It must be said that the Junyue Hotel truly lives up to its reputation as a high-class establishment; the food was delicious and fresh, and everyone enjoyed their meal immensely.
However, out of consideration for face, everyone pretended to be reserved and ate slowly, not daring to show their starving appearance.
Of course, there was one exception. Qin Ziling hadn't eaten much to begin with, and since someone was treating him to a meal, and the food was decent, he ate heartily, quickly finishing the food.
His appearance was astonishing, but it must be said that watching him eat made everyone's appetites grow, and some even swallowed hard.
Yu Qian couldn't hide her disdain as she said sarcastically, "Xin Yue, has your boyfriend never eaten at a restaurant like this before? Or is he just not eating enough? Why does he have such a good appetite?"
Chu Xinyue was also a little embarrassed. How could someone from the prestigious Chu family not eat well? But this guy looked like he hadn't eaten for days. She felt a little ashamed.

Qin Ziling calmly looked up at her and asked, "Why did you kick me?"
Chu Xinyue: "..."
Everyone's expressions were strange.
Yu Qian couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Qin Ziling looked at her: "What are you laughing at now?"
Yu Qian laughed and said, "Brother, how did you and Xin Yue get together?"
Everyone looked on with puzzlement and curiosity.
Qin Ziling said calmly, "I'm just a bodyguard. I didn't get involved with anyone, and even if I did, it's none of your business, right?"
Yu Qian's face stiffened.
Qin Ziling grabbed a tissue to wipe his mouth and said to Chu Xinyue, "I'm full, let's go back."
He had absolutely no interest in these kinds of gatherings; if it weren't for the opportunity to have a meal, he would have turned around and left immediately.
Everyone was dumbfounded. Holy crap! What the hell? You're leaving after you're full? Did you really think you came here just to eat?
Chu Xinyue had no interest in staying any longer. She had only come here to see her old classmates, but she found that they didn't seem to have anything to talk about. It turned out that she had been too naive.
"I'm sorry everyone, I have something to attend to, so I'll head back first. Yu Qian, please thank your boyfriend for his hospitality." Chu Xinyue said politely to Yu Qian, then stood up with Qin Ziling.
The two got up to leave, but Yu Qian quickly said, "What's so busy? Why don't you stay a little longer?"
She wanted to show off even more later.
Chu Xinyue declined, saying, "No need."
Just then, Zhang Hai walked in and, seeing the situation, quickly asked, "Are you leaving?"
Chu Xinyue nodded: "I have other things to attend to, so I must take my leave first."
Zhang Hai was somewhat disappointed, and his face showed anxiety. He hurriedly said, "Since we're already here, there's no reason to go back so soon. Let's stay a little longer."
As he spoke, he quickly winked at Yu Qian.
The latter was somewhat displeased, but still joined in the persuasion: "That's right, Xinyue, it's rare for everyone to get together like this. It might be difficult to see each other again in the future. Let's stay a little longer. The atmosphere is so lively right now, we can't dampen everyone's spirits, can we?"
"Yeah, yeah..." everyone chimed in.
Seeing this, Chu Xinyue hesitated and subconsciously looked at Qin Ziling.
The latter said calmly, "Then stay and take a look."
Chu Xinyue nodded: "Alright then."
The two sat down again.
Zhang Hai breathed a sigh of relief, then smiled and said to everyone, "I have some good news for you all. My boss just called. He happens to be at this restaurant for a business dinner, so he'll be coming over later. I'll introduce you all to him then. Our company is currently recruiting, and if the boss is in a good mood, he might be able to help you out this time."
Upon hearing this, everyone's eyes lit up. They all had jobs to some extent, but having only recently entered the workforce, what kind of jobs could they possibly find? If what Zhang Hai said was true, then this was their opportunity!
So everyone started flattering him.
Chu Xinyue and Qin Ziling sat in the corner, as if it had nothing to do with her.
A few minutes later, the door to the private room was pushed open, and a middle-aged man in a suit and tie, with a fat appearance, walked in. He had a touch of authority about him, but his face gave people an involuntary feeling of being shifty-eyed.
When Zhang Hai saw him, his eyes lit up immediately: "Boss, you've arrived?"
"Little Zhang, I heard you're having a gathering here. Did we disturb you?" the chubby middle-aged man said with a smile, his eyes sweeping around the room, lingering on Yu Qian for a moment before finally settling on Chu Xinyue.
Upon seeing the stunningly beautiful Chu Xinyue, the fat middle-aged man's eyes lit up instantly, a barely perceptible wicked glint in them.
Chu Xinyue felt his gaze and immediately frowned.
Zhang Hai quickly replied, "How could we possibly be bothering you? It's our honor to have you here! Boss, let me introduce you..."
Zhang Hai began introducing everyone, and the chubby middle-aged man smiled and responded to each one, showing an attitude that was both enthusiastic and tantalizing. However, when he shook hands with Yu Qian, the chubby middle-aged man deliberately held her hand for a little longer and squeezed her palm at the same time.
Yu Qian's body trembled slightly. She looked at the fat boss with surprise, but she hid it well. At the same time, her heart was pounding. Did her boyfriend's boss have feelings for her? Was she about to rise from the ashes and sing her own song?
When it came time to introduce Qin Ziling and the other man, Zhang Hai deliberately skipped over Qin Ziling and enthusiastically said to the chubby middle-aged man, "Boss, this is Qianqian's classmate, what do you think?"
The plump middle-aged man smiled and looked Chu Xinyue up and down, nodding in satisfaction: "So beautiful, so incredibly beautiful!"
He didn't believe Zhang Hai when they talked on the phone, but when he saw her in person, he realized that Chu Xinyue was even more beautiful than he had imagined!
