God's Descent

God's Descent

"Kneel down."

The prince with long sandy golden curly hair broke into the magnificent palace, slowly and obediently pressed one leg to the ground on the soft carpet, and then both legs fell to the ground, kneeling in a straight and obedient posture.

His feather-shaped gilded earrings clashed with his swing, scattering the dusty white garment and the tassels of his jewelry to the ground. His exposed skin was covered with golden lines, as if he were wearing arm and leg rings adorned with dazzling flowers.

"I made a mistake." As Indra lowered his golden eyelashes, the crown of thorns on his head fell to the ground. "I betrayed someone."

"That person... is the hero of Trayastrimsa Heaven."

He knew the proper attitude of a penitent, and he was doing just that, trying to gain the sympathy of his superiors.

"Tell me the reason for your betrayal." The king, holding a scepter, sat on the throne in a leisurely and lazy manner. Although his expression was relaxed, the king's majesty could not be ignored.

Indra half-raised his face. Hidden beneath his sandy-gold hair, his features were sharp, his chin pointed, and his dark-gold pupils seemed to flow with nectar. This hint of dominance only lasted a moment before he returned to submission.

"You should know that you and I were born in the same family." A hint of joy appeared on the prince's rose-pink lips, giving him a layer of enchanting glow.

At this moment, he dared to look directly at the person in the high position with his golden eyes, even though he maintained a tamed, soft kneeling posture with a harmless face.

Hearing this, the man on the throne showed no sign of anger. His attire was even more ornate and noble, but like the prince's, it was slit to the waist. Sitting casually sideways, a hint of abdominal muscle was visible. Necklaces and other ornaments adorned his solid chest, gleaming with gold. His tattoos were identical to the prince's.

"I am you in the future. I know that we, the Eldar, are inherently weak, our divine power unable to rival that of the other gods in the Thirty-Three Heavens. I descended here ten years ago simply to prevent you from causing such a disaster today... as I did."

The venerable on the throne stood up, and the gem on his scepter suddenly shone with light, piercing the prince's brow. There, a golden mark like a bloodstain appeared.

A trace of surprise crossed the prince's face. He raised his sleeve to touch the spot where the strange feeling had disappeared, but his hand was grabbed by the man on the throne. He had appeared before him without him noticing, looking down at him with a complicated expression.

"You are different from me, Indra, you are holy and undefiled." The king grabbed the prince's hand, held the scepter and knelt on one knee in front of him.

Two pairs of golden eyes looked at each other. They were the same body in the future and the present, and possessed the same divine bloodline.

"I will grant you the qualifications to perform [Reversal]. Do what you must do, go ahead, and seize the power of the gods."

The king placed a kiss on his lips, a kiss to the prince whose edges had not yet been smoothed out, a tribute to his former self. The king knew better than anyone that the seemingly weak and vulnerable prince before him was not as innocent as he appeared. At this moment, he was more ambitious than ever.

Needless to say, the prince's expression was cold yet had a hint of charm, and the joy in his eyes almost jumped out.

The light from the scepter shone brightly, and after a flash of white light, Indra disappeared from the scene. Shortly after his disappearance, Shanjian City, which stood on the top of Mount Xumi, was shrouded in a dark cloud.

The army of the heavens has finally arrived.
