Forced into estrus, Mu Yun wanted nothing more than to be marked by the Alpha before her, to ease the pain. She didn't trust other Alphas, but she could. She wanted to smell Zou Yuqing's pheromones, to actively offer the bulging glands at the back of her neck to be marked. Suddenly, she had no idea who was coming.
"You want to mark her?" Wei Mingjue stared at the scene before him, a nameless rage rising within him. The Alpha he'd "marked" was about to mark another Omega, and even the familiar minty scent in the air had become unpleasant. "You're releasing pheromones, Zou Yuqing."
"I don't want to. She is affected by pheromones. My pheromones seem to make her feel better." Zou Yuqing did not look into Wei Mingjue's eyes again. Those cold and angry eyes made him not want to look at them a second time.
"Make her feel better? Your pheromones will only make her feel worse and make her want to be marked by you even more.
