Chapter 4 Complaining "Yu Tang, you dare to complain about me to your brother, huh...?"

"What are you saying!" Yu Yanting held back his anger and didn't lash out at Yu Chaoxian. Father and son had finally met, and he didn't want to go back to the previous deadlock of no contact because of a pointless argument.

Now that they're back, they should stay home and get along well. If he hadn't ordered Yu Chaoxian to come along, the kid wouldn't have come at all. He wanted the two kids to bond, but the brat just keeps bullying people.

Yu Chaoxian scoffed and walked into the car, too lazy to pretend to be a loving father and filial son with Yu Yanting.

Yu Tang was afraid that Yu Chaoxian would also sit in the back. When she saw Yu Yanting sit down, she immediately sat down herself, preventing Yu Chaoxian from sitting down next to her.

Yu Chaoxian leaned lazily against the passenger seat, his eyes closed, looking half-asleep, clearly indicating that he didn't want to talk to anyone.

The relationship between Yu Yanting and Yu Chaoxian, father and son, is not good. Just like Yu Tang always hides snacks in his schoolbag, it is an open secret in the family.

As for the reasons behind it, only the parties involved know. Outsiders can't even get a glimpse of it. They only know that Yu Yanting seems unwilling to let his son take over the family's weapons business.

Yu Chaoxian closed his eyes to rest, but he could still hear the conversation behind him.

"Why are you using a gun to scare your classmates?" Yu Yanting asked Yu Tang while processing emails.

Yu Tang knew that the other party must have complained to the teacher. She retorted, "Who told her to kick the frog? Brother, the teacher said that frogs are beneficial insects. If he kicked the frog, wouldn't he be worse than a pest? I was just avenging the frog."

To some extent, Yu Yanting thought Yu Tang was right, but the method was wrong. Yu Yanting earnestly instructed: "If he does something wrong, you can tell him whether it is right or wrong, or tell the teacher and let the teacher handle it, but you cannot punish him in place of the law enforcer."

"I'm not going to tell the teacher." Yu Tang always looked down on people who would tell the teacher at the drop of a hat.

Suddenly, Yu Tang's eyes met Yu Chaoxian's open gaze in the rearview mirror. Catching a glimpse of his handsome face, which was contorted with a mocking smile, Yu Tang felt inexplicably guilty and dared not speak. She had been secretly complaining about him to Yu Yanting behind his back. She had even complained to Yu Yanting on New Year's Eve, causing Yu Chaoxian to be first beaten and then forced to kneel in the ancestral hall.

All I remember is that it was because she took the bunch of fake roses out of the vase to play with, and started coloring them with watercolors. Because of this, Yu Chaoxian grabbed her by the back of her collar, intending to throw her out the window. Luckily, her loud crying attracted Yu Yanting; otherwise, she really would have been smashed into a pulp and given to the flowers as nourishment, just as Yu Chaoxian had said.

Afterwards, Yu Chaoxian was forced to kneel in the ancestral hall all night as punishment. The next day, Yu Chaoxian caught a glimpse of Yu Tang at the entrance of the ancestral hall and whispered in her ear, "Yu Tang, you dare to tell your brother about me, huh? Be careful not to fall into my hands later, or you won't even know how you died."

After uttering this threatening remark, Yu Chao pushed Yu Tang aside, trampled the roses Yu Tang had brought to apologize on the ground into a pile of dust, then slammed the door and left, never to return for five years.

Yu Tang suddenly remembered this matter and still couldn't understand what was so special about that bouquet of fake roses? Was it because she complained to Yu Yanting that Yu Chaoxian was so angry, or was it because she painted the flowers that Yu Chaoxian disliked her so much?

There should be no solution, because Yu Tang would never dare to ask Yu Chaoxian.

Yu Tang held her breath, sulking and throwing a tantrum. She straightened her leg, and only then did Yu Yanting notice the new bruise on her knee. Yu Tang often stumbled and bumped into things.

Yu Yanting frowned. "How did you fall?"

Yu Tang lowered her head and sullenly nodded, not saying that she fell in the classroom, but that she accidentally fell during outdoor physical education class.

"Isn't it a toothache? Let me take a look at your teeth." After examining the teeth, Yu Yanting frowned wearily and then helped Yu Tang straighten her skirt to avoid touching the wound.

Yu Yanting applied medicine to Yu Tang's face, and Yu Tang's eyes welled up with tears. Well, she had thought more than once why Yu Yanting wasn't her father. She was sure she would be a better, more obedient child than Yu Chaoxian, and wouldn't upset Yu Yanting. Yu Tang was somewhat resentful that Yu Chaoxian always angered Yu Yanting.

Yu Chao glanced at Yu Tang, whose nose was still red, in the rearview mirror. His gaze then moved down to the girl's broken lip. This little aunt didn't dare to tell the truth. She must have been targeted at school. That's probably where the scar on her leg came from.

Yu Tang and Yu Chaoxian's eyes met again in the rearview mirror. Yu Tang saw Yu Chaoxian's gloating look, but she didn't dare to provoke him, so she lowered her head first, her soft hair falling down in a dejected manner.

Today was truly an unlucky day. She fell and hurt her tooth, scraped her leg, and ran into Yu Chaoxian, that despicable nephew who bullied her! Thinking of this, Yu Tang began to feel anxious again. How long would Yu Chaoxian stay this time before leaving?

She must behave herself while Yu Chaoxian is at home, otherwise Yu Chaoxian might smash her into a pulp again if he gets angry.

She wanted Yu Chaoxian to leave, but her brother definitely didn't want him to. After all, he was visibly happy to see Yu Chaoxian back. And rightly so, Yu Chaoxian was his only child.

Yu Yanting asked Yu Chaoxian to bring over the first-aid kit from the front seat, but Yu Chaoxian didn't move. "I'm not going to get it for this spineless coward."

"Spineless, her?" Yu Tang glanced at Yu Chaoxian with a resentful look, then quickly looked away.

Yu Yanting raised his hand as if to hit Yu Chaoxian: "You brat, you don't listen to your father anymore? You're not even as sensible as a child."

Yu Chaoxian glanced at the child who was pretending to be innocent. The child was holding Yu Yanting's arm and whispering, "Brother, don't be angry. It's not good for blood pressure control. He... he's sensible too."

Afraid that Yu Yanting's praise and criticism might anger Yu Chaoxian, Yu Tang quickly changed the subject: "Brother, what are we having for dinner tonight?"

"Hungry?" Yu Yanting took the first-aid kit from the driver and said, "Let's make some fish. I had someone send some over."

Yu Chaoxian raised an eyebrow and smiled wickedly; someone would be helping him remove fish bones tonight.

Yu Chaoxian's phone vibrated in his pocket. He had received a message from his subordinate, Mickey: [Boss, the war between the Americas and Lebanon is indeed over.]

This information was within Yu Chaoxian's expectations; otherwise, he wouldn't have had Mickey keep an eye on things. The end of the war had its pros and cons, but for him, the benefits outweighed the drawbacks. He needed to find some time to visit the Li Kingdom.

Yu Tang frowned. She was being bossed around by Yu Chaoxian again. It was the same before. When Yu Chaoxian ate fish, she was the busiest person. Even though there was a housekeeper at home, Yu Chaoxian insisted that she remove the fish bones. Otherwise, Yu Chaoxian would say that he would use her as bait to go fishing in the sea.

Yu Yanting put a band-aid with a little yellow duck pattern on her knee, wanting Yu Tang to sit back down, but Yu Tang had already fallen asleep leaning on his arm.

Never mind, I'm going to sleep.

High school seniors really need to catch up on their sleep. They get up so early every day, study so late, and have to attend extra classes from time to time.

The Bentley pulled smoothly to the villa's entrance. Still half-asleep, Yu Tang felt someone pick her up. She assumed it was her brother, and snuggled closer, placing her hand on his arm and squeezing it. Yu Chaoxian instinctively looked at the hand holding his cufflink; its texture was soft and delicate.
