Waiting for the opportunity
The two of them were entangled and confused. After a while, Indra cleaned up his appearance, a golden light flashed, and the traces on his body disappeared.
Ashura was sitting on the ground, chatting with a friend.
"Indra, come back to the ghost clan with me."
"No..." Indra shook his head, "Ashura, you always speak your mind, but the truth is not what you think."
"I told you that if you like the Celestial Clan, I'll take the throne of the Celestial King for you. However, you've been feigning weakness. I'm sure you have a plan in mind, so I can't make the decision on my own. Otherwise, if your plan is ruined, you'll blame me again."
Ashura laughed bitterly. "You don't tell me anything, how can I guess what you're thinking?"
The space inside the carriage suddenly shook, and with a loud bang, the hole above the head was broken. Shan Fatian and others had surrounded the place with their men without knowing when.
"How dare you, you ignorant pariah, come here?" Shanfa Tian said arrogantly, "Indra, why don't you come to me quickly?"
With the car body destroyed, there was no point in staying there. Asura grabbed Indra's wrist and swept him across the eight directions, leaping out of the encirclement. Looking up, he saw countless Celestial Clan soldiers surrounding the area.
Ashura sneered: "You deliberately spread the news of your escape. I guess you have already set up an ambush here."
Shanfatian disdained to respond. He just stared at the motionless Indra with sharp eyes and scolded: "What are you still hesitating about?"
"I was just wondering why people like to portray themselves as the most benevolent beings in the world. They always think they can be open-minded, but that's just hypocrisy. Your Majesty, you are like that, and so am I." Indra opened his arms, and his long, slender golden tassels spread across the floor. As he stepped out, Asura's outstretched hand was unable to pull him back.
"Indra!" Asura whispered.
"No, the experience you have inherited is far less rich and abundant than that of us, the companions of the previous king. Indra, what you must understand and believe firmly is that only the celestial race are your friends. After all, Asura is not of our race."
Shanfatian tried to persuade him earnestly, and there was actually a hint of pity in his eyes. He waved his hand, and several beams of light blocked the way between Asura and Indra.
"Asura," Indra stopped, turned around, and smiled, "You and I may really be separated forever."
"You shouldn't have come. But you came anyway."
There were many words that could not be expressed out loud, which were all hidden in the eye contact within a few breaths.
"What did you say?" Asura became visibly panicked.
After hearing the mysterious conversation between the two, Shanfatian instantly understood something. He issued an order: "Except Indra, kill them all!"
Countless soldiers descended, weaving a net of heaven and earth, using their own spirits as cages to temporarily trap Asura.
Watching the scarlet figure struggling inside, Shan Fatian couldn't help but laugh out loud, his eyes crimson. "As long as Asura is killed, no one will be a threat to the Celestial Clan's unification of the world."
"Indra, you look aloof." Shanddhāra landed before Indra. He was taller than Indra, and the golden scepter he held added a touch of majesty. His hair, dyed purplish-red, fell across his half-naked chest, and a golden necklace was faintly visible.
His silver-gray eyes stared at Indra, as if looking at a prey that could not escape.
"Your Majesty, why do you show pity to me? Is it to alienate me and Asura? Your Majesty, do you think there is any private relationship between Asura and me?" Indra's expression was gentle.
