gan Tang, have you forgotten, or do you simply not want to admit it, because I am not Chu Jiahe?

The sound of a hairdryer whirring filled the room.

Mo Huaixing knocked on the door and asked, "What are you doing?"

"Blow up the clothes!" Gan Tang's impatient voice came from the noise. "I don't have any extra clothes. How am I supposed to wear them if they're not dried properly?"

Even after drying her clothes, she still needed a new outfit.

Gan Tang put down the hairdryer, walked to the door, and knocked lightly: "Mo Huaixing, could you go buy me some clothes? Any jacket will do, but it has to be thick."

She couldn't very well ask him to buy her a bra. After all, with a thick coat on, it wouldn't be noticeable. At worst, she could just go buy one herself after getting dressed.

There was no response from outside. Gan Tang cautiously opened the door a crack. Damn it, in such a short time, they've vanished without a trace.

The hairdryer started again, and Gan Tang irritably dried her clothes. She was wearing a white shirt, the top button of which was torn. All that was left was a short, light-colored jacket.

Without a bra, how am I supposed to wear this?

As Gan Tang dried her clothes and was figuring out what to wear, there was a knock on the door.

"Don't wear that outfit anymore, change into something else!"

It was his voice.

Gan Tang went to open the door and saw only a paper bag on the empty ground, just like her state of mind.

After changing her clothes, Gan Tang asked the front desk for scissors and cut off the blanket stained with the marks of last night, cutting away along with her guilty feelings.

That's it, what else can we do? Desire can turn people into demons, devouring hearts and becoming hideous.

At the hotel reception, Gan Tang returned the scissors to the receptionist and said, "I'm sorry, I soiled the blanket while I was eating yesterday. How much is it? I'll pay you back."

The receptionist put away the scissors and said, "Just give me a hundred yuan."

Gan Tang reached into her pocket and found she had no money. She said awkwardly, "Could I write down your WeChat ID? I'll pay you back double when I get home."

"Madam, this isn't appropriate!"

"What's wrong with it?" Mo Huaixing walked over from the elevator.

He had changed his clothes; he looked like he had just showered, his hair still damp. Gan Tang awkwardly looked away, feeling a lump in her throat. From then on, there were no more traces of her on his body.

The receptionist said, "Your girlfriend soiled the blanket, so she needs to compensate our hotel 100 yuan. She wants to pay on credit, but we don't have that policy."

"Here you go!" Mo Huaixing placed one hundred yuan on the cashier's counter, then pulled Gan Tang away.

Gan Tang watched him hold her hand, then silently let go, trying to make conversation: "How come you still have money?"

"It's for Fang Heng." Mo Huaixing put his hands in his pockets, his face expressionless.

Remembering what he had said yesterday, Gan Tang asked, "Did you tell Fang Heng about my identity?"

"No."

"How can he trust me when I need to contact him?"

“If you say my name, he will naturally believe you.” At this point, Mo Huaixing reminded him, “But I’m not dead, so don’t go looking for him.”

Gan Tang playfully punched him, her voice tinged with sadness, "What, are you regretting telling me?"

"No!" Mo Huaixing looked at the girl beside him and smiled, "I don't want him to bother you."

The two walked out of the hotel and saw Fang Heng's car.

"Luckily we made it in time. I was worried you'd already left." Fang Heng got out of the car and walked towards the two of them, asking, "Are you going to the high-speed rail station? I'll take you there."

"No need!" Mo Huaixing refused. "We'll just go to the 4S store and pick up a car to drive back later."

"Wow, no wonder it's a big corporation, so wealthy and powerful." Fang Heng was too lazy to pay attention to him anymore, and looked at Gan Tang: "Let me treat Sister Lu to a meal, so I can make up for the meal I owe her."

“Okay!” Gan Tang had no objections.

Mo Huaixing reminded her, "Miss, the chairman is still waiting for you."

Gan Tang looked at Mo Huaixing and said with dissatisfaction, "I haven't eaten properly for two days. Are you going to let me go back hungry?"

"Sister Lu is so straightforward." Fang Heng smiled and invited Gan Tang into the passenger seat, while Mo Huaixing sat alone in the back seat.

Fang Heng asked, "What would you like to eat, Sister Lu?"

Gan Tang didn't stand on ceremony and said directly, "Hot pot!"

"Okay, let's have hot pot then." Fang Heng turned the car around and drove towards the shopping mall next to the car city. Then he asked, "Sister Lu, Pang Lou is a big drug dealer. Why would he kidnap you?"

A coughing sound came from the back seat.

No wonder he didn't want to stay; it turned out he was afraid Fang Heng would try to find out more. Gan Tang also played along, saying, "I don't know either. Everything went black, and I was tied up."

Fang Heng glanced at Mo Huaixing in the rearview mirror and said disdainfully, "Sister Lu, your clothes are a bit ugly. Who bought them? They have such bad taste."

"No!" Gan Tang looked at the little white rabbit on her chest and smiled, "I think it's quite cute."

Frustrated at being turned away, Fang Heng drove off in frustration.

Every city has similar commercial centers. While this accelerates urban prosperity, it also makes the cityscape monotonous. Even most restaurants are chains. Gan Tang walked into a chain hot pot restaurant she frequented with ease.

Halfway through the meal, Fang Heng, after rambling on and on without getting any useful information, resignedly handed a package to Gan Tang.

"Check if any of the jewelry you had sold by the kidnappers is missing. Oh, and your diamond ring was taken by Chu Jiahe."

At this point, Fang Heng looked at Mo Huaixing, deliberately stirring up trouble: "Sister Lu, you don't seem to be short of money. Why are you still keeping the engagement ring after the engagement was broken off? Are you trying to rekindle the relationship?"
