In the study, Chu Renxiong quietly looked at Qin Ziling, waiting for his reply.
If Qin Ziling agrees to protect Chu Xinyue, then he can further ensure her safety. As for the matter between the two of them, he can step back; they can't interfere in the affairs between young people.
After a long silence, Qin Ziling spoke: "Three conditions. First, I can protect her, but the marriage is off. Second, I will keep the Philosopher's Stone safe; it's too dangerous for you to handle. Third, I want to know more about my parents."

“However, although the engagement has been dissolved, Ziling will still be staying here.” Chu Renxiong glanced at his daughter and sighed inwardly.

Suddenly, the Philosopher's Stone rose to the surface, as if by magic.
At the same time, Qin Ziling suddenly changed his posture, sitting cross-legged on the bed. He slowly closed his eyes, and the next moment, he suddenly opened them again! Two golden lights flashed in his eyes!
Buzz!
Qin Ziling flicked his finger and pointed it at the Sage's Stone. A beam of golden light shot out from his fingertip and disappeared into the Sage's Stone.
The next moment, the Philosopher's Stone suddenly lit up with a brilliant red light, turning the entire room a deep red.
Immediately afterward, a beam of red light shot out from its body. Seeing this, Qin Ziling reached out and guided the light, which instantly entered between his eyebrows. The next second, an extremely terrifying pressure suddenly surged from within Qin Ziling's body! It was as if something was about to break free of its shackles!
Qin Ziling frowned, then waved his hand, creating an invisible energy shield that isolated the room.
Immediately afterwards, with a thought, the power within his body gradually calmed down.
He had just tried to absorb some of the Philosopher's Stone's power, and as expected, it did indeed increase his own power.
However, although the Philosopher's Stone contains terrifying power, it is not very effective for him and is somewhat of a waste.
"Thankfully it's not the Heart of a Sage. If it were the legendary Heart of a Sage, that would be troublesome."
Muttering to himself, Qin Ziling looked down at his chest. Unbeknownst to him, a pattern had appeared on his body: a golden dragon totem. Around the dragon, twelve blood-red chains intertwined and bound it.
