Chapter 38 "Are you jealous again?"
The bamboo rattan chair was some distance away from where Yan Jinnian was standing.
The two walked over and sat down.
Liu Song looked very shy, rubbed his hands on his knees, and said, "Why didn't I see you order any drinks inside just now?"
Anmi told the truth: "I don't drink much to begin with."
"Yeah?"
Liu Song smiled and said, "I saw you finish that whole glass last night, and I thought you were quite a drinker."
Anmi knew he was referring to the Qingji Island Sunset drink.
"I tried it out of curiosity, and I didn't expect it to taste so good."
She praised, "The main thing is that the color you mixed is very beautiful, it looks delicious."
Liu Song looked a little shy: "Thank you."
He lowered his head, his gaze falling directly on Anmi's legs.
"I don't usually see you wearing skirts in the office..."
Anmi has to take the subway to work, so she dresses casually.
She glanced down at her pleated skirt and said, "We're out having fun right now, so we wear clothes that match our mood. If we were working, we'd definitely wear something casual."
She thought this was normal. Wouldn't it be different for boys?
"Don't you put together an outfit specifically for the trip?"
Liu Song glanced at the shirt he was wearing; it was the one he usually wore in the office.
"Maybe I'm just lazy." He scratched his head a little embarrassedly.
The conversation about clothing ended there, and the two fell silent.
Anmi always felt that Liu Song looked a lot like one of her cousins from her hometown, so she felt quite close to him even when they didn't talk.
She looked up at the stars.
The sky over Qingji Island is very blue; even at night, you can see a deep blue sky.
Large clusters of white clouds floated above, creating a completely different feeling from the night sky over Beijing.
I watched quietly for a while.
Liu Song suddenly spoke up: "Um..."
Anmi turned her head and asked, "What's wrong?"
She vaguely felt that Liu Song seemed to have something to say to her.
Liu Song's ears turned red: "You...you have..."
clang--
The balcony railing was made of stainless steel. Yan Jinnian somehow bumped into it, and it suddenly made a very loud noise.
Liu Song's words were interrupted, and the two of them looked to the left at the same time.
On the other side of the balcony, the man leaned lazily against the railing, the distance between them now halved.
Liu Song didn't recognize him and assumed he was one of the other hotel guests, so he didn't pay any attention.
After the noise subsided, he spoke again: "Anmi, I wanted to ask you something."
Bang--
The sound was even louder than last time, which startled Anmi.
Liu Song's expression turned somewhat grim.
Is this person going to accompany him or something?
An Mi turned her head and saw Yan Jinnian with his hands in his pockets, kicking the fence repeatedly.
The quiet atmosphere was ruined by the banging noise.
Anmi felt that he must have done it on purpose.
She had accidentally interrupted his conversation with Xiaomei, so he retaliated by punishing her and Liu Song.
Petty!
Anmi covered her left ear and leaned her body towards Liu Song.
What do you want to ask me?
Liu Song leaned forward as well, and the two heads looked like they were about to touch from behind.
“Anmi…”
Liu Song looked at the girl in front of him.
"You talk... sigh—"
He didn't finish his sentence.
Anmi saw a red column of water fall from the sky, splashing right in the middle of Liu Song's pants.
What are you doing?
With his private parts soaked, Liu Song jumped up from his chair, glaring angrily at the man in front of him.
Yan Jinnian held a wine glass in his hand.
"Sorry, I didn't hold it properly."
His expression was indifferent, but his words were sharp and sarcastic.
Liu kept pulling down his pants, and because there were girls present, his face quickly turned red.
Anmi never expected Yan Jinnian to do such a thing.
"Go and change your pants!" she said to Liu Song.
Liu Song was both angry and annoyed, but unfortunately there was no evidence to prove that the man had done it on purpose.
After all, I don't know him, and he was just making a lot of noise over there, so he might be a bipolar disorder.
If he's trying to cause trouble, I can't beat him with his muscles...
After weighing the pros and cons, he said to Anmi, "I'm going to change my clothes. You go inside and don't stay here by yourself."
Anmi nodded: "Okay, I'll go in in a bit."
After Liu Song finished speaking, he glared at Yan Jinnian and then turned and went upstairs.
Yan Jinnian watched the person walk away, then placed the wine glass in his hand on the round table between two bamboo rattan chairs.
Anmi had no idea what he was up to and was just about to leave when her arm was grabbed.
The iron gate slammed shut behind them with a loud bang.
She was pulled to a corner of the balcony, and then, feeling light on her back, she was lifted up against the wall.
Yan Jinnian's large hand gripped her outer thigh tightly.
Anmi was lifted up and supported by his waist.
A firm muscle pressed against his lower abdomen.
Anmi twisted her waist in fear: "Don't do that!"
This open and erected position is so strange.
She inexplicably remembered the short film she had watched with her girlfriends at the club that day.
My head is spinning.
Yan Jinnian ignored her struggles.
He lowered his head, his lips close to Anmi's ear, his voice slightly hoarse: "The drinks he mixes are delicious?"
The hot breath she exhaled tickled Anmi's ears.
Anmi shrank back, trying to avoid him: "It's...it's alright..."
What does "it's alright" mean?
The hands gripping her thighs tightened.
Anmi's legs trembled involuntarily, and she pushed hard against the man's chest with her small hands: "Put me down first..."
Behind the second-floor balcony is a path, and anyone passing by can see this scene simply by looking up.
Their awkward posture might lead people to mistakenly think they're doing something else.
Ke Yanjinnian remained unmoved: "Answer my question first."
His body was as hard as iron, pinning Anmi firmly between him and the wall.
Anmi struggled for a while without success, and her calves drooped limply.
"What's it to you if I drink the drinks he mixes?"
Being inexplicably grabbed and questioned, she began to lose her composure.
"You can't take your anger out on me just because I interrupted your drinking with those two beautiful ladies!"
Yan Jinnian's eyes darkened slightly: "When did I drink with a beautiful woman?"
What a show-off!
Anmi glared at him angrily: "Just now! I saw it all! Those two beauties!"
"You were kicking this and that over there, just because you were angry that I interrupted your good time, weren't you?"
"You even poured alcohol on my colleague; you're just retaliating on purpose."
She glared at Yan Jinnian's face, wishing she could bite him.
He said angrily, "You petty, narrow-minded person!"
After he said that, the balcony suddenly fell silent.
Anmi belatedly realized that she might have spoken too harshly.
But her pride wouldn't allow her to back down, so she could only force herself to continue glaring at the man.
Yan Jinnian's expression as he looked at her was somewhat complicated.
His brow furrowed, then relaxed.
Twist it up again, then loosen it.
In the end.
"Are you jealous again?" he asked, his voice tinged with helplessness.
Anmi was stunned.
Who's jealous?
she?
And why is it 'again'?
She kicked her legs hard, trying to get off Yan Jinnian.
"Don't talk nonsense, who's jealous!"
