The black Maybach was still driving on the street, the cabin was quiet except for the sound of snacks being rummaged through.
An Yu rummaged through the storage box and took out two small cakes. She opened the packaging bag, opened her mouth wide, and ate them one by one.
Two small cakes weren't even enough to fill his teeth, so An Yu continued flipping through the box. Finally, looking at the two vintage-packaged preserved plum candies in his hand, he exclaimed in surprise.
"Brother Fei, I didn't know you liked this kind of candy. Are you nostalgic? I didn't know that."
He said jokingly, playing with the two candies between his fingers, then casually peeled one and popped it into his mouth, his cheeks puffing out slightly. "I must say, it's pretty good. It reminds me of the wonderful times when I used to pull the pigtails of the girl in front of me in elementary school."
Gu Fei glanced at him out of the corner of her eye but didn't say anything.
An Yu has always been a restless person and a chatterbox. He used to dislike being with Gu Fei the most. Gu Fei was a quiet person who pretended to be profound at a young age. If Gu Fei answered one out of ten questions, it would be considered a favor from Master Gu.
Anyone who didn't know better would think he was mute.

An Yu's nagging voice rang in his ears, but Gu Fei didn't hear a word. His gaze was fixed on a certain spot on the street to his right. A strange emotion flashed in his deep, calm, and indifferent eyes, like a pebble falling into an ancient well, causing ripples.
A bench for pedestrians to rest was placed on the side of the street, next to a street lamp. The boy sat there, his slender body dressed in a simple round-neck T-shirt and jeans, with a suitcase in front of him.
He leaned slightly forward, his arm resting on the handle of his suitcase, a white steamed bun in his hand, eating it in small bites while watching the cars and pedestrians passing by on the street.
From Gu Fei's perspective, the warm yellow streetlights enveloped the boy, making his features somewhat blurry, but his small figure looked exceptionally lonely, like a homeless stray cat, evoking pity.
