Chapter 1 Get Out of the Entertainment Industry

"Lin Qingyan allowed fans to crowd at the airport, which not only disrupted public order but also knocked down a pregnant woman, who ended up in the hospital."

"This is outrageous! Every time I see Lin Qingyan's name trending, I feel nauseous. It's never a good thing. I hope that pregnant woman and her baby are safe and sound, otherwise, what's the difference between this and murder!"

"Fans follow their idols, they're all no good, Lin Gengxin get out of the entertainment industry!"

“Last month, he even used the excuse of filming to deliberately slap An Nanyi hard. I feel sorry for our Nannan. Half of her face was swollen, but she still smiled and said it was okay. LQY is so shameless. He didn’t even apologize!”

"The threshold for the entertainment industry is too low now. Any Tom, Dick, or Harry can get in. Someone like him, who didn't even finish high school, should go home and study!"

"I heard his father even went to jail. That's terrifying! The whole family is no good. They should stop causing trouble for everyone!"

"Please, just get out of the entertainment industry already!"

"If I were Lin Qingyan, I would have been too ashamed to show my face in public long ago. You have such a thick skin!"

"Get out of here, Mom!"

...

"Sir, we've arrived at the airport."

"Sir? Did you hear that?"

The middle-aged driver's gruff voice brought Lin Qingyan back to reality. He looked away from his phone screen, whispered a thank you, pulled down the brim of his baseball cap to cover half his face, and got out of the car with his head down under the driver's questioning gaze.

Perhaps it was because the afternoon sun was too dazzling, making it hard to open one's eyes, Lin Qingyan kept her head down and pulled her suitcase into the airport.

Her tall, slender figure looked somewhat lonely from behind.

He walked hurriedly, gripping the suitcase handle with great force. The veins on the back of his fair hand bulged slightly, and his other hand, which was free, was also clenched tightly, seemingly trembling slightly if you looked closely.

The airport was bustling with people, and the standard announcer's voice came through the airport loudspeakers, amidst a constant stream of noise.

Lin Qingyan blended into the crowd, but dared not look up at anyone. Even though he was wearing a hat and a mask, he was still afraid that someone would recognize him.

Recently, he has been hallucinating. When he goes out, he feels that everyone around him is looking at him with contemptuous, disdainful, and disgusted eyes, and he hears curses and similar things echoing in his ears.

—Lin Qingyan, get out of the entertainment industry!

How can someone like you still have the nerve to live in this world!

Despite overestimating his influence, he was just a nobody, and very few people recognized him on the street.

A slight, self-deprecating smile played on Lin Qingyan's lips beneath his mask as he quickened his pace. Lost in his thoughts, he bumped into someone standing to his side, knocking the nearly 1.8-meter-tall young man to the ground, his suitcase falling to the side.

The fall was quite hard, but Lin Qingyan didn't even frown. He was afraid that other people's eyes would linger on him too long. Just as he was about to push himself up from the ground, a large hand suddenly appeared in front of him. The long, slender fingers with distinct knuckles were slightly bent, as if indicating that they wanted to help him up.

"Sorry, I bumped into you. Let me help you up."

A deep, magnetic voice sounded in my ear, calm and composed yet gentle and polite.

Lin Qingyan couldn't help but look up. The owner of the hand in front of her was just as handsome as the hand itself. Even though she had seen all kinds of handsome men in the entertainment industry, the man in her eyes was still stunning in that casual glance.

It seems vaguely familiar.

However, he wasn't in the mood to admire handsome men at the moment.

Lin Qingyan whispered that it was nothing, then stood up by herself, dragged her suitcase away with her head down.

The man withdrew his hand, stood still, and watched the young man's back. A strange emotion flashed in his deep, calm eyes, as if he were deep in thought.
