Chapter 12 Gu Fei

As soon as Lin Qingyan stepped out of the coffee shop, Li Heng quickly caught up with her.

He grabbed the boy's arm, then gripped his collar, glaring at him fiercely, and gritted his teeth, saying, "Lin Qingyan, what exactly do you mean? You just say you won't sign? Are you trying to play me?"

This time, he didn't pretend.

Even when someone grabbed his collar, the slender boy showed no panic, as if nothing could cause him to have any significant emotional fluctuations.

“Mr. Li, I don’t think I made any promises to you.” Lin Qingyan looked at him, her calm eyes seemingly covered with a layer of frost. “Please let go, or I will call the police.”

Being stared at by those eyes, Li Heng suddenly felt a little scared. He hadn't seen this silly boy for only two days, and he seemed to be possessed. He reluctantly let go of his hand and watched the boy walk slowly to the other side.

Lin Qingyan, right? He remembered.

"Sir, you haven't paid the bill yet..." The waiter carefully approached Li Heng and handed him the bill. "It's 56 yuan in total. Would you like cash or WeChat?"

Li Heng, with a gloomy expression, took out a hundred yuan from his wallet, turned around and left.

The waiter breathed a sigh of relief. The man had looked too fierce just now; he was clearly not a good person and had even bullied that handsome young man.

Sigh... What a pity, I haven't asked the handsome guy for his WeChat yet.

Gu's Group Headquarters.

The president's office is located on the top floor of the headquarters building. The overall color scheme is gray and white, and the decoration is clean and simple. A full-length window makes the room bright and airy.

From here, you can see the most prosperous areas of the southern city.

A handsome man was sitting at a large desk, with a document spread out in front of him, looking at it intently.

He sat upright, his short black hair was neatly trimmed, and he wore a simple, tailor-made shirt and trousers.

The white shirt was buttoned up to the top, and the hem was neatly tucked into the black trousers. The wristwatch on his right hand was said to be a limited edition, with a price that was impossible to find.

The sound of his phone vibrating rang out in the quiet office. Gu Fei looked up from his documents, glanced at the caller ID, and then slowly answered the call.

Before he could speak, a voice came through the phone, "Feifei, my flight arrives in Nancheng at nine o'clock tonight. Can you come pick me up at the airport?"

Upon hearing the deliberately affected and pretentious voice, the man's face showed undisguised physical discomfort. He then spoke in a flat and emotionless tone, "Busy, hanging up."

He couldn't understand why a man who was over 1.8 meters tall and had a large build could make such a sound.

An Yu cried out in anguish, "Big brother, don't be so heartless! If you don't come to pick me up, I'll have to sleep on the streets. Can you bear to see your adorable little brother homeless and wandering the streets?"

Gu Fei said, "It's heartless of you. Go find your own brother."

Another wail rang in her ears. An Yu, always shameless, cried out, "Feifei, Master Gu, Uncle Gu, Brother Gu, I'm begging you! I went abroad to race without telling my brother. If he finds out, he'll beat me to a pulp. So you have to save me!"

"It's decided then! See you tonight! Bye-bye!"

Gu Fei: "..."

He made up his mind: if An Yu called him Fei Fei again, he would call the man's older brother and ask him to pick him up from the airport.
