The place Gu Ning was pointing to was a stone wall outside a courtyard.
"There are words!"
Old Yao exclaimed in surprise.
"What? There are words on it?"
"Let me do it, I'm highly educated!"
Cao Meng said urgently.
As they spoke, they squeezed to the front, but when they saw the writing on the stone wall, they were dumbfounded.
On the relatively flat stone wall in front of them, a line of strange characters with complex strokes was carved.
"Uh...I don't know them, you guys come here!"
Cao Meng gave an awkward smile and silently stepped back.
"I...don't know them either!"
Blackfish scratched his head awkwardly.
Master Li silently stepped forward, frowning as he examined it carefully.
"Very ancient script."
"I don't know many."
"The first few words mean, 'Dragon-Slaying Immortal Abode!'"
Master Li said in a deep voice.
"What the heck? The Dragon-Slaying Immortal Abode?"
"You...you didn't make this up, did you?"
"How does this have anything to do with a celestial abode?"
Cao Meng looked at Master Li in astonishment, then glanced around.
"The Immortal Abode of Dragon Slayer? Could it be the person who built the ancient bridge over the river and hung the Dragon Slayer Sword back then..."
"It's him?"
Xu An couldn't help but speculate.
"What about the next part? What does that mean?"
Blackfish curiously pointed to a line of ancient characters behind it.
Master Li studied it carefully for a long time.
"Um, there are some characters I don't recognize either."
"But the general meaning seems to be..."
"This Taoist priest refined three pills that would grant him immortality. He took the first one and recorded it here."
"According to what's written here, the stone coffin is to prevent his body from being destroyed by insects and beasts during his slumber. After he takes the first pill and awakens, he will take the second one."
"But according to the records, he should have never woken up after taking the first pill."
Master Li explained.
"Wait, you said...three?"
"So that means there are still two pills left?"
Xu An couldn't help but look at the pill furnace that had been blown to pieces.
"Hey, even if it really existed, it would probably have been blown to pieces back then."
Cao Meng spoke up.
Just then, everyone heard a muffled sound coming from behind them.
Xu An and the others hurriedly turned around to look.
In the courtyard, Rat Three had already pushed open the stone coffin.
"What elixir? It's immortal flesh!"
"Where's the immortal flesh? Where's my immortal flesh...?"
"Could this be...?"
Rat Three seemed to have gone mad, muttering to himself.
"You bastard! What are you doing!"
Old Yao cursed angrily.
Xu An hurriedly dodged and kicked Shu San away.
The stone coffin in front of us had its lid overturned and lying on the ground.
Inside the coffin...
There was no immortal flesh, only a corpse.
He was a young Taoist priest, whose robes were faded and looked tattered.
Although countless years have passed, but...
The Taoist's corpse, however, was as fresh as ever, lifelike.
It looked exactly like she was asleep.
"This...that Taoist who cultivates immortality?"
Everyone stared in astonishment at the person in the coffin, their faces filled with disbelief.
"Immortal flesh, he is immortal flesh!"
"Eat! Quickly cut off a piece of his flesh! I want a piece, I only want one piece!"
Rat Three, who had been kicked away by Xu An, trembled with excitement and charged forward again, shouting and yelling.
Tick-tock...tick-tock! ...
Just then, a crisp sound echoed throughout the cave.
Something dripped onto Xu An's face.
Xu An wiped his hand in confusion.
"Blood……"
Xu An's eyes widened suddenly, and he slowly looked up.
Under the dim light, the stalactites that used to hang high in the cave had turned blood red.
Blood dripped continuously from the upside-down stalactites, creating a light, drizzling rain of blood in the air.
"Mine...mine..."
"Hahaha, the immortal flesh is mine now..."
Rat Three stumbled and rushed to the stone coffin again, wanting to pull the corpse out of the coffin and eat it.
but!
Suddenly, Rat Three's eyes widened in terror, and his whole body trembled uncontrollably.
“Xu...Xu An…”
Gu Ning pointed in terror into the stone coffin, her voice trembling.
Xu An looked down.
Inside the stone coffin, the Taoist's once lifelike corpse was now eerily melting!
The flesh and blood turned into liquid, a mixture of blue, white, and red.
Melted flesh and blood flowed upwards from the stone coffin and began to crawl out of it.
"Zhou...surrounding..."
"This...this is not some immortal abode..."
Blackfish, his face filled with horror, cried out in fear.
Xu An quickly launched a fireball, which rose into the air and illuminated the surroundings.
When they saw everything around them, they felt a chill run down their spines.
On the surrounding rock walls, hair-like, blood-red strands began to grow at some unknown time.
These things were about to stain the entire space blood red.
"run!"
Without any hesitation, Xu An roared.
Without hesitation, everyone hurriedly began to run along the path they had come from.
"Immortal flesh..."
"This must be immortal flesh!"
Shu San stared blankly at the disgusting liquid flowing from the stone coffin.
Suddenly!
Rat Three went berserk and opened its mouth to bite at the disgusting liquid on the ground.
