"Then let me ask you a question," Yu Chaoxian said ambiguously...
Yu Tang truly didn't want to relive the tearing pain of that night, so she didn't pull her hand away. In Yu Chaoxian's eyes, not refusing was cooperation. The man held Yu Tang's hand, stopping it on his belt.
She recognized the belt; it was the gift she had prepared for him as a token of gratitude for saving her life. Unfortunately, her gratitude and dependence were quickly shattered by Yu Chaoxian on that stormy night.
The man carried her to the bathroom with one arm.
"Put your arm around me," Yu Chaoxian kissed the crown of Yu Tang's hair, carried her to the shower, and said, "I'll go in slowly."
Yu Tang's body was suspended in the air. Fearing what was about to happen, and because she was afraid of the pain, she had no choice but to do as Yu Chaoxian said and wrap her arms around his neck.
Suddenly the distance closed, Yu Chaoxian leaned in, and Yu Tang pinched his shoulder hard.
The floor-to-ceiling windows reflected a scene of obscure decadence.
The man's strong, muscular body on the glass window mostly obscured the girl, revealing only two pale legs hooked around his waist.
His strong back was covered with old scars as well as fresh red marks.
Yu Tang kept shaking, and she knew it wasn't because of the waves, but because of Yu Chaoxian.
"Tangtang..." the man whispered in her ear again and again, his voice hoarse, "You keep asking Mickey when I'm coming back?"
She used to frequently ask Yu Yanting when he was coming home, and Yu Tang used to annoy him to death.
Now Yu Tang keeps asking him when he'll be back. Yu Chaoxian's eyes flickered, and a jolt seemed to run through his heart. "You want me to come back soon?"
Yu Tang was incapable of thinking at the moment, and she couldn't hear what Yu Chaoxian was saying in her ear. She could only endure the kisses that she couldn't avoid no matter how hard she tried.
As for Yu Chaoxian, his eyes were filled with Yu Tang's affection for him, and he couldn't suppress the urge to completely possess her, becoming more and more ruthless with each move.
"Tangtang, what do you want?"
The man asked her again.
She tried to meet his gaze, but Yu Chaoxian's eyes were sharp and intense. Yu Tang couldn't understand them, but her heart still trembled.
Yu Chaoxian gently ruffled her hair, tucked the sweat-dampened stray hairs behind her ears, and kissed her lips, as if stamping a seal.
Their kisses lingered on and on, their movements never ceasing. Yu Chaoxian was completely immersed in his intimate relationship with Yu Tang, his mind and body seemingly out of control. He only wanted to take from her again and again, to receive her response time and time again.
Endless and without end.
Yu Tang raised her hand and stretched it towards the sky outside, but how could she touch it through the thick glass window?
She kept wiping away tears. Cutting off her tongue and chopping off her hands was terrifying, but doing this with Yu Chaoxian and being trapped in an illicit relationship seemed no less terrifying. Not only was it physically painful, but the ethical implications were even more agonizing.
"Does it hurt?" Yu Chaoxian hugged Yu Tang tightly before sitting her on his waist and trying to pry open her knees to see if it was swollen.
Yu Tang quickly closed her knees, afraid he would do it again, and shook her head hurriedly: "No, it doesn't hurt."
"Then why are you crying?" Yu Chaoxian narrowed his eyes, and Yu Tang's heart skipped a beat.
Yu Chaoxian reached out and touched the pillow she had just been using.
Sure enough, he touched a wet patch. How long must she have been crying to make the pillow look like this? In other words, when he carried her to bed and asked her questions, she didn't answer because she was crying; when he pressed down on her and kissed her, she didn't respond because she wasn't crying. Even when he was in the throes of passion, when he was almost out of control and only wanted to be intimate with her, she didn't revel in it; instead, she was still silently shedding tears.
In the end, only he was moved and fell for her.
The burning passion, the tide, vanished in an instant, leaving not a trace.
Yu Tang's eyes were red from crying, and her voice was hoarse: "Mickey said that your whereabouts are very confidential, and only the closest and most trusted people can know them, so... is it because I am a member of the Yu family that you think you can completely trust me, and that's why you asked me to do these things with you, because you know I won't reveal your whereabouts?"
"But what we're doing is wrong. I'm your aunt, and you're your brother's child. You should date other girls properly and wait for them to fall in love with you... Anyway, we can't do these things. Do you understand what I mean?"
He rambled on and on, not a single word hitting the mark. Yu Chaoxian was so angry he laughed. And then there was Mickey and all that other nonsense he was spouting.
"Little Aunt."
Yu Tang shuddered at his shout and tried to get off him, but a large hand grabbed her ankle like a shackle.
“Then let me ask you a question,” Yu Chaoxian said, stroking her ankle intimately and patiently coaxing her, “Are you worried about my safety and concerned about my injuries because I’m family, or because you love me?”
“Of course it’s because you’re family.” Yu Tang said without hesitation. “Just like before, you risked your life to save me, wasn’t it because I’m family?”
This is why Yu Chaoxian said that relationships are very important. Family is something Yu Tang would never abandon, but other relationships are another story.
Yu Tang has always been heartless; a mere lover wouldn't make her care this much.
However, Yu Chaoxian tried to guide her, subtly pulling her back into his arms, his lips lightly touching her shoulder, his tone both seductive and coaxing: "Then why don't you choose the latter, Auntie, and try to love me? You know love is unreliable. Maybe we'll argue a lot, and that kind of relationship will end soon. Then we can naturally return to the family relationship you want, isn't that what you want?"
Yu Tang was naive and couldn't hide her thoughts at all. She placed her hands on his chest and the words of rejection almost came out of her mouth: "But that's impossible. I will never fall in love with you."
Yu Chaoxian's smile froze, and his expression darkened. This little aunt of his, aside from anything else, was certainly adept at provoking him. She hated going to school, yet Yu Tang managed to force herself to go. Now, asking her to try loving him was like asking her to die; she'd just reply, "Impossible. I would never fall in love."
"Then let's do something we can do." He sneered through gritted teeth, pinching Yu Tang's chin to shut her up. This little mouth of hers is better used for kissing than for saying nice things; a kiss is much cuter when the tongue is soft and sweet.
Yu Chaoxian kissed him, then frowned and kissed him even harder. He really didn't know how such a soft mouth could say such heartless words.
Yu Tang was lifted up by Yu Chaoxian and then forced to sit down.
This time there was no foreplay, no kissing, just a straight-up, intense session, mostly about venting frustration.
Without any support and refusing to put her arms around his neck, Yu Tang's body went limp and she was about to fall backward.
Yu Chaoxian carried her back to the bed and pressed himself against her. Yu Tang couldn't bear his weight, so he turned to his side and continued to hold her. The two of them were pressed together, covered in sweat. Yu Chaoxian didn't want to see her crying face, so he simply buried his head in the crook of her shoulder.
Yu Tang didn't want to make any embarrassing noises, so she bit down hard on the corner of the pillow.
The room was dark, and the last rays of the setting sun fell on the bed, the pillow once again soaked. The light shone on Yu Tang's face, her eyelashes glistening with tears, and her calves, exposed outside the blanket, bore finger marks and bite marks.
Annoying, those tears, just one look at them chills my heart. Yu Chaoxian didn't want to look at them even once.
Ignoring her, Yu Chaoxian turned around and went to the bathroom to shower. He casually put on some clothes, closed the door, and left.
Yu Chaoxian went to the ship's railing to smoke. Mickey came over and saw Yu Chaoxian's back as he stood there, and vaguely remembered that Yu Tang standing in the same spot making a phone call that day, the wind blowing her hair up.
But the eldest brother didn't look too good. He was in a good mood when he came back, but his face turned somber after he left Yu Tang's room. The answer was obvious: he was definitely having a fight with Miss Yu.
Why are you arguing again?
Mickey, not wanting to be in the wrong mood, simply called out "Boss" and began to report: "Boss, the ship is scheduled to arrive in Ey at 1 a.m. today and in Fuzhou at noon."
"Hmm," Yu Chaoxian stubbed out his cigarette and asked, "What time is it?"
Mickey glanced at the time: "Six o'clock."
Yu Chaoxian frowned and glanced in the direction of Yu Tang's room. He came out around 5 o'clock, and it had been more than an hour since she finished dawdling. He couldn't possibly have fainted from a fever again.
Yu Tang had caught up on her sleep. She had been playing on her phone too late last night and was also thinking about Yu Chaoxian's return, so she hadn't slept well. Now she was so tired that she had no energy left and was sleeping quite soundly. If her stomach hadn't been growling, she could have continued sleeping.
Yu Tang was about to get out of bed to take a shower. Her pajamas had been torn by Yu Chaoxian, and she didn't want to waste clean clothes. She saw that there was only one shirt by Yu Chaoxian on the bedside table, so she put it on without thinking much about it.
As soon as she stood up, her legs went weak and she sat down on the ground. Her eyes swept over the items that had been used on the ground, and Yu Tang quickly stood up.
Memories flooded back, and Yu Tang shook her head to shake these fragments of memory away.
She slowly walked over and opened the window, letting in a fresh sea breeze that dispelled the lewd smell in the room.
When Yu Chaoxian arrived, he saw the girl wearing his shirt standing in front of the French windows, tilting her head back and closing her eyes to enjoy the sea breeze on her face. Her hair fell on her slender neck, and her fair legs were covered by his shirt up to her knees. Sure enough, she was not wearing shoes.
Besides not wearing shoes, I'm not even wearing...
The afterglow of the sunset at sea is stronger than on land, and the light makes the outline of the girl's body under her loose shirt exceptionally clear.
Yu Chaoxian raised an eyebrow. The two people in the room, the one who wasn't wearing shoes, wasn't wearing underwear either.
Almost as soon as the door opened, Yu Tang snapped back to reality. She turned to meet Yu Chaoxian's deep eyes and panicked. "I'm going to take a shower."
Yu Chaoxian stood with his arms crossed, leaning against the bathroom door, waiting. "Are you hungry?"
Yu Tang was applying shower gel when she heard the sound. She thought about locking the bathroom door, but the man's figure was reflected in the glass door, and she was a little hesitant.
"Hungry." That's what woke her up—hunger.
Based on her bathing habits, Yu Chaoxian calculated the time and asked Ajin to cook noodles.
When she came out of the bathroom, Yu Chaoxian had already left. Yu Tang noticed that the room had obviously been cleaned, and the floor was spotless. She had originally planned to clean it herself, but it wouldn't have been a problem for Yu Chaoxian to clean it, since it was all his stuff anyway.
The beef brisket noodles I planned to have for lunch didn't get to be eaten until evening.
Only Yu Chaoxian was at the dining table. Yu Tang glanced around; Mickey and Ajin were both on the deck. She didn't want to be alone with him; she was afraid of Yu Chaoxian's gaze, as if he could see right through her.
Just as Yu Tang was about to go over to the deck to ask them if they wanted to eat, Yu Chaoxian called her name.
“Yu Tang,” a man’s voice came, “eat your food and mind your own business.”
Yu Tang sat opposite him, engrossed in eating her noodles. Perhaps because she had participated in the stewing process, she found the beef brisket particularly delicious this time. She ate with relish, completely oblivious to Yu Chaoxian's gaze.
Yu Chaoxian slowly put down his utensils. He hadn't thought much of eating before, just filling his stomach. But after returning to Taicheng and being forced to take care of Yu Tang for half a month, his mindset had slowly changed.
During that time, Yu Tang was like a shadow, almost inseparable from him. She would follow him to meals and talked so much that he would try to shut her up with food, which annoyed him to no end. But he always had a way of controlling her. He found it quite amusing to watch her argue back while also running errands for him. Before he knew it, he had gotten used to having someone by his side.
It was around that time that he had the idea of raising Yu Tang. Not too big, not too small, just the right size to keep by his side like a pet.
Now, looking at Yu Tang across from him, he thought that eating alone seemed too lonely, but more than two people would be too noisy.
So having one more Yu Tang would be just right.
Unfortunately, even pets have sharp teeth. This little mouth is great for kissing and eating, but it can't say anything that pleases people.
It doesn't matter, he has plenty of time to slowly wear down Yu Tang.
