Chapter 26 Silent Help

When Shen Yijin was taken away, she deliberately glanced at her colleagues' reactions.

Everyone else was used to it, and apart from speeding up their work, they didn't even glance at Shen Yijin.

There was only the candlestick, and he secretly glanced at Shen Yijin, his eyes just meeting Shen Yijin's.

The emotions in Zhutai's eyes were extremely complicated, including sadness, pain, despair, and even a bit of determination.

Shen Yijin had a bad guess.

Could it be that after seeing two colleagues being taken to their supervisor for self-reflection, Zhutai was planning to go to the supervisor's office to show his bad behavior as well?

The supervisor's office was very special. Shen Yijin looked at it from a distance. The office was bright white and all the lights were on.

But when she was pushed into the supervisor's office by the security guard, she found that none of the lights in the office were on, and even the supervisor and Qiangwei, who had just been taken away, were nowhere to be seen.

"Where did they go?" Chen Yijin asked the ghost puzzledly.

The ghost shrugged. "How would I know? But if it were real life, she would have gone to the tea room to make coffee at this time."

Chen Yijin turned on the flashlight on her phone and searched everywhere with the dim light: "Forget it, let's ignore it for now. Help me look for it, it would be best if we can find some clues."

The Naughty Ghost said "Oh" and floated to the bookshelf nearby, flipping through a few pages of an extremely thick book.

It handed the paper to Shen Yijin and asked, "Is this the clue you mentioned?"

"What is this?" Shen Yijin was surprised that the face ghost was so fast.

Faceless Ghost: "It's a few pages from the director's diary."

Shen Yijin gave the face-skinned ghost a thumbs-up: "Not bad, you can even find the supervisor's diary."

Shen Yijin carefully studied a few pages of the diary and was surprised to find that she could actually understand the words on it.

"June 18th, sunny.

I have a month and a half left until my full-time position defense. This class is so miserable, I have to work overtime until the early hours every day. I haven't slept more than four hours a night for two months straight. If this continues, my health will collapse sooner or later...

But I fought so hard to get this position, and I'll be a regular employee soon. Do I really want to give up now?"

“On July 10, it rained heavily.

My boss scolded me today. He scolded me three times in a row to appease the outsourced contractor who's about to leave... Is he treating me like this just because I'm anxious to get a permanent position and won't leave at this time? I didn't do any mistakes at work, and I was even doing the work of two people, so why am I being scolded for no reason?

I feel so hopeless. How long will this continue? Will I ever be able to get a permanent job?

"July 26th, cloudy.

This is my 14th straight day at work, and life feels hopeless. Working weekends is one thing, but there's no overtime pay, and the wages are horribly low. I'm completely broke for rent and have been forced to secretly live in conference rooms...

My defense for becoming a full-time employee is in a week, and my boss hasn't told me to prepare yet. No, I have to prepare for both scenarios. I have to get a full-time employee this time!"

“On August 3rd, it rained heavily.

Sure enough, my boss was planning to have me quit on the day of my permanent position defense! Luckily, I was prepared. Although my method of staying wasn't very glorious, at least I kept my job. And I got a promotion right after becoming a permanent employee. I'll be a supervisor soon! I'll work hard for another twenty years, make enough money, and then find an easy job to retire on!

“On January 30, it rained heavily.

Help, this place is too depressing. At this work intensity, I won’t live long enough to earn enough money to run away.

My body is protesting. I went for a checkup today and it turned out to be in the early stages of cancer. The doctor said if the disease worsens, I may not live more than ten years...

No, I want to quit!"

“April 1st, cloudy.

Today is April Fool's Day. I really hope that the failure of the resignation review is just a joke played on me by the HR department.

Why, why, why! I have submitted my resignation application one hundred and thirty-six times, but why has it never been approved?

I regret it now. If I had known that even quitting my job would be a luxury now, I would not have sold myself out and insisted on becoming a regular employee..."

"June 2nd, sunny.

It’s a nice day today. I haven’t seen such nice weather for a long time since I became a regular employee.

Then let's leave on this fine day, and fly down from the top floor, and we should be able to find freedom, right?

Goodbye, this shitty company. Goodbye, this not-so-nice world. "

“June 3, unknown.

Where is this? Why am I still alive? I hate it so much, when will I be free! "

After reading these pages of the diary, Shen Yijin was unable to speak for a long time.

The diary was incomplete, but just by looking at these few pages, Shen Yijin could feel the supervisor's collapse and despair.

The supervisor was not happy working in this company. What was even more tragic was that she had put herself in such a suffocating and depressing environment.

By the time she realized the coveted job wasn't such a good one, it was too late.

Shen Yijin sighed for the supervisor's tragic experience. After going through so many things, it was normal for the supervisor to become evil.

Putting the diary back in its place, Shen Yijin wanted to look for other clues, but it was too late.

The office door opened and the supervisor walked into the room with coffee.

"Why didn't you turn on the lights when Xiao Jin came in? Don't be nervous, this is just a normal reflection and self-examination. It won't have any impact on your development." The supervisor said as he turned on the office lights, and the room instantly became bright.

She sat down at her workstation with her coffee in hand, and Shen Yijin finally saw the supervisor's expression.

The supervisor had a gentle smile on his face and didn't seem to be arrogant. He was completely different from when he led people to catch roses just now.
