Kill gods
A black object broke through the barrier and instantly pierced through Tianzhong's chest, interrupting their spellcasting.
"Who? Who is it?" The Celestials panicked. "Something just flew past, so fast we couldn't even see it clearly."
"Hey, I'm behind you." Asura's voice sounded like a ghost. When the celestial soldier turned around, his heart was crushed.
“Asura, it’s Asura who’s come out! He’s not dead yet!?” The celestial beings screamed, looking towards the ruling Heaven of Good Dharma. “Please save us!”
Little did they know that Shanfatian's expression also changed drastically, and the golden rings on the enchanted scepter made a "ding-dang-dang" sound. He tried hard to remain calm, but in fact he was not much better than others.
"Master Shanfatian, what should we do now?" Ruyitian asked.
"The only thing we can do now is to retreat and make long-term plans later..." Shan Fatian was now filled with regret. He thought that no one could come out of the abyss alive, and even if they did, they would be eaten by the demons, leaving only broken limbs.
At that time, he would defeat Asura in front of everyone and he would be the hero of the Celestial Clan.
Who would have thought that Ashura was not only unharmed, but also became even stronger. What kind of monster is this?
"It's too late to run," Ashura said. His eyes turned red, and he instantly expanded his domain, immobilizing the Celestials within it.
"Untouchable! How dare you overstep your bounds?" Shanfatian's eyes were bloodshot. He grabbed Asura with his backhand and used his spiritual power to resist his all-pervasive attack.
The other celestial beings were stunned for a moment, and soon they all went together to besiege Asura.
"Protect the Great Master Shanddhāṇa!"
Shanfatian gasped violently, the golden light on his scepter flickering. He stared intently at the approaching Asura, and fear finally appeared on his once arrogant face.
"Do you think... you can overturn the order of the heavens with brute force?" Shan Fatian hissed, his scepter suddenly slamming to the ground, emitting a dazzling light. "I am the ruler of the heavens. How can I allow such an evil demon as you to blaspheme!"
The golden light shot towards Ashura like a sharp arrow, but suddenly stopped three feet away, as if it had hit an invisible wall. Ashura's lips curled up in a mocking arc, and with a slight wave of his hand, the golden light scatters like shattered glass.
"Order?" Ashura's voice was deep and contained a chilling smile. "From today on, I will define order in the heavens."
He moved suddenly, and Shanfatian didn't even have time to blink before he felt a huge force gripping his throat. The golden rings on the scepter clashed wildly, making a shrill sound, but he couldn't break free from the iron-like grip.
"You... you pariah..." Shanfatian uttered these words with difficulty, his face flushed red from lack of oxygen. He desperately urged his spiritual power, and golden ripples spread outward from him, but it was like a stone sinking into the sea, with no effect on Asura.
"It seems you still don't understand." Ashura leaned close to Shanfatian's ear, his voice so soft that only the two of them could hear, "Your so-called noble bloodline is worthless in the face of absolute power."
Before he could finish his words, Ashura's other hand had already pierced Shanfatian's chest. Time seemed to freeze at this moment. Shanfatian stared wide-eyed, looking down in disbelief at the arm that had penetrated his body.
Ah slowly pulled his hand out, holding a still-beating heart in his palm. Golden blood dripped through his fingers, forming strange flowers on the white jade floor.
"Behold, the Heart of the Lord you revere," Ashura said, holding it aloft, his voice resounding across the battlefield, "is no different from an ant."
Shanfatian opened his mouth, but no sound came out. His gaze began to unfocus, and the scepter slipped from his hand, the golden ring falling to the ground with a resounding whine. His once majestic features twisted in agony, and in his golden pupils reflected the cold face of Asura.
"The era of the heavens," Ashura clenched his fingers, and the heart exploded in his hands, "is over."
In an instant, blood splattered on the spot.
Shanfatian's body collapsed to the ground, his golden blood forming a small lake beneath him. His eyes, which had once looked down upon all living things, were still open, but had lost all their brilliance.
The remaining Celestial Clan soldiers stood frozen in silence, their weapons clanging to the ground as some dropped to their knees, trembling. The world they believed in completely crumbled at that moment, the once impenetrable order crumbling with the death of their Overlord.
Ashura stood beside Shanfatian's corpse, his crimson eyes sweeping across the battlefield. Wherever he went, no one dared to look him in the eye.
A faint sigh was heard in the wind, and I didn't know whether it was the fall of the master or the end of an era.
The once all-powerful rulers of the Celestial Clan, the powerful and influential people who were above all living beings, were pulled down from the altar overnight.
The soldiers who witnessed all this were in disbelief. No one dared to believe that the celestial beings whom they regarded as their faith could die so tragically at the hands of the Asuras.
The reputation of the "evil demon Ashura" spread far and wide, and the soldiers' morale collapsed. They lost their backbone and had no ability to fight. They quickly laid down their weapons and stood there waiting to die.
